Surah Al-e-Imran: Ayah 45-58 Page 1 Friday 7/11/14 Surah Al-e-Imran Ayah 45-53 The last lecture we read that Allah chose Maryam (RA) and gave her some tasks. Then we read that people drew lots (randomly picking names from a hat) to see who will take care (guardianship) or look after her. Is this allowed in Islam? Is drawing lots ok? Yes. Because when you have to make a decision between two parties or more and you don t want to be unjust. For example: If you have two homes and both are of the same value. You can draw lots to decide who should get which home from among your children. The Prophet used to draw lots to decide which wife he would take with him when he traveled. Because he couldn t take them all, so he did it this way to decide Its OK to draw lots to decide something as long as the result does not take someone s rights or cause a loss to someone. It should be that allows equal opportunity to everyone involved Also you were asked to memorize some duas. There was one particular dua that was for the relationship of the husband and wife. But some said that since we don t want any more kids, we didn t learn it. but if you analyze it, you ll see that this dua is not just for that. If you look at the dua, the first part of it says in the name of Allah so whatever is done or started in Allah s name, has barakah in it. then the dua asks Allah s protection from the shaitan. We see that in our lives, shaitan is everywhere so we ask for protection from him. Then the dua is asking for whatever we want for ourselves and what is good for us, give us that. It doesn t mean that its only for children. If more children are good for us that is what Allah will grant and we may not even know how good that child will be until later in life. Also we should think, did we have our children only from our own planning? How many of our kids were born without Allah s will? None of them. Its amazing how much confidence and faith we have in our planning. so if we abstain from doing this dua because we feel that we will have another child then we are letting shaitan WIN because he is keeping us from even saying the dua that will ask for protection from him. He us putting these thoughts in to your heads, You all do need to memorize the dua but if you chose to use it or not, its up to you.

Surah Al-e-Imran: Ayah 45-58 Page 2 So here we see that this delegation is here and the Prophet is reciting these ayah s in front of them. Why are we being told about Eesa and his family in such detail for up to 4 rukus. His mother, his father, his grandparents, what his mother ate, drank, how she dealt with the child s birth and what followed. Not even the Prophet is discussed in such detail in the Quran. Why? What is the hikmah? In the Quran not even one word is useless. There is a hikmah in every word written. The hikmah in discussing the Bani Israel also puzzled people but we should know now why. So what is the reason that 22 ayahs are dedicated to Prophet Eesa s life?? There is a big hikmah in it. The Prophet has given hidayah (guidance) to his ummah about all the coming trials for them. and has told them which things will affect their deen in a negative way, and there are things that will help us in later life which are discussed now in the Quran. There are people discussed in the Quran who will benefit us in the later life and among those people are Prophet Eesa who will rise again on the earth before the day of judgment. That time will be very harsh because the Dajjal will be here on earth. That will be the biggest fitna from the time of Adam till then so Prophet Eesa will come to kill the Dajjal. But if we don t know anything about Prophet Eesa, his signs of his coming, and who he is, how will we recognize him when he comes? How will we support and follow him when he comes if we don t know him? Also we need to recognize the signs of his coming and his signs so that an imposter cant claim to be Prophet Eesa. So these ayahs are not just for those who are doing dawah and tableegh, we all are responsible for promoting the deen and the most prevalent non-muslims among us are Christians. So even if we are not actively involved in Dawah, we should at least have the niyyah to do so. That is why Ummah of the Muslims are so honored because they have to pick up the work of the Prophets and spread the deen. AYAH 45: Allah send Gabriel to Maryam and gives her the news of the baby. Allah said Be and he was so that is why Prophet Eesa is also called Kalimatul Allah.. Also Allah tells her the name of the baby will be Eesa. Then Allah tells her that he will be a child of honor in the world. In our world, children born without fathers they are treated horribly. Allah knew how the Jews will chastise her

