We are endeavoring to locate and repair these stones, so that once again they will be standing as permanent fixtures. 1

ALWAY, Sarah White marble headstone imbedded horizontally on a cement base. In memory of Sarah beloved wife of George Alway; born Oct. 31 1800 in Portsea England; who died Dec. 24 1836, at age 35 years 10 months and 7 days And thou are sanctified. (on reverse side is a hand with the index finger pointing heavenward) She was a faithful and consistent member of the First Baptist Church in Lobo. ALWAY, Jane white marble headstone imbedded horizontally on a cement base In memory of Jane, beloved wife of George Alway who died January 13 1847 at age 39 years To the stranger: on this tablet we can convey an adequate idea of the virtue worth and piety of her who sleeps beneath. A truly affectionate wife and a loving stepmother who daily directed the children in her charge (sic) to the lamb of God that taketh away the sin of the world the manifested (next line has transverse crack running through, therefore illegible).and grace of God in her deeply. Was marvelous to all present her consistent life and triumph in death is her best epitaph. J.A. Challoner died Sept. 30 1888 age 19 years 6 months. A precious one from me has gone, A voice I loved is still, A place is vacant in my home Which never can be filled. COLVER, Hannah wife of Thomas Finch In memory of Hannah Clover (broken) beloved wife of Thomas Finch who died Sept. 1876 age 89 years. White marble headstone in two parts. Sacred to the memory of Henry Edwards native of Somersetshire, England born Jan. 20 1798 died May 1857. Brown and grey mottled granite headstone; E boundary marker on all four corners of headstone. In Memory of Charles H. Edwards born Aug. 25 1848, died Mar. 25 1896. White marble headstone Gone but not forgotten in memory of Margaret wife of Dugald Livingston died May 4 1882 ages 73 years Native of Argylesdire Scotland She was a tender mother here and in her life the Lord did fear We trust our loss will be her gain And that with Christ she s gone to regin. Discolored white marble headstone In memory of John son of Dugald and Marg. Livingstone died July 17 1879 age of 8 years In life beloved and death lamented. 6

McCONNELL, Violetta wife of H. McConnell white marble headstone Who departed this life April 30 1868 aged 48 years. I know that my redeemer liveth. McINTYRE, Elizabeth wife of Hugh McIntyre white marble headstone with cross-like arrow at top pointing up, visage of angel below it. In memory of Elizabeth wife of Hugh McIntyre (sic) died Nov. 19 1883 aged of 29 years. The spirit is not dead, Though low the body lies But freed from sin and sorrow, To dwell beyond the skies. McINTYRE, Hugh Large 12 foot black and gray granite monument, urn draped in mantle on top, large letter M s engraved on each face beneath that about inscriptions. North east side, in memory of Hugh McIntyre died September 5 th 1899 aged 81 years, 8 months and 7 days. I am the resurrection, and the life. McINTYRE, Louisa E. wife of Hugh McIntyre Died June 10 th 1852 aged 26 years, 5 month and 16 days. Also their children Mary born and died May 17 1842, John born April 29 1850 and died Jan. 17 1851, Selinda born April 22 1852 and died June27 1852. Northwest side Mary of Hugh McIntyre born Jan. 29 1854 died Nov. 6 1919. She was a tender mother here, And in her life the Lord did fear; We know our loss will be her gain, And that with Christ she s gone to reign. South-west side McIntyre, Janet B. wife of Hugh McIntyre died Oct. 8 th 1869 aged 38 year, ll months and 29 days also their child Jessie L. born Sept 15 th 1867 died Oct. 8 1871. Footstones: FATHER (at foot of grave, north east side of monument; presumable Hugh Sr.) MOTHER (marker to east of monument ) McINTYRE (carved below inscription on southwest face) MOTHER (footstone marker west of monument, 6 to northwest of other) Markers North of monument is Janet, Jessie, Mary, Louise, Selinda and John McIntyre lot cornerstone right of Selinda s marker. 7

McIntyre died Feb. 10 1862 ages 39 years McINTYRE, Mary Died April 4 1862 ages 28 years MITCHELL, Sarah and William Sarah Ann Mitchell Born1829 Died Jan. 27 1890 age of 61years 10ms. White marble headstone; clasped hands, Gone but not forgotten in memory of Wm. MITCHELL, Died Dec. 13 1879 aged 39 yrs. 10ms, Sarah Ann MITCHELL died Jan. 27 1890 age 61 yrs 10ms In the silent tomb we leave thee, Till the morn when Christ appears. Then, with joy we hope to meet thee, Far beyond this vale of tears. Small footstone W.M Rock - north corner of cemetery MITCHELL, George husband of Christena (West) M (lot corner marker on east, north-west and south corners of Mitchell plot) (red, granite stone on grey granite base) (double bar and flowers carved in upper left corner) (south-east face) MITCHELL. (north-west face ) Woodman of the World emblem in left corner. George F. Mitchell born 1862 died 1947. His beloved wife Christena (West) born 1860 died 1948. Markers: FATHER MOTHER PATTERSON, Jessie B ( mother) and daughter Jessie Sacred to the memory of Jessie B. Patterson. Died Feb. 26 1859 age of 29. Rest of inscription cannot be read as stone is heavy to lift; white marble headstone 8 thick, fallen over. Also daughter Jessie died July 9 1859 6 months. ROBINSON, Thomas H, wife Alwylda Alwylda H. wife of Thos. H. Robinson born June 29 1863 died April 15 1947. Thomas Robinson born June 24 1858 died March 25 1954. (two white marble posts indicate a walkway or the remains of an enclosure around a grave.) ROHRER, Mary Ann wife of John Rohrer White marble headstone. Sacred to the memory of Mary Ann the beloved wife of John Rohrer who died Jan. 11 1853 aged 36 years. Farewell my kind husband said she know from your kind bosom I leap. With Jesus my bridegroom to My flesh in the tomb for to sleep. RHOHRER, James and John Henry ( sons of John and Mary Rohrer) Small white marble headstone. James infant son of John and Mary Rohrer died Feb. 17 1843 also John Henry their son died July 26 1849 aged 1 year and 9 months. 8

ROLSTON, Elizabeth White marble headstone with top portion broken off, In memory of Elizabeth beloved wife of John Rolston died April 21 1865 age 21 years Top portion of a white marble headstone; smaller stone in front of 2- A may be the top portion of 1-A God took thee in his mercy He fought the fight for thee, He won the victory SMITH, David D. Smith Tall grey and blue mottled granite headstone. (northeast side) In loving memory of David D. Smith died May 3 1900 at aged 60 years old. Although he sleeps in memory doth live, and cheering comfort to his mourners give. SMITH, Prudance Maud Rosella Ornate, carved, white marble headstone. Little Prudy gone to Heaven. In memory of Prudence Maud Rosalla beloved daughter of David and Harriet Smith died July 26 1872 at the aged 9 years 5 months and 14 days. O she was fine and lovely too, An angel in disguise, Sent to this earth to live a while., Then join the angles in the skies. SMITH, Corbet Milford weathered, small white marble headstone. How desolate our home bereft of thee Corbet Milford the beloved son of David and Harriet Smith died June 10 1868, age 2 years 8 months and 6 days. A little flower of love That blossom but to die, Transplanted now above To bloom with God on high.
