God Loves You For Go d s o loved the wo rld, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life John3:16 He gave the life of His one and only Son. He is "the God of l ove" (2 Cor. 13:11 ) whose love for us is "an everlasting love" (Jer. 31:3). He lo ves us fre ely (Hos. 14 :4) and lavishes His great love o n us (1 John 3:1). He is the source of love (1 John 4:7) and we are abl e to love "because He first loved us" (1 John 4:19). "God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we we re yet sinne rs, Christ died for us" (Rom. 5:8). On the Cross He g ave the greatest and mo st costly gift Hi s precious Son. What a glorious tru th: Jesus Christ died for us! GOD S LOVE IS INCOMPREHENSIBLE "I have loved you with an everlasting lov e; I have drawn yo u with loving-kindness Jeremiah 31:3 God has poured out his lov e into our hearts by the Holy Spirit Romans 5:5 He is the way the Onl y Way and no other way for Redemption I am the Way the truth and the life John 14:6 As a child of God, dearly loved by your Heavenly Father, draw n ear to Him, and because of God s love towards you, you h ave every reason to be filled with hope, to feel secure, to expect His help and blessings, to enjoy salvation and abundant life, to live a life o f love, to become more like Him, to live a life of victory over sin and evil, to enjoy His presen ce and to be filled with joy and encoura gement. Love the Lord your God with all of your heart, soul, mind and strength. "Thou shall love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy m ight" (Deut. 6 :5) In adoring love, the soul basks in Hi s lig ht, smile s at His favo r, swee tly trembles a t Hi s majesty, is charmed with His beauty, drinks in His sweetness, and finds no words adequate for praise, but just to look and wonder and hold its breath and admire and love and love and wish for ten thousand he arts to love Him more and more..

We need the Fire of a Genuine Revival to love Him more and more How does such a revival come into our hearts? God is looki ng for such m en and wo men today through whom He can work wonders, to move mountains an d do exploits. Are you ready to presen t your bod ies as a li vin g sacrifice unto Christ (Rom. 12 :1). The dynamic power of God can pour throu gh our lives if we surren der our all to Him to bless a needy world. Reviva l alone can bring such a visitation in our lives Oh! Christ ian believe r, we must get out of our chairs and get o n our knees before God. Revival has always b een, and still remains, God s essential tool for moving the hearts of people. Revival changes lives; it chan ges history. It is the vision withou t which the people perish (Proverbs 29:18). Revival b rings, first, a new love for God.and pe ople s hearts are puri fied, their consciences are cleared, and their innermost beings are filled with the Hol y Spirit. Be on you r faces before God! Spend as much time as you must there. "Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in merc y; break up your fallow ground: f or it is time to seek the Lord till He come and rain right eousness upon you" (Hos. 10 :12). Revival through Repentance a nd Confession. What we want these days is a true and deep revival in the church o f God which comes by repentance and confession of sins. The men who lived nearest to God and had most power with Him we re those who confessed their sins and failures. Daniel confessed his sins and t hose of his pe ople. Job was b lameless and upright he feared God and shunned evil, yet he had to fall in the dust and confe ss his sins (Job 42:6). If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9). "He that covers his sins shall not prosper: but whoever confesses and forsakes them shall have m ercy" (Prov. 28:13). If this confession of sin is de ep among be lievers, it will be so among the un godly also. God looks at the thoughts. Are our intention s and thou ghts pure? The church of God will have to confess her own si ns, It is no lo nger a question of right or wrong. Is it Christ-like?

