Dear Parishioners, Our Annual Holy Infant School Dinner Auction will take place on Saturday, November 7 th at the Marriott West beginning at 5:30 p.m. I attend this event each year and it has always been a festive gathering. I am sure that this year s Dinner Auction will be another grand celebration. Proceeds from this Auction help to support Holy Infant School. The members of the Auction Committee are currently requesting items that may be used for the Auction. Your donations, large and small, are important for the success of this event. Many great items have been donated by parishioners including passes to Disney World, tickets to a SLU basketball game, vacation packages to special destinations, as well as gift cards to area restaurants and businesses. There s even a baseball that has been donated which is signed by our very own Cardinal Cardinal Timothy Dolan. If you have any additional creative ideas or are able to donate any item for this year s Auction, please call Jennifer Knapp at 314-704-3162. Also, if you would like to make a reservation to attend this special event, she would be happy to take your reservation. Thanks, in advance, to all who help to make this auction which supports the mission of our school - a success. I look forward to seeing you on November 7 th, but if you are unable to attend, please consider volunteering in other ways or making a donation to help our school. As always, thank you for your generosity! God s blessings for a great week!

Rosary The Rosary has been called a compendium of the whole Gospel (Compendium,198). Is this special Marian devotion a part of your spiritual life? When we pray the Rosary, we meditate on the important events in the life of Christ, which are divided into the joyful, luminous, sorrowful, and glorious mysteries. Among all devotions approved by the Church, none has been so favored by so many miracles as the devotion of the Most Holy Rosary (Pope Pius IX). www.archstl.org/ dynamic Adoration of Our Lord This is Jesus Christ true God and true Man! Mail check to Scott Fanning 759 Trago Creek Drive Ballwin 63021 We are currently planning our annual Mass of Remembrance for all in our community who have experienced the loss of a loved one this past year. This Memorial Mass will be celebrated at noon on Sunday, November 1st. The Mass of Remembrance gives us an opportunity, as a spiritual family, to join together in prayer, to ask for healing, and to give thanks for the lives of those who have gone before us in faith. If you or someone you know would like to attend this special liturgy, we will prepare a candle which will be presented during this Mass. The candle is a symbol of our baptism into the resurrection of Jesus Christ and can become a reminder to us that we have that hope of eternal life. We would like to place the names of those we are remembering on the candles, so we ask those who would like a candle to fill out the form at the end of this column and place it in the collection basket or simply drop it by the rectory. If you are not able to attend, we will be happy to include the name of your loved one who died this past year to be read during Mass. I hope that many will consider attending this Memorial celebration. It can be a time of healing and comfort. May the Lord continue to strengthen, encourage and comfort all who have experienced loss. Please fill out the form below and return it to the rectory office through the collection basket or by dropping it off before October 12. This will help us plan for the Mass. Thank you.
