CONNECT CHURCH If you are visiting with us for the first time, WELCOME! We are glad it was your choice to worship Christ with us today. We hope this time of praise and the study of God s Word will be an encouragement for you. Please join us between services for refreshments and fellowship. I grew up in this church. I was in the Youth Group. It is a church I can trust with Biblical teaching not only for me, but for my three boys as well. I serve Jesus with you as your AV Tech Director, overseeing the tech duties which includes running the sound, handing the scheduling for tech volunteers, keeping the stage area presentable, assuring that all equipment is fully operational.

For additional ministry information visit CC.TODAY Church Life...You will be made rich in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion When we are faithful to give generously, we do a good service to God. As a result, He will come back to us for more. When He wants to distribute again in the future, He will remember us as capable partners. If a restaurant gives good service, it results in repeat business. The same applies to good stewards. God wants to give to you so that you can give to His work. And if you sow generously, then God is able to give you more and more. From Fields of Gold

God s Word - Time With God Today s SOAP from Pastor Sam Jay Scripture: Psalm 136:1-5 1 Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good. His love is eternal. 2 Give thanks to the God of gods. His love is eternal. 3 Give thanks to the Lord of lords. His love is eternal. 4 He alone does great wonders. His love is eternal. 5 He made the heavens skillfully. His love is eternal. Observation: The phrase "His love is eternal" is repeated twenty-six times in verses one through twenty-six. It has been said that repetition is the mother of all learning. If that is the case, God definitely wants us to know, understand, and not forget that His love for us is eternal. The psalmist draws attention to God as the Creator, God freeing the Israelite's from slavery, God's power over earthly kings, God's protection of His people, and God's provision for His people. From beginning to end, the psalmist exhorts the reader of the Psalm to give thanks to God for who God is and all the ways He demonstrates His love for us. Application: This Psalm shows us that God's love is constantly and consistently being displayed to us on a daily basis in many different ways. We are to give thanks to God daily for all of the ways he demonstrates His love to us on a daily basis. Prayer: Lord, thank you for who you are! Truly, there is no one like you! Your eternal love is demonstrated to me on a daily basis in new ways. Thank you for loving me even though I do nothing to merit that love. You are the very definition of mercy, love, kindness, and grace! Please forgive me for all of the times that I take your love for granted or come to you with a spirit of entitlement. You truly are my loving Father! In Jesus name, Amen. Scripture Observation Application Prayer S.O.A.P. Grab your Bible, a pen, and a notebook. Get ready to hear from God through His Word! Look for a verse that spoke to you. Write it down. Observation - Write your observation as to what is happening in the text. What do you believe is the point of the passage? Application - Ask yourself how this Scripture applies to your life right now. Write down how it can apply to you today. Prayer - This can be as simple as asking God to help you use this Scripture, or even a prayer for a greater insight on what He may be revealing to you. F Psalm 146:10 S Revelation 22:13 Main Passage for July 30 Psalm 146:1-10 HCSB Memory Verse: Psalm 146:6 The Maker of heaven and earth, the sea and everything in them. He remains faithful forever.