Surah Al-e-Imran: Ayah 45-58 Page 3 for this birth. So Allah is saying to her he will be honorable not even in the hereafter but in life also. Even his enemies did not insult him to his face. This was a great test for Maryam. Can you imagine if any girl was having a baby out of marriage and she was a pious girl (we can not even get close to her piety). Then Allah tells her he will be very close to Allah. Not all Prophets are equal. 5 are the ones who are at the top & given the highest status and closest to Allah: Prophet Nuh, Prophet Ibrahim, Prophet Musa, Prophet Eesa and Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) So Allah is saying to her the baby will be: 1. Kalimah tul Allah 2. Honorable in both worlds 3. He will be among those very close to Allah How can we get close to Allah? Allah says do sajdah and you will be close to Allah. Those who do their farth deeds and then do their Nawafil deeds Those who are always ahead in doing good deeds. They don t wait for things to do them. they run towards doing good deeds. They strive to be the role models for others. AYAH 46: Allah says he will speak to the people as a baby. This is another miracle of Allah. This so that the baby can testify to the honor of his mother. Otherwise, who will believe it? 3 babies talked as infants: 1. Prophet Eesa 2. Juraij had a baby who talked. He was cursed by his mother that may he be in a relationship with a woman. Later he was accused of fathering a child with a woman and that is when Allah performed a miracle and that baby testified that Juraij was not his father. 3. From among the people of khandak there was a baby who told his mother to jump into the fire So when Prophet Eesa talked, the ulamahs and big scholars were amazed that he could do this.

Surah Al-e-Imran: Ayah 45-58 Page 4 This is all being told to Maryam prior to the birth to console her. For any woman, the most precious thing is her honor and specially a pious woman like this. Allah said he will talk as a baby and in manhood (when his hair has turned white around 40). Why did Allah say this? What is the big deal in talking in our adulthood? Because at the age of about 33, Prophet Eesa was taken from the earth so he never reached the age of around 40. From this ayah we know that he will return to the earth later to speak to us in his forties like he spoke in childhood. So this is hinting at his return to us. And he will be of the sualiheen. Prophets used to pray that they be among the Sualiheen on the Day of Judgment, that will be a separate group. AYAH 47: Maryam (even though she is talking to an angel, but she addresses Allah. That is a testament to the close relationship the pious have to Allah) she says oh Allah how can I have a child when no man has touched me? Nor have I been married. This should tell us how the pious women protected their honor they did not have relations or friendships with any men. So she is not doubting Allah, she is asking how will this happen? Allah says Allah creates what he wills. When he has decided something all he has to say is be and it is Every human has a part of their father and a part of their mother that come together to create them. in Maryam, Allah had put both of those components to create Eesa. Adam and Hawah were born without parents so why not this birth? For Allah nothing is impossible. If we had true faith that Allah only needs to say be and things can happen, we would never be depressed, anxious. We have to know and believe nothing is impossible for Him. When Gabriel came to her, he came in the form of a human man. She was afraid and said to him by Allah, don t come near me she had never been so close to a man like this. He said to her I have been sent by Allah to you to give you news of a baby she said how can this be when no one has touched me?. She was so conscious of this that when a stranger was near her when she was alone, how does she react to it? how does she attempt to protect her honor?

Surah Al-e-Imran: Ayah 45-58 Page 5 Can you imagine the state she was in? being all alone, being unmarried, and having a baby. Even the dirty women are afraid to have a child, so how does pious Meryem feel? So Gabriel says this will happen but it is very easy for Allah and we will make this a sign for the people and this is an example of Allah s rahmah So she accepted it and went far away in isolation. This was a very hard trial for her, so much so that at the time of labor, in pain, scared for her honor, alone, she said I wish I would have died before this happened to me then a reply came from Allah for you there is rahmah. Shake this palm tree and nourishing dates will fall from it for you. And if you encounter anyone, tell them you are fasting for the sake of Allah. She did what her Lord commanded then after the baby was born she took Prophet Eesa to the people. They said Meryem! You have done something terrible and disgraceful! Your parents were both very pious and how can you do this? We should never put ourselves in such a situation that shaitan can put thoughts in anyone s head about our character and honor. Don t do things that will cause people to question your honor, we should never be in a situation where you are alone with a man, because that is where shaitan comes for sure. If there is a situation where your piety is questioned, so for your defense, speak up but if it doesn t work, leave it up to Allah. Like when Aisha (RA) was accused, things went spreading like wildfire. She didn t just say I don t care what people and what they think no, we should protect our piety in the sigh of people always. So, when people questioned her, Meryem pointed to her baby. The baby spoke, I am a slave of Allah. He didn t say son of Allah! He said he has sent me down. I will pray, fast, pay zakat and obey all of the commands of Allah as long as I am on this earth. I have been created to serve my mother. So this is what is told about the birth of Prophet Eesa in Surah Meryem. So this is a miracle from Allah that we all know about. But we should have this iman (yaqeen) in Allah s ability to anything in our daily lives. Why do we doubt Allah can do anything else? When we accept that He can create this miraculous birth then why do we doubt that He can fix anything in our lives? We should have this yaqeen without a doubt all the time in His ability. The Jews always rejected this. They were suspicious of Allah s creation and ability. They said it was impossible. But for Allah nothing is impossible.

