Assembly Daily Proceedings The 10 th Anniversary District Assembly was held from 1 st to 3 rd September, 2015 at Zambezi Central Church of the Nazarene. On 1 st September 2015, was the arrival of the guest and opening of the Assembly. 2 nd September, 2015 was day of teaching while 3 rd September 2015 was the actual business day of the Assembly. Opening prayer was offered by Rev. Kamusaki Joseph. Opening remarks by District Superintendent (DS) Rev. Isaac T. Kalumbila DAB Chairperson. Further the DAB chairperson recognised the presence of visitors starting with Rev. Mbewe Daison, the Field NTCCASE Registrar Banda Luphas, Pst. Chris Kanema and finally the Chairperson for the Assembly Rev. Joe Lilema (ASEF Theological College Principal). He started acknowledging the presences of his former students who passed through his teaching as a lecturer. He encouraged all the pastors trained and laity that they should work together as one body despite of many challenges and conflicts that they may pass through. Thereafter, he went on with his preaching from the book of Acts 2:42 47. Theme: How the Church should be organised/perform its duties. The message emphasized on teaching the true word God, prayer as the main instrument for the church, sharing of bread to one another, working together in the church of God with one heart, the church member should learn how to give for the good of the church and each other visitation to be the first priorities for the growth of the church Cell groups should be encouraged in the church f God so that the church will grow. E.g. this is the system being used in South Korea which has the biggest church in the world. In addition he gave an illustration of two families A and B of three members each. Both families the heads of the house works. Family A once he gets paid he buys for his wife and son but not for himself. The son also after getting paid he buys for his parents and not for himself. While family B when the man gets paid he only buys for himself and forgetting his family equally the son once he gets paid he does the same. As the choice was given to the two families A & B many joined family A which has love and unity. Finally the preacher concluded the message by encouraging unity in the church among the believer. That all church leaders should work together for the good of the church. Family A represents the church that embraces each other and care for each other while the family B represents the church that has no love and care for each other. Hence all members leaders or members, trained or laity they should be oneness to build the kingdom of God. Closing prayer of the message by Pst. Alice Masela (Mrs). Thereafter, the main business starts by asking the church secretary to organize the delegated. Therefore, the Chairperson reintroduced the Nazarene Compassionate Ministry Coordinator (NCM) Rev D.
