It is fitting that we should celebrate the Holy Mass together at our Parish, the center of our spiritual life. We ask everyone gathered here to remember this is a holy place. It is a place where the Blessed Sacrament, Our Lord present among us, is kept in the tabernacle. It is also a sacred place for prayer. Therefore, please maintain a respectful silence in the Church out of consideration for the presence of Our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament, and those who are praying. Thank you for your understanding. PRO LIFE REFLECTION From today's 2nd Reading: Hebrews 2. "Because he himself was tested through what he suffered, he is able to help those who are being tested." We may not be tested to the extremes of assault, abuse or oppression as some members of our human family but we can still, with compassion, help those who are. ~~ BACK PAGE HUMOR & MORE ~~ JOKES PRINTED ON THIS PAGE ARE ONLY MEANT AS A FORM OF HUMOR AND ARE NEVER INTENDED TO OFFEND ANYONE. Something to think about A dog had followed his owner to school. His owner was a fourth grader at a public elementary school. However, when the bell rang, the dog slipped inside the building and made it all the way to the child's classroom before a teacher noticed and shooed him outside, closing the door behind him. The dog sat down, whimpered and stared at the closed doors. Then God appeared beside the dog, patted his head, and said, 'Don't feel bad fella'...they won't let ME in either'.