Christian life is an imitation o f Christ "Fo r we are m ade partakers of Christ" (Heb. 3:1 4). "I am the Vine, ye a re the branches" (John 15:5). Revival through the m essage of the Cross The power of God is in the message of th e cross. In 1 Corinthians 1:18 Paul writes: "For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness, but unto us who are saved, it is the power of God." It is the very power of God. We have ceased to believe that the power of God is in the pre aching of the message of the cross. It is the cross that transform s lives. It is what Jesus Christ did on the cross that is the very power of God. When we proc laim the message of what He did an d how it affects the lives of men and women, it is the very power of God released. The message of the cross is the message that is going to bring revival to our churches. Our churc hes are filled with sin and with self, and the cross deals with sin and with self. Our pe ople need to fall in love with Jesus again--not the things of Jesus, not the power of Jesus, but with Jesus and wh at He did on the cross, understanding that my sin put Christ on the cross! Not Jews, not Romans, It is us and our sins which nailed Him on the cross. The message of the cross brings revival. The message of the cross sets the captive free. The message of the cross bring s forgiveness. The message of the cross brings reconciliation. The message of the c ross transforms lives. It is th e power of God. Paul said, "For the preaching of th e cross is to them that perish foolishness, but unto us who are being saved, it is the power of God." The power of God is in a life wholly yiel ded to the Hol y Spirit Might we come to the cross. Might the Lord break us, bend us and melt us and strip us. Might everything that is of th e self life be exposed by the light of the cross. Are you washed in the blood of the Lamb? Are your g arments spotless are they white as snow? Cry out to Jesus!!! Wash me by the blood of the Lamb and I shall be whiter than snow The Holy Bible and meditation of His Holy Word "Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path" (Psalm 119:105). "Direct my footsteps according to your word; let no sin rule over me" (Psalm 119:133 ). Holy God, I want to obey You r Word, so would You c ause Your Wo rd to be a light to my feet and a light for my path as I walk through each day? "This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you sha ll meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do accordin g to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way pro sperous, and t hen you will have good success" (Joshua 1:8). "Blessed is the m an who doe s not walk in th e counsel of the wicked or stand in the way of sinners or si t in the seat of mocke rs. "But his delight is in the l aw of the Lord, a nd on his l aw he meditates day and night.

"He is like a tree planted by streams o f water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither. Whatever he doe s prospers" (Psalm 1:1-3). "It will not return to me empty, but will accomp lish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it. "You will go out in joy and be led forth in peace; the mo untains and hi lls will burst into son g before you, and all the trees of the field will clap their hands. "Instead of the thorn b ush will grow the pine tree, and instead of briers the myrtle wil l gro w" (Isaiah 55:11-13). God s word entering our hearts, occup ying our minds, and replacing ou r ways and our though ts with God s ways and God s though ts. God s word b rings His ways and though ts down to our he arts and lives. As our m inds are filled with the word of God, we begin to think th e thoughts of God. Our whole thou ght life is completely ch anged. "It will not return to me empty, but will accomp lish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it. God s clear call to the Church is to be doe rs of His Word. To follow the LORD and keep His commands. The Word of God h as power to take impurity out of the heart. "Is not My Word like as a fire? and like a hammer that breaks the rock in pieces?" (Je r. 23:29). In Psalm 1 19:11 we read: "Thy word have I hid in min e heart th at I migh t not sin against Thee." The man who feeds daily on the word of God will have the strength to resist the temptations of the devil. Any day we neglect to feed on t he word of God, we leave an open door through wh ich Satan is sure to enter into our h earts and lives. We should p ractice o f meditating on God s word da y and night. Meditating on God s word is learning to think God s thoughts by re ceivin g His word in to our hearts and minds. We must feed constantly upon th e word o f God. "the word of Ch rist dwells in you richly" (Col. 3:16-18). A victorious life with the power of the Holy Spirit The message and ch allenge of revival which is coming is to have victorious relationship with God and his being filled with the Holy Spirit. We are to be over comers more than conquerors (Rom. 8:37. Let us be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. As we have received of the Lord Jesus, we ought to walk and please God. "Walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God" (Col. 1:10). "Let the children first be filled" (Mark 7:27 ). We shou ld be filled with the Hol y Spirit all the time. It is a co mmand of God s Word (Eph. 5:18). The price we must pay individually for reviv al is BROKE NNESS!... "To this man will I look, even to him that is poor a nd of a contrite spirit, and trembles at My word" (Isaiah 66:2). "For thus says the high and lofty One that inhabits eternity, who se name is Holy, I dwe ll in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and hu mble spirit, to re vive the spi rit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones" (Isaiah 57:15

