Sunshine Academy of Metaphysics Ah, Spring flowers blooming, lots of rain, still quite a bit of cold from the winter for now, but promises of balmy nights spent outside lingering in the air. The Angel of Light card chosen for you this month is Light. Light illuminates darkness and gloom, bringing hope and inspiration. Ask the angels to fill you with more light, for it contains spiritual information and knowledge. These are the keys to the Universe and bring love and peace, as well as unlocking the wisdom within you. As your light becomes stronger and clearer you will find clarity and purpose. Affirmation: I am a light. I have finally found my home in South Africa. I used to say to spirit take me anywhere, I m game, but now that I m here, I feel like this is where I belong. I haven t felt that way for 10 years now, so it is a truly welcome feeling and I am now finally able to put my roots down and establish my base. Next step is to manifest owning my own home here, so that I can start my Starseed Spiritual Development Centre. Got a few properties earmarked and just waiting for the Universe to hop on board my dream boat and make it a reality. Anyway, enough about me The recent Cape Town and Durban Munay Ki classes went swimmingly well and we all had great fun! In Durban we had a blessing and activation ceremony at the end of the workshop where participants got to dance, chant, sing, rattle and drum, and be part of creating the ceremony. We will be doing this for all future workshops too, as it is wonderfully fun and special. The Joburg workshop in September is completely full now, so if you are interested in attending in Joburg, the next workshop will be on 3 & 4 November. MEDITATION FOR PACHAMAMA GAIA (MOTHER EARTH) (With thanks to Catherine Daphne for sending this to me) Now is the time for a new beginning. We are co-creators with Spirit, and it is a new Universe that comes As the will of Spirit is expressed on Earth through us. It is the Kingdom of Light, Love, Peace, Humility, Gratitude and Understanding And we are doing our part to reveal its reality. We call on the powers of Earth, Air, Fire and Water in perfect balance. I begin with me. I am a Living Soul and Spirit dwells in me, as me. I and Spirit are one, and all that Spirit has is mine. What is true for me is true for everyone, for Spirit is all and all is Spirit I see only Spirit in every soul And to every woman, man and child on Earth I say: I love you, for you are me. You are my Holy Self. To all the creatures of Mother Earth I say: I acknowledge and respect your soul. I bring protection upon you From all the degradations that you suffer. And the Radiance grows, permeating, saturating, every form of life There is only the vibration of one clear connection now. All the kingdoms of the Earth respond, and the Planet is alive with Light and Love. There is total Unity, and in this Unity we speak the Word. There is a sense of connection. Humankind is returned to Spiritkind. Peace comes forth in every mind. Love flows forth from every heart. Forgiveness reigns in every soul. Love, Understanding and Humility is our common bond. SOLAR FLARES Aluna Joy Yaxchin It sure was pretty... but it really delivered a hard blow! Friday afternoon magnified by a FULL MOON we had our first large solar flare in over 2 weeks. This time the symptoms went much deeper. Instead of the simple physical "heebie jeebies" and slight agitation... We can report... high levels of exhaustion, stress/irritation (some times extreme), unfocused, disturbing nightmares, aches and pains, nausea, and relationships issues of all kinds coming up to be cleared out. Scientists classify solar flares according to their x-ray brightness in the wavelength range 1 to 8 Angstroms. There are 3 categories: X-class flares are big; they are major events that can trigger planet-wide radio blackouts and long-lasting radiation storms (must reach X6-X10 to do that). M-class flares are medium-sized; they can cause brief radio blackouts that affect Earth's polar regions. Minor radiation storms sometimes follow an M-class flare. Compared to X- and M-class events, C-class flares are small with few noticeable consequences here on Earth. Sensitives can feel most flares as they burst from the SUN. This will be hours before space weather or your iphone 3DSUN app has time to post it! About 24-48 hours after a solar blast leaves the sun, it blows into our atmosphere and uses our own power gird to disseminate the magnetic pulse. SO... What solar flares DO FOR YOU is they raise your frequency and open ascension portals. This is part of the divine plan as we line up at the end-zone to birth ourselves out of the dark riff... the 33 year plus journey we have made through the galactic center. Soon the energy will slowly begin to lighten up. (this process will be complete in 2016) I plan on having a big party for this one. WHAT CAN WE TO DO EASE THE SYMPTOMS RIGHT NOW... Keep black tourmaline and hematite in your pockets during the day and under your bed at night. Get out in nature and away from all cell phone/wifi service if you can. Get near natural flowing water if you can. Take Magnesium baths for aches (go to your local health food store for this). We are smudging and clearing our house DAILY! You might want to try this as well. Be in LOVE and GRATITUDE... Be EASY on yourself and others and keep breathing.

News and Updates Since we are now settled, I will be starting to run a Reiki Level 1 to Advanced 12 week course and Crystal Healing 8 week course in Jeffreys Bay. I have a whole program set out for 2013, which includes a lot of the Metaphysics Diploma subjects in class format (in Jeffreys Bay initially). The Reiki Level 1 to Advanced as well as Crystal Healing courses will be run in Durban and Cape Town again from early 2013, expanding to Joburg later in 2013. I read this the other day on Facebook I m not scared that the world will end in December 2012, I m scared that nothing will change. I m sure a lot of you can identify with that. According to the scientists, at the rate we have destroyed the planet, all life on earth WILL end, it s just a matter of time. What we need now is divine intervention. So let s make it happen!