Surah Al-e-Imran: Ayah 45-58 Page 6 When we do dua we should say Allah you only have to say be and it is so please say be to this what I am asking from you AYAH 49: Here Allah is telling another characteristic of Prophet Eesa. That Allah will give him a book, meaning teach him to write. Also the knowledge of the past books and he will be granted wisdom beyond the deen and the books. He will be given the reasons for the hikmah of what Allah will do. Prophet Eesa was so brilliant that he could recite verses of the Taurat and Injil to the scholars of these books. So this made them go against him because they felt he was correcting them. In the Taurat there were commands, and in the Injil the hikmah behind the commands was revealed. So the message was not different. So here the word Taurat means the book and the word Injil is referring to the knowledge of the hikmah. AYAH 49: And he will be a messenger to the Children of Israel. Notice here, Allah didn t say he will be a messenger to his people because for Prophet Eesa to be from among those people, his father would have to be one of them and he didn t have a father. He was sent to Bani Israel, not to the whole creation. Today the Christians go around promoting their religion to the world but the religion was not sent to the whole world, He was sent only to their people. So they are promoting their religion all over the world and today, Christianity is the most prevalent religion in the world. But who was sent to promote the religion to the world? Muslims. And we are sleeping while they are busy doing dawah of a message that was not even sent for the people around the world. From here he has become a young man. At the age of 30 he received the message. From now Eesa is talking to the people. Saying I have brought miracles from your lord: I will create a bird like figure out of clay and blow into it and it will become alive and fly away by Allah s doing this was very important because he wanted to make sure they understood that this was a miracle from Allah not from himself. But the Christians took the words when he said by Allah s doing out of their books.

Surah Al-e-Imran: Ayah 45-58 Page 7 There is a difference between a Rasool and a Nabi. Every Rasool is a Nabi but only certain Nabi s are Rasool. It s the same as saying every Muslim is a human but not all humans are not Muslim s. There are many differences between Nabi and Rasools but one of them is that a Nabi can be killed/murdered but a Rasool cannot. Prophet Yahya was a Nabi that is why he was murdered. Zakariah was a Nabi and he was murdered. Many other Nabi s were murdered. But a Rasool cannot be killed. When the murder of the Prophet was being plotted, Allah got him out of there. When the people try to kill Prophet Eesa, Allah will protect him as well. And later the towns of those people were destroyed. So Prophet Eesa had such significant miracles that he brought that even with the advanced science we have today no one can bring anything to life. Only Allah can do it. And it was done so that people would believe that Prophet Eesa as indeed sent by Allah. Why this miracle, why not a different one? In those days the people had very popular medicine men so it was a big part of their culture like science and media is big in our time. So at that time medicine men were very popular so Allah sent miracles that were relevant to them like bringing things to life, healing the sick and so on. At the time of Prophet Mohammad, language and poetry was a big tradition and valued so Allah sent the miracle of the Quran with him. At the time of Prophet Musa, the magic and magician were very popular concepts so Allah gave him the type of miracles that would fit that genre. So Eesa continued to tell his miracles. I will cure the ones born blind and the one who is a lepers. Both of these conditions had no cures. And I can bring to life the dead all by Allah s doing. He was very clear in that every time he revealed a miracle. In one days time, up to 50,000 people used to come to him to get cured and he would cure them. Allah has made certain things a way to accomplish other things. Like a seed is needed to grow a plant but that doesn t mean that Allah cannot grow a plant without a seed. That would mean Allah is dependent on the seed to grow the plant.

