Art Center: Announcing Angels Supplies provided: Doilies, blue construction paper, 3 inch circle, white paint, 1 small paper plate, star stickers, markers, glue, and Bible phrase. Write on the top of the blue paper, Jesus is born! Give each child a quarter size doily and a sheet of blue construction paper. Have the child glue the doily to the center of the paper, with the pointed side up. Let each child decorate a paper circle to look like a face of an angel. Glue the circle angel face to the pointed end of the doily. Help children press their palms in white paint and then press their palms next to doilies to create the angels wings.