"A Gracious manifestation of God s Glory and His presence Revival is literally "GOD in the midst of His people." His manifest presence produces all that is desirable in revival. Revival is a time whe n heaven co mes closer to earth than at any other time in the lives of men a nd wo men. The concept o f "Glory in the Church " beautifully portrays the manifest presence of Christ among His peop le in revival. In Exodu s 33, verses 13-17 "The Lord replied, My presen ce will go wi th you, and I will give you rest. " Then Moses said to Him, "If Your Presence does not go with us, do not se nd us up from here. How will anyone know that You are pleased with me and with Your peopl e unless You go with us? What else wi ll distinguish me and Your people from all the other people on the face of the earth?" The Lord replied, "I will do the very thing you have asked, because I am pleased with you and I know you by name." When the Church to day grabs ho ld to stay with the presence of God. to make everyone aware of His Presence we will see revival. "The Baptism of Fire, " "Fire from Heaven," "Fire on th e Earth," and "Flames of Fire." Persons touched by rev ival have been spoken of as "Ablaze for God," and in reporting the com ing of Christ His mighty Presence among His people. Clearly, the purging that occurs du ring season s of revival is m ost excellently represented by this term fire and His holy Pre sence. Do you have an in creased hunge r for His Presence in your personal life, your family, and yo ur church? Humility and unco mmon zeal characterize people of the Presence of God. In the Presence, many call on the na me of Jesus an d are saved a nd the powers of da rkness are forced to retreat. God s power and purity is displayed. A wayward chu rch is a powerless church. Paul informe d Timoth y that some in his days were with "a form of godliness bu t denying the power thereof" (2 Tim. 3:1-5). A season of re vival is a time when po wer is gloriously renewed. We need not be surprised then that such seasons have been described as "Power from on High," and "Miraculous Power in the Churc h." A revived church is a pure church. The unrevived church is a powerless church.."in the unrevived state of the chu rch, saints go racing to find sinners. But in the re vived state of th e church, sinners will come racin g to find the Savior.."When the agony of c onviction, the awful sense of be ing abandoned, the gri ef and terror of sin are repl aced with the blessed peace of forgiveness it is hard to find a worthy way of expressing it. Jesus wa rned of three primary hind rances to the Gospel taking root and being successful in thorny ground of lives: "The cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts o f other things " (Mark 4:19). Latter Rain Outpouring. The days preceding revival are often pictured as dry and parched. God Himself speaks of withholding the rain ( Amos 4:7) an d sending the drought to a stiff-necked peop le who

have turne d away from Him (Hag. 1:11). Thus, expressions suggesting rain are very popular during seasons of revival. Think of the love ly prospect of "Heavenly Showers." It s not the concepts of "Mercy Drops" bu t with "Showers of Blessing." What cou ld be more delightful than the outlook of "Rain from He aven"? Especially meaning ful is Joel s term, "The Latter Ra in" (Joel 2:23). Having passed throu gh the most wre tched plague of locusts accompanied by a terrible drough t, the prospect of God Himself advan cing the rainy season so t hat the crops are plent iful enough to make up for t he years the locusts h ave eaten is lo vely indeed. Revival Church is a High Way of Holiness And a hi ghway will be there; it wi ll be called the Way o f Holiness. T he unclean will not journey on it; it will be for those who walk in that Way; wicked fool s will not go about on it. No lion will be there, nor will any ferocious beast get up on it ; they will not be found there. But only the redeemed will walk there, and the ransomed of the Lord will return. Th ey will enter Zion with singing; everlastin g joy will crown their heads. Gl adness and joy will overtake them, and sorrow and sigh ing will flee away" (Isaiah 35). The presen t-day secret sins of Ch ristians will be brought into the open in Revival, o r at least into the mind of the Ch ristians, and there will be no peace until all is confessed and put right. Revival is always a revival of holiness. It begins with a terrible conviction of si n. It is often the form that th is convict ion of sin take s the troub les those who read of reviv al. A great Revival is about to sweep throu gh the nations of the worl d and the people of God are g oing to be de eply convicted of their sins, repen t and realize the great need of ho liness. Holiness will be the message we need no w and will be the founda tion of the glorious last days Revivals of t he Church and Christianity. R evival is the spirit of con viction from the evil desires of the carnal state of mankind and a need of deliverance from the power of sin which alone can lead to the true holiness. A life o f holiness is more important than the happiness and it is the way of life in the end time Revival. His Second Coming Jesus Says, "Behold, I Come Q uickly!" "Take ye heed, watch and pray lest coming suddenly He finds you sleeping. What I say unto you I say unto all, Watch!" (Mark 13:33,36,37). "Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, who took their lamps, and we nt forth to meet the B ridegroom... "And at midnight there wa s a cry made, B ehold, the Bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet H im" (Matt. 25 :1,6 ).

Keep "looking for that blessed ho pe, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Savio r Jesus Ch rist" (Titus 2:13). "Abide in Him; that, wh en He shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before Him at His co ming" (1 John 2:28). "This same Jesus shall so come in like manner as ye have seen Him go in to heaven" (Acts 1:11); "For the Lord Himself shall descend from he aven with a shou t, with the v oice of the archangel, and with the trumpet of God" (1 Thessalonians 4:16 ); "Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an h our as ye think not the So n of man com eth" (Matthew 24:44). A Glorious Eternity Awaits Us! "Behold, I am coming soon!" (Rev. 22:12). Jesus is Coming Again! Are You Ready? " look for Him" (Heb. 9:28 ) "This same Jesus shall so come " (Acts 1:11). "Even so, come, Lor d Jesus!" (Rev. 22:20). AMEN!