Surah Al-e-Imran: Ayah 45-58 Page 8 Just like that, Allah created Prophet Eesa. And Prophet Eesa was the way that Allah showed the people His miracles. Prophet Eesa brought 4 people to life in his lifetime: Aazer. He was a friend of Prophet Eesa. When he was about to die, his sister sent a message to Prophet Eesa that his friend is dying. They were traveling to go see Prophet Eesa but the trip was three days long so by the time they reached there, he was already dead and the people buried him before Prophet Eesa could help him. His sister informed him what happened so Prophet Eesa asked her to take him to the gravesite. Prophet Eesa prayed to Allah and the man stood up and lived a long life and children. An old lady s son was being taken to be buried. His body was laying on a bed and being carried by people. They passed Prophet Eesa and he made dua. The man sat up, got dressed, got down from the peoples shoulders, put the bed on his neck and carried it home. He lived a long life and had children. A mans daughter died and Prophet Eesa made dua for her and she also became alive. Same way, Saam Bin Nuh, the son of Prophet Nuh. Prophet Eesa went to his grave and prayed and brought him back to life also by the doing of Allah. Saam came out of his grave and half of his head was white (those days people didn t have white hair). He asked has the Day of Judgment come? Prophet Eesa said No you were brought back to prove the miracle of Allah. Now you can die so Saam said I ll die again under one condition that Allah protects me from the pain of death Allah accepted his dua and he died again. From this we learn how severe the pain of death is. Another miracle of Prophet Eesa was that he could tell who ate what and what they had stored at their homes. He would tell people to go home because their families had eaten such and such and hidden such and such things. The kids would go home and cry for the food the parents had hidden and the parents would give it to them. they would ask the child who told you this was hidden here? The child would say Eesa. So after this people started to say he is a magician! and those days the punishment for magicians was death. Eesa said to them these are all signs of your Lord for you if you are believers.

Surah Al-e-Imran: Ayah 45-58 Page 9 This was a time where for Bani Israel the carrying out of rituals was most important but they did not have iman. They rejected His message and were cruel to his creations. Just as we are today. For these type of people, nothing will convince them no matter how big the miracles and signs are. That s the reason Prophet Eesa said IF you are believers. Those who are true believers see Allah s proof in every small miracle. AYAH 50: Another miracle was that he said I have come to confirm what was in the Taurat (not the Taurat they had now after changing it but the original) and I came to verify what is in it. And so I can make lawful for you those things which have been made haram. Some things were made haram for them by Allah due to their sins. As a punishment for the sins of man, Allah makes some blessings haram on them. the types of diseases they get make those blessings forbidden for them just as they were haram for them. in those people where sins become common, they start to get such diseases. Also, their own Rabbi s and soothsayers had made some things haram for them to prove their piety. People do this to prove how pious they are so they think not wearing good clothes, eating good food will prove their piety. This is wrong. the authority to make anything halal or haram is only with Allah. No one can do this based on what country you live in, what circumstances we are living in. did Allah not know which countries and what kind of atmospheres we would be living in later? Alcohol, gambling, and interest are all haram but we rename it and make it halal. People say interest is a part of life here, music is the food for the soul, gambling is only a game.and make excuses for our making these things halal. The Prophet said near the day of Judgment, people will change the names of things and make them halal for them. Later we will learn that making things halal and haram is a type of shirk. If we take those things which are the sole right of Allah and give those rights to others, then we are committing shirk. Just like this, we make things that are allowed by Allah for us into haram. Who are we do to this? When you have taqwa you fear Allah and stay away from this, but when taqwa is no longer in our hearts, this is what starts to happen.

