These simple words. Simple yet profound words. Express the sacrifice that rescued me. And the love that transformed me. Whether I am in the height of joy Or in the depth of pain. Whether I am walking in the light of His fellowship Or hiding in the shadow of my sin

Whether reflecting His image to others Or reflecting a singful heart When nothing else in this world is sure Of this one thing I can always be sure His love will never fail me. God So Loves And neither death nor life Nor angels or heavenly rulers Nor things that are present Nor things to come Nor powers Nor height, nor depth Nor anything else in creation Will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 8:38) God, help me today and every day To remember the depth of your love for me. To realize that the gift of your Son is the pricless expression Of the most sacrificial, inseparable and eternal love for me. God help me today and every day To share this love with a world that feels so unlovable. A world in need of rescue. Thank you, God, for giving your only Son. Thank you, God, for so loving me. God So Loves www.skitguys.com PRAYERS OF THE PEOPLE POEMS AND QUOTATIONS Rev. Don Meekhof Walter Welch SCRIPTURE READINGS Galatians 6:1-8 (The Message) Kristen Robertson

1-3 Live creatively, friends. If someone falls into sin, forgivingly restore him, saving your critical comments for yourself. You might be needing forgiveness before the day s out. Stoop down and reach out to those who are oppressed. Share their burdens, and so complete Christ s law. If you think you are too good for that, you are badly deceived. 4-5 Make a careful exploration of who you are and the work you have been given, and then sink yourself into that. Don t be impressed with yourself. Don t compare yourself with others. Each of you must take responsibility for doing the creative best you can with your own life. 6 Be very sure now, you who have been trained to a selfsufficient maturity, that you enter into a generous common life with those who have trained you, sharing all the good things that you have and experience. 7-8 Don t be misled: No one makes a fool of God. What a person plants, he will harvest. The person who plants selfishness, ignoring the needs of others ignoring God! harvests a crop of weeds. All he ll have to show for his life is weeds! But the one who plants in response to God, letting God s Spirit do the growth work in him, harvests a crop of real life, eternal life. I Corinthians 13:1-8 (NIV) Bill Colvin If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. 2 If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. 3 If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing. 4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

8 Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. Galatians 5:22-23 (The Message) Jenna-Rae Welch 22-23 But what happens when we live God s way? He brings gifts into our lives, much the same way that fruit appears in an orchard things like affection for others, exuberance about life, serenity. We develop a willingness to stick with things, a sense of compassion in the heart, and a conviction that a basic holiness permeates things and people. We find ourselves involved in loyal commitments, not needing to force our way in life, able to marshal and direct our energies wisely. OFFERING OF OURSELVES & OUR GIFTS: Jenna-Rae Welch *Doxology Praise God from whom all blessings flow; Praise him, all creatures here below Praise him above ye heavenly host; Praise Father, Son and Holy Ghost. I ll be satisfied as long as I walk, let me walk close to thee. (REFRAIN) Just a closer walk with thee, grant it, Jesus, is my plea, daily walking close to thee: let it be, dear Lord, let it be. (VERSE 2) Through this world of toil and snares, if I falter, Lord, who cares? Who with me my burden shares? None but thee, dear Lord, none but thee. (REFRAIN) Just a closer walk with thee, grant it, Jesus, is my plea, daily walking close to thee: let it be, dear Lord, let it be. (VERSE 3) When my feeble life is o er, time for me will be no more; guide me gently, safely o er to thy kingdom shore, to thy shore. (repeat refrain)
