Lesson #8: A BROKEN PROMISE Read each statement carefully, and then write T (true) or F (false) on the line next to the question. 14. When the calf was done, Aaron called it god and invited the people to a worship feast. 17. God did not know what the people had done. 18. God gave Moses 2 Stone Tables with the 10 Commandments written with His finger. 19. Moses told God that he had to leave. 20. When Moses saw the wicked celebration he threw the stones down and they were broken. 21. God was angry with Moses for breaking the stones. 22. God was so very kind to forgive Aaron and those who truly repented. 23. The people that were slain refused to repent for their wickedness. 24. Moses ground up the calf to show the people that it had no power at all.

Nobody died because of the sin of the Golden Calf. 11. 3,000 people were killed that would not repent. 12. The tribe of Levi had all worshipped the calf.

The people that pigged out got sick and died. 20. We need to learn that God always knows best! 10. God had made a covenant with Israel and gave them His Laws. 11. God s Laws were harsh and exacting.
