I'm so excited to be a part of the ministry to Fargo/ Moorhead that's happening here through Triumph. I started in July of 2017 as The Congregational Life Pastor at the East Campus. I'm passionate about preaching and teaching the Word, reaching out to o u r c o m m u n i t y, a n d u s i n g relationships to strengthen and d e e p e n o u r understanding of how to live our lives for Christ daily. I was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. Growing up, I had some affiliation with a church through their children's ministries and youth group, but I didn't accept Christ until I was in my early twenties. God led me back to the church I had occasionally attended in my youth, 59th Street Lutheran Brethren Church, where I came to know Him as my Lord and Savior, met my wife, Mary, and felt the call into full-time ministry. After several years of volunteering with the youth group while working toward a degree in Biblical Studies and youth ministry at Nyack College, I became the full time youth pastor at 59th Street Church. Four years later, my wife and I moved to Fergus Falls, MN, so I could attend Lutheran Brethren Seminary to earn my Master's of Divinity. God was so faithful to me through my time in seminary, allowing me to work with youth and young adults at Bethel Church in Fergus Falls and then to serve as the pastor for Living Faith church during my last two years of seminary, preparing me for my position here at Triumph. There is no place I'd rather be than here, living in M o o r h e a d, serving at the East Campus. I'm looking forward to seeing what God will do t h r o u g h t h e ministry of this church! I love cooking and enjoying good food, playing board games and strategy games, and I'm a pretty big movie buff. I'm looking forward to sharing life with the people of Triumph and of Fargo/Moorhead as we follow Jesus, step by step, where He is leading us next.
