CATHOLIC BIBLE STUDY: We will have no more Bible Study this semester, but we will be having a closing gathering on Monday, April 27th at 7:30 p.m. We look forward to seeing everyone next year! ~ Sister Joy and Lauren Mass Intentions While the celebration of the Eucharist is celebrated for all of God s People, living and deceased, it has long been the practice of the Church to accept particular intentions for each Mass. These intentions are published in the bulletin which provides a means of recalling the memory of a deceased member or another particular intention. It is the custom of the Diocese of Toledo that the traditional offering for a Mass intention is $10 per Mass. The Faithful who make such an offering so that Mass can be celebrated for their intention, contribute to the good of the Church and by that offering they share in the Church s concern for the support if its activities. Mass offerings are intended as free-will gifts. No one is to be denied these services because of an inability to make such an offering. Our parish has very few Mass intentions at the present time, so, if you are interested in arranging for a particular intention for a Mass please contact the parish office. C ORPUS C HRISTI U NIVERSITY P ARISH CHRISTIAN LEADERSHIP PROGRAM Dear Corpus Christi Parishioners, This weekend we are proud to recognize the students of our parish who have completed four years of participation in our Christian Leadership Program. The Christian Leadership Program (CLP) is a fouryear scholarship program that provides theological and spiritual formation to students of the University of Toledo. The investment many of you have made to CLP has helped form the lives of future leaders who are now empowered to live their faith in their careers, in their families, and in their parishes. If you would like to learn more about how to support the Christian Leadership Program please contact me. Gratefully, Rev. Philip A. Smith Director, Christian Leadership Program The CLP program has helped me deepen my faith and uncover new points of view on how vital my role is within the Catholic Church. The friendships I have made and memories I have shared with my fellow classmates will be with me forever. Being able to express and learn about my faith in this safe and accepting environment has helped shape me into the Christian leader I am today. CLP was one of the best decisions I have made and I am extremely grateful to have been a part of it. - Tyler Popil (Biology - Class of 2015) My experience as a student in the CLP program has been one of my most memorable college experiences over the past 4 years. CLP was a gateway for me in terms of getting more involved in other groups on campus. CLP made me more confident and able to step out of my comfort zone when I ran for positions in other organizations and volunteered for different things. CLP gave me the courage to deepen my faith. -Rachel Harlock (Nursing Class of 2015) I felt called my freshman year to be more than my generic Catholic high school self. I wanted to live my faith, not just go through the motions. CLP gave me the education, the connections, the experiences, and the opportunities to live out my faith on a daily basis, while at school and away from school. I know I can carry these lessons with me throughout the rest of my life. -Lucy Hosenfeld (Chemical Engineering Class of 2015)

Not only has CLP helped me grow as a person and prepare me for the future, but it has given me the opportunity to do this with a like-minded group. The support and encouragement from this group of peers has truly been one of the best parts for me. Because of these friends I have been able to challenge myself spiritually and continue to develop myself in every aspect of my life. -Marisa Tomei (Exercise Science/Pre-Physical Therapy Class of 2015) CLP has made me grow by encouraging me to leave my comfort zone and build faith relationships with other people. CLP has made me discern what I wanted out of my faith and life. -Drew Presto (Organizational Leadership - Class of 2015) FEEL AT HOME My participation in CLP kept our Catholic faith ever before my eyes during my time at UT. That faith helped me reason problems, make decisions, and shaped the way I treated others. In short, CLP helped me become a more faithful disciple and a better member of society. -Rev. Mr. Scott Woods (CLP alumnus Class of 2003)
