The Platform of Jesus The first plank in the platform of the Gospel of Jesus # 1 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because He hath anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor (Lk 4:18) Jesus has an anti-poverty program (both spiritual and physical). That is the first Apostolic task of every Apostolic people (child of God) and every church of God that ever came into existence. Every church that fails in the Apostolic task to mankind has failed in the first principle and has denied the first platform of the gospel of Jesus. Beloved brothers and sisters!! My heart has NEVER gone out in sympathy to a body of believers who have become a little clique and represent a certain select number of society. My conception of the real Apostolic church of God is one where rich and poor bless God, alike feel at home, where there are no barriers and no boundaries, but soul flows out to soul and, in the larger life, man knows only man and God. The Apostolic ministry of the things of God must ever be without money and without price. Apostolic Movement for Jesus 1
My soul could never descend to the place where charges are made for the services of the minister of. Never, bless God! It is our G.O. Ministry privilege to make possible a ministry to the people without money and price, bless God. The magnanimity of the Lord Jesus has stood out as a blessed and wonderful feature in all His ministry. I Apostle Cho wondered how many people really knew how the Lord existed during His own earth life. The Word of God gives us one little hint in these words: And Joanna the wife of Chuza Herod's steward, and Susanna, and many others, which ministered unto him of their substance. (Lk 8:3) That was how the Son of God was able to minister without money and without price to mankind. Apostolic people today may have that privilege, too. It is ours. I have faith in God. This Apostolic church will demonstrate s ministry to the poor. For 15 years, God has privileged me to preach the gospel without salary, without collections. I never asked a man for a cent in my life; and I have lived, bless God, and have been able to minister every day. God has met me every time, and I believe He will meet every other man and woman who will likewise put his or her trust in God and go forward. Apostolic Movement for Jesus 2
The second plank in the platform of the Gospel of Jesus #2 He hath sent Me to heal the brokenhearted. (Lk 4:18) There are lots of them. I tell you that I have been in Los Angeles, the Lord has let me into the homes of the rich and poor, and it is not in the poor districts that you find all the brokenhearted, by any means. He hath sent ME to heal the brokenhearted that is the G.O. Ministry of this body. If there is a brokenhearted soul in your locality, you are the one who, in the name of Jesus, has the privilege of ministering in the things of God to that soul. Brokenhearted sometimes Because of sin Because of sickness Because of the condition around him that seems to be unable to control When we see the living God, in His tender mercy, touch one and another and make them whole whether in spirit, in soul, or in body. I rejoice equally in either case, for what God does is always good and worthy of praise. Apostolic Movement for Jesus 3
I regard the healing of man s body to be just as sacred as the healing of his soul. There is no distinction. Jesus made none. He provided a perfect salvation for mankind. Apostle Cho s emphasis All the man needed for spirit, soul or body. God has made it very clear. There is to be a healing church. Everyone who has been called to this ministry and those who will be called in the future will minister to body and soul and spirit through the Lord Jesus. The third plank in the platform of the Gospel of Jesus #3 He hath sent ME to preach deliverance to the captive (Lk 4:18) How many there are captives!! So many are bound by the evil force. Jesus said if I cast out devil by the Spirit of God then the Kingdom of God is come unto you. If we cannot cast out devil or evil force then the Kingdom of God is not come unto us. In Mk 16:17, whoever believes in Jesus, in my name shall they cast out devils. Apostolic Movement for Jesus 4
To preach deliverance to the captives and more than captives. All kind of powers, earthly and sensual, bless God. It is the privilege of the Apostolic church to bring deliverance to the captive of sin, of disease, of death and of hell not only proclaiming the message of deliverance, but exercising the power of God to set them free. The fourth plank in the platform of the Gospel of Jesus #4 Recovering of sight to the blind Apostle Paul says, In whom the god of the world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of, who is the image of God shall shine unto them. (2 Co 4:4) Recovering of sight to the blind. But there are many blind hearts, blind minds, blind souls, just as well as blind eyes, who do not see the beauty and power of the things of. And to them we bring today the message of our, Recovery of sight to the blind. G.O. ministry family! I pray that above every other thing, this ministry will be an Apostolic church that will know God so intimately that when men come in contact with any one of us, they will feel that have met one who is able to reveal the Lord Jesus to them. The fifth plank in the platform of the Gospel of Jesus #5 To set at liberty them that are bruised There are the bleeding ones, the bruised ones, those that have been hidden away, and those lives that have been made a burden. After come back from the war, a young warrior with whom life had gone so very hard had lost hope and gone into despair so deep that he tried to blot himself out by committing suicide. He shot himself in the mouth, and the bullet came out the back of the head, strangely, without killing him. This left him with a violent pain in the base of the brain that caused him to suffer untold among his neck rigid. This young man came up on the platform to be prayed for, and I wanted the one accord of the people. So I made a plea in some such words as these: Here is a poor brother with whom life has gone so hard that he tried to blot himself out, and, in his endeavor to do so, he shot himself with the result that he is in the condition you see him in now. Beloved brothers and sisters! Let us lift up our hearts and eyes and ask Father God to heal this brother! Presently, I began to observe that up from the audience there came a wave of warm loving God to become one accord! Apostolic Movement for Jesus 6
I said, Father God in the name of Jesus I thank you that you have heard us. I rebuke pain and heal this brother right now!! I put my hands on him and prayed, and the power of God came down upon him, and instantly the joints became loose, the neck became pliable, and pain was gone. This brother looking up my face he said, I am healed. I said, That was the Lord Jesus. Down in the audience that morning was one of the most cultured gentlemen, it has ever been my privilege to know and everyone raising his hands and shouted My Lord My God. Beloved brothers and sisters, it is my conviction: The purity of Jesus and the radiant holiness and power of God will manifest alike to the cultured and uncultured, for both hearts are hungry when they see the living. Apostle Cho s emphasis The sixth plank in the platform of the Gospel of Jesus #6 To preach the acceptable year of the Lord Not next year, not in five years, not when you die, but present salvation, a present healing, for spirit and soul and body. All you need, bless God, is to bring your whole being into perfect harmony with the living God, so that the Spirit of God radiates through your spirit, radiates through your mind, and radiates likewise through your body. Among the most precious privileges that is giving to the true Apostolic church is to be in fact, not in word, but in power the body of. The Word of God speaks of the church, which is His Body. God the Father manifested Himself through that one beautiful, holy, purified body of Jesus in such a manner, such a perfect manner, that when men looked upon Him they did not see the man Jesus, but they saw God. When God wants to heal a person, the healing does not fall down from heaven, but it does come through the medium of the child of God. Therefore, God has given us the exalted privilege of being co-laborers together with Him. The business of the Apostolic church is to be a savior, or saviors. For the Word of God says, These shall be saviors in Zion (Obadiah 21). Amen. Apostolic Movement for Jesus 8
