When I found out Jesus died for me to make me right with God, I was surprised He knew everything about me and still loves me so much! If you want to follow Jesus, let your small group leader know, and they can talk to your family about it. Having Jesus in your heart is the first step to growing mature. As you get to know Him more, you ll be able to stop needing everyone else to tell you what to do, and you ll be able to lead yourself to live for God! But if you don t well, let s just say it s gonna get pretty stinky! God gave us the most amazing gift ever: His Son, Jesus. Let your small group leader know if you re ready to accept that gift. You can admit your sin, believe Jesus died for you, and choose to depend on God s power to help you say, No! to sin. Once you do that, God fills you with His power. And that power changes you in a good way! You ll get better at quitting the old stinking sin and living for God, instead! In your small group, talk about some sins you d like to leave behind and some new, godly things you d like to start doing.
