Welcomes you to your Sabbath Service! Genesis 2:3 And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made. Mark 2:27, 28 And he said unto them, The Sabbath was made for man, and not man for the Sabbath: Therefore the Son of man is Lord also of the Sabbath. שמיני Eighth Sh mini Leviticus 9:1-11:47; 2 Samuel 6:1-7:17; Luke 7-9 Mark Moses 04/18/2015 Nisan 29, 5775 During service we take a 20 minute break at approximately 10:50AM. Celebration Part 1 (NKJV) Leviticus 9:1-4 It came to pass on the eighth day that Moses called Aaron and his sons and the elders of Israel. And he said to Aaron, Take for yourself a young bull as a sin offering and a ram as a burnt offering, without blemish, and offer them before the LORD. And to the children of Israel you shall speak, saying, Take a kid of the goats as a sin offering, and a calf and a lamb, both of the first year, without blemish, as a burnt offering, also a bull and a ram as peace offerings, to sacrifice before the LORD, and a grain offering mixed with oil; for today the LORD will appear to you. (NKJV) Leviticus 9:6 Then Moses said, This is the thing which the LORD commanded you to do, and the glory of the LORD will appear to you. (NKJV) Leviticus 9:22 - Then Aaron lifted his hand toward the people, blessed them, and came down from offering the sin offering, the burnt offering, and peace offerings. (NKVJ) Numbers 6:24-27 The LORD bless you and keep you; The LORD make His face shine upon you, And be gracious to you; The LORD lift up His countenance upon you, And give you peace. (NKJV) Leviticus 9:22-24 Then Aaron lifted his hand toward the people, blessed them, and came down from offering the sin offering, the burnt offering, and peace offerings. And Moses and Aaron went into the tabernacle of meeting, and came out and blessed the people. Then the glory of the LORD appeared to all the people, and fire came out from before the LORD and consumed the burnt offering and the fat on the altar. When all the people saw it, they shouted and fell on their faces. (NKJV) 1 Kings 18:38 Then the fire of the LORD fell and consumed the burnt sacrifice, and the wood and the stones and the dust, and it licked up the water that was in the trench. (NKJV) Exodus 30:9 - You shall not offer strange incense on it, or a burnt offering, or a grain offering; nor shall you pour a drink offering on it. (NKJV) Leviticus 10:1-3 Then Nadab and Abihu, the sons of Aaron, each took his censer and put fire in it, put incense on it, and offered profane fire before the LORD, which He had not commanded them. So fire went out from the LORD and devoured them, and they died before the LORD. And Moses said to Aaron, This is what the LORD spoke, saying: By those who come near Me I must be regarded as holy; And before all the people I must be glorified. So Aaron held his peace. (NKJV) Leviticus 10:8-11 Then the LORD spoke to Aaron, saying: Do not drink wine or intoxicating drink, you, nor your sons with you, when you go into the tabernacle of meeting, lest you die. It shall be a statute forever throughout your generations, that you may distinguish between holy and unholy, and between unclean and clean, and that you may teach the children of Israel all the statutes which the LORD has spoken to them by the hand of Moses. (NASB) Ezekiel 44:21, 23-24 Nor shall any of the priests drink wine when they enter the inner court. Moreover, they shall teach My people the difference between the holy and the profane, and cause them to discern between the unclean and the clean. In a dispute they shall take their stand to judge; they shall judge it according to My ordinances. They shall also keep My laws and My statutes in all My appointed feasts and sanctify My sabbaths. (NASB) 1 Thessalonians 5:5-8 for you are all sons of light and sons of day. We are not of night nor of darkness; so then let us not sleep as others do, but let us be alert and sober. For those who sleep do their sleeping at night, and those who get drunk get drunk at night. But since we are of the day, let us be sober, having put on the breastplate of faith and love, and as a helmet, the hope of salvation. (NASB) Ezekiel 44:6-17 You shall say to the rebellious ones, to the house of Israel, Thus says the Lord GOD, Enough of all your abominations, O house of Israel, when you brought in foreigners, uncircumcised in heart and uncircumcised in flesh, to be in My sanctuary to profane it, even My house, when you offered My food, the fat and the blood; for they made My covenant void this in addition to all your abominations. And you have not kept charge of My holy things yourselves, but you have set foreigners to keep charge of My sanctuary. 2

