From the desk of the Past Commander, I have had to resign as Commander of Post 148 because of poor health. The E-Board on October 29 elected a new Commander to take my place. His name is Richard Pflug. Over the years I appreciate the help I have received from the many memvbers. I would hope that you will support Richard in the same way. For God and Country Bob Underhill Past Commander Post 148 Hello Legion Riders: First of all we want to welcome all our new riders. We are growing and with your support on rides and events we will have a good year. I also want to thank all our riders that show up for their continued support. Our dinners have been a great success, thanks to everyone and a special thanks to our kitchen help. The funds raised at these dinners help support our Veterans. It s that time of the year and we have lots of rides and events coming up. The more riders we have participating the better we look to the other groups. If you have not been to any recent meetings, this is a reminder that your 2016 dues are now due. You must pay your Post dues prior to paying your rider dues. You will be asked to show your 2016 Post card to get your rider card. If your dues are not paid by December 31, 2015 or our last meeting in December, you will be dropped from the rider roster. Rider dues will be going up to $15.00 as of January 1, 2016. Legion dues will be going up to $41.00. I encourage all to pay their dues prior to January 1 st. Once again, thank you all for your support. Looking forward to seeing you on rides and at our meetings. For God and Country, TC Tom Cobb Director ALR
