W.O.W----Wings of Wisdom Senior Adult Ministry The February W.O.W. Luncheon was Tuesday, February 13 th, with approximately 55people in attendance. Very appropriately, our W.O.W. Luncheon coincided with FAT TUESDAY as the wonderful covered dishes of meats, vegetables, salads, breads and desserts were a special treat! A great devotion and love song sing-a-long was led by Tim Covert accompanied by his guitar. Abby Hambrick, backed up by her mom, Mandy Spivey provided a time of beautiful gospel love songs that told of the love that Jesus has for each and every one of us. As is often said, A Great Time Was Had By All! Next W.O.W. Seniors luncheon will be on Tuesday, March 13. Our own Bobby Kerlin will be sharing his vast knowledge of the rich history of South Fayette County. The meat and drinks will be furnished for the meal and the veggies, salads, breads and desserts will be covered dish style. April W.O.W. Luncheon will be at 12 Noon on April 10 th at Bay Breeze in Lovejoy GA. Bus will be provided for those who would like transportation. WMU would like to invite our ladies to join us the 4th Wednesday of every month @ 6:30 p.m. We discuss what local missions we would like to support and how to help others in and outside of our community. We are currently meeting in the Fellowship Hall and look forward to seeing you there! Dana McClung, WMU Director Lean On Me A Community Health Group Our group s mission is to encourage and support members as they strive to be healthier by providing information, education programs, and other helpful resources. Most importantly, we have fun and build lifelong friendships along the way. Lean On Me meets at Lisbon every Monday night in Room 106 downstairs. We meet from 6:00 p.m. 7:00 p.m. and would love for you to join us! If you have questions, please contact Elaine Appling or Toria Almand.
