[20] And he closed the book, and he gave it again to the minister, and sat down. Isaiah 61:1-2 [1] The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me; because the Lord hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound; [2] To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn. REVELATION 19 11] And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him [was] called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. The Coming King (Psalms 2; 45; 46; 47; 50:1-6; 68; Isaiah 11, 24:19-23,25; 26:20,21; 63:1-6; 65:5-16; Daniel 2:44-45; 7:9-14; Joel 3; Habakkuk 3; Zechariah 14). Matthew 24:29-30 [29] Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: [30] And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. Jesus will end the Tribulation Period with His glorious return and victory over the armies of the world and establish His reign on earth. heaven opened (19:11) John 1:51 And he saith unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Hereafter ye shall see heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of man. Matthew 26:64 Jesus saith unto him, Thou hast said:nevertheless I say unto you, Hereafter shall ye see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven. Acts 1:11 Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven. [2] The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord, and against his anointed Enoch of Genesis 5 prophesied: (Earliest prophecy spoken by a prophet.) A name written, that no man knew Revelation 3:12, and I will write upon him my new name. Note the emphasis on His names (v.11-13,16); Secret name same as new name 13] And he [was] clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God. Dipped in blood - (Isaiah 63:1-4; Revelation 14:20.) Word of God - John 1:1-14. [He is even the Alpha and Omega [ALPEH TAV] (Revelation 21:6; 22:13, Zechariah 12:10.] 14] And the armies [which were] in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. He leaves heaven to come to the earth for the Battle of Armageddon (Psalms 2; Revelation 16:14). The armies - Jude 14; Zechariah 14:5. Angels with Him (Matthew 13:41; 25:31; 2 Thessalonians 1:7). We will return with Him! (1 Thessalonians 3:13; 2 Thessalonians 1:10; Colossians 3:4). 15] And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the wine press of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. Out of His mouth goeth a sharp sword - (2 Thessalonians 2:8; Isaiah 11:4, Hebrews 4:12; Ephesians 6:17; Revelation 1:16; 2:16; 19:15, 21; Psalms 149:6; Isaiah 49:2). Isaiah 11:4 But with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth: and he shall smite the earth with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked. 2 Thessalonians 2:8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming.
