ANNOUNCEMENTS In Memoriam: Sylvester Thomas October 15, 2016 Heartfelt sympathy is extended to his family and friends. Answering God s Call to Give through Proportional Giving - As we approach the formal commitment of our stewardship pledges, you may still be discerning how best to show your appreciation for God s generosity. Proportional giving is a useful tool for answering that call to give. Proportional giving involves pledging to give a set percentage of one s income, rather than a basic dollar amount. This type of pledge encourages us to see, proportionally, how much of our income we are allocating to God s work. It can also allow for more prudent planning within a regular household budget. If you have yet to make your pledge, please prayerfully consider making a promise of proportional giving as a clear & faithful way to answer God s call to give.
