Today, we mark the conclusion of another great Sunday School year, and we join together in a special celebration to show our appreciation for the ministry of our Sunday School students and leaders. THE MUSICAL PRELUDE: CONGREGATION SINGS: Over my head, I hear Music in the air. Over my head, I hear Music in the air. Over my head, I hear Music in the air, There must be a God somewhere. A PRAYER AS WE GATHER TO WORSHIP: (responsive) One: How good is it to celebrate God s presence and to sing God s praises throughout each day! We celebrate what God has done for us through history: the creation of the world and the sun and the moon and the unnumbered stars that light up the universe;

One: One: One: the creatures that swim and crawl and walk and fly; and all God s people who have the responsibility to care and preserve creation for all of God s creatures. We celebrate God s continued blessings for our world: the flowers that bloom in glorious colour; the rains that freshen the earth; the birds that fill the air with song. We celebrate the voices of all human beings who sing and tell of God s Love in song and in acts of Justice to make the world a better place to live. God we offer our praise to you in all that we do. May we as your people proclaim your love, sing glory to your name, write or paint, dance or play musical instruments as we join in celebrating your majesty and your love for us. We are the people of God and may the spirit gather us together as we worship. Amen. Thanks be to God! Part of the Family Come in, come in and sit down, you are a part of the family. We are lost and we are found, and we are a part of the family. You know the reason why you came, yet no reason can explain; so share in the laughter and cry in the pain, God is with us in this place, like a mother s warm embrace. We re all forgiven by God s grace, There s life to be shared in the bread and the wine; we are the branches, Christ is the vine. This is God s temple, it s not yours or mine, but we are a part of the family. (R) There s rest for the weary and health for us all; there s a yoke that is easy, and a burden that s small. So come in and worship and answer the call, (Words and Music by James K. Manley)