Thus says the Lord GOD, No foreigner uncircumcised in heart and uncircumcised in flesh, of all the foreigners who are among the sons of Israel, shall enter My sanctuary. But the Levites who went far from Me when Israel went astray, who went astray from Me after their idols, shall bear the punishment for their iniquity. Yet they shall be ministers in My sanctuary, having oversight at the gates of the house and ministering in the house; they shall slaughter the burnt offering and the sacrifice for the people, and they shall stand before them to minister to them. Because they ministered to them before their idols and became a stumbling block of iniquity to the house of Israel, therefore I have sworn against them, declares the Lord GOD, that they shall bear the punishment for their iniquity. And they shall not come near to Me to serve as a priest to Me, nor come near to any of My holy things, to the things that are most holy; but they will bear their shame and their abominations which they have committed. Yet I will appoint them to keep charge of the house, of all its service and of all that shall be done in it. But the Levitical priests, the sons of Zadok, who kept charge of My sanctuary when the sons of Israel went astray from Me, shall come near to Me to minister to Me; and they shall stand before Me to offer Me the fat and the blood, declares the Lord GOD. They shall enter My sanctuary; they shall come near to My table to minister to Me and keep My charge. It shall be that when they enter at the gates of the inner court, they shall be clothed with linen garments; and wool shall not be on them while they are ministering in the gates of the inner court and in the house. (NASB) Malachi 2:7 For the lips of a priest should preserve knowledge, and men should seek instruction from his mouth; for he is the messenger of the LORD of hosts. (NASB) 2 Peter 3:10-13 But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, in which the heavens will pass away with a roar and the elements will be destroyed with intense heat, and the earth and its works will be burned up. Since all these things are to be destroyed in this way, what sort of people ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness, looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be destroyed by burning, and the elements will melt with intense heat! But according to His promise we are looking for new heavens and a new earth, in which righteousness dwells. (NKJV) Revelation 1:5-6 and from Yeshua Ha Mashiach, the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler over the kings of the earth. To Him who loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood, and has made us kings and priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen. Celebration Part 2 (NASB) 2 Samuel 6:6-7 But when they came to the threshing floor of Nacon, Uzzah reached out toward the ark of God and took hold of it, for the oxen nearly upset it. And the anger of the LORD burned against Uzzah, and God struck him down there for his irreverence (haš-šal; ל ;(ה ש and he died there by the ark of God. 3

(NKJV) 2 Samuel 6:8 And David became angry [ ח רה charah - khä rä ] because of the LORD s outbreak [or breach - day. perets] against Uzzah; and he called the name of the place Perez Uzzah (the breach of Uzza) to this פ ר ץ (NKJV) 2 Samuel 6:9 David was afraid [ י ר א yare' - reverent fear ] of the LORD that day; and he said, How can the ark of the LORD come to me? (NKJV) 2 Samuel 6:14 Then David danced before the LORD with all his might; and David was wearing a linen ephod. 2 Samuel 7:1 God s Covenant with David (ESV) 2 Samuel 7:1 Now when the king lived in his house and the LORD had given him rest from all his surrounding enemies, (NKJV) Proverbs 16:7 When a man's ways please the LORD, He makes even his enemies to be at peace with him. (KJV) 2 SAMUEL 7:2-3 That the king said unto Nathan the prophet, See now, I dwell in a house of cedar, but the ark of God dwells within curtains. And Nathan said to the king, Go, do all that is in your heart; for the LORD is with you. (TLV) Matthew 1:1 The record of the genealogy of Yeshua he-mashiach, Ben- David, Ben Avraham: (TLV) Matthew 1:6 and Jesse fathered David the king. David fathered Solomon by the wife of Uriah Repairing the Breaches (TLV) Amos 9:11-12 In that day I will raise up David s fallen sukkah. I will restore its breaches [ פ רץ- perets ], raise up its ruins, and rebuild it as in the days of old - so they may possess the remnant of Edom (enemies) and all the nations (Gentiles) called by MY Name. It is a declaration of Adonai, the One who will do this. (TLV) Acts 15:16-18 - After this I will return and rebuild the fallen tabernacle of David. I will rebuild its ruins and I will restore it. So that the rest of humanity may seek the Lord - namely all the Gentiles who are called by My Name - says Adonai, who makes the things known from of old. (NKJV) Ezekiel 13:1-5 Then the word of the LORD came to me saying, Son of man, prophesy against the prophets of Israel who prophesy, and say to those who prophesy from their own inspiration, Listen to the word of the LORD! Thus says the Lord GOD, Woe to the foolish prophets who are following their own spirit and have seen nothing. 4

O Israel, your prophets have been like foxes among ruins. You have not gone up into the breaches, nor did you build the wall around the house of Israel to stand in the battle on the day of the LORD. (TLV) Psalm 106:23 So He commanded their extermination, had not Moses, his chosen one, stood in the breach before HIM, to turn His wrath from destroying them. (NKJV) Amos 4:3 You will go out through breaches in the walls, Each one straight before her, And you will be cast to Harmon, declares the LORD. (NASB) ISAIAH 58:11-12 And the LORD will continually guide you, And satisfy your desire in scorched places, And give strength to your bones; And you will be like a watered garden, And like a spring of water whose waters do not fail. Those from among you will rebuild the ancient ruins; You will raise up the age-old foundations; And you will be called the Repairer of the Breach, The restorer of the streets in which to dwell. 5

Best Practices Thank you for joining us today at El Shaddai Ministries! In order to bless and protect our congregation, we have put some guidelines in place and ask those attending to observe these to the best of their ability. Please return promptly and quietly to your seats after the break. Please turn cell phone off or set to vibrate. Parents please monitor your children and keep them from roaming the hallways or lobby area. They should be in class or seated with you. At the close of the service please take your items, i.e. notes etc. to respect the cleanliness of the Sanctuary. Please return any unmarked notes you do not wish to keep to the box at the back table. Please dress modestly so as not to be a distraction to others, and dress your best to honor God, and in respect of the Sabbath. ONEG (Potluck Lunch) It has been a long standing tradition at El Shaddai Ministries to fellowship together after the service every 2 nd Saturday by sharing a meal. El Shaddai Ministries provides all the beverages for the break and oneg. Please do not add items to the table.