Surah Al-e-Imran: Ayah 45-58 Page 10 Prophet Eesa continues to day I bring a proof for you. Here he could be talking about the ayah s of the Injil. Before, he was talking about the miracles he was showing them from Allah. So fear Allah and obey me, he directed them. this is what every Nabi and Rasool told their people and what people always forget to fear Allah, fear Allah, fear Allah. When the fear of Allah is gone, then all the other things become easy. Changing the books, rejecting the Prophets, making things haram and halal. Surah Al-e-Imran ayah 32 we are told obey (follow) Allah and his Rasool and if you don t, Allah does not have any love for the Kufars so this means that if we don t follow them & do what they are saying we are committing kufr. Just believing in them is not enough. To follow and obey is a requirement for us, its not a choice. AYAH 51: Allah is my lord and yours. This is the straight path, Prophet Eesa never said he is the Rab. The Prophets of Allah connected people to Allah so the scholars of Allah should do the same. They should not ask people to attach themselves to the scholar himself, if he does that, you should know he/she is a fraud. They shouldn t say they are the path to Allah for us. They should direct everyone to establish a direct connection with Allah. We ask that Allah guide us to follow the straight path so if we know that to be a slave of Allah is the straight path, then we should be a slave of Allah. A slave is owned by someone else, he eats, drinks, works, sleeps due to their masters will. Do we consider ourselves anyone s slave? Or do we say we are free to make our own choices? Does our lifestyle show that someone else is the master of us? Our lives don t say we are slaves of Allah, our lives show that we are free and practice free will. Think about it. AYAH 52: When Prophet Eesa sensed the kufr among them and he figured out that these people were not to listen and they started to do propaganda against Prophet Eesa. Some of them even started to call him the son of Allah.

Surah Al-e-Imran: Ayah 45-58 Page 11 Why would they not believe? Because they wanted people to follow the deen the way we had presented it to them after distorting it. So now they started to put forth obstacles in front of Prophet Eesa. All the Prophets suffered greatly in the path of Allah. They and their families went through unfathomable pain. When we read the seerah, we see that women and children used to scream out of hunger. They had to eat leaves. Before the caravans would bring food, the Kufars would say we will buy all of your goods, don t sell it to these people These days we hear a few comments from people and we give up and stop. Every Prophet starts the dawah of the deen alone in the beginning. Then later when they faced opposition they asked others to help them to promote the message. So Prophet Eesa did the same. He asked who will help me? The people named hawarri said we will help you. They were clothes washers by profession, they were very clean peoples. The people who stood with Prophet were called Hawarrian. Just as the people who were with the Prophet Mohammad were called Sahabi. They said we are helpers of Allah. Those who do Allah s work are called Allah s helpers, but Allah does not need help. Just as we say Bait Ul Allah for his house *(even though Allah is not bound by anything like a house) we say this as a sign of respect. So those called the helpers of Allah are not helping Him, they are with Allah. When it was time for Hajj, the Prophet asked who will help me and give me shelter so I may spread the word of Allah? the Quraish had refused and cast him out. That is when the Prophet met the Ansar of Madinah. It was during hajj when the Prophet was giving a talk and they heard him and they remembered that the Jews had said a Prophet will come and they decided that they will believe before the Jews. They became believers and the following year, they brought more people close to 70. The prophet read them the verses and their hearts filled with Iman and they asked the Prophet to come live with them in Madinah. Prophet asked them if they will help in his cause to spread the word and take in the followers he had currently as well & treat them well? They asked, if we do this, what will we get? The Prophet answered Jannah. to this they said then we are ready to do what you asked and we will never leave you. But tell us, will you ever leave us? the

Surah Al-e-Imran: Ayah 45-58 Page 12 Prophet said no. my life and my death will be with you! Allah provided the Prophet such beautiful companions. Later in Hunnain when the Prophet had distributed the goods to everyone, these companions did not get anything. So they were disappointed and felt bad. When the Prophet found out how they were feeling, he asked them, Is it not better that everyone takes the possessions of this dunya and you take the Prophet of Allah with you? So they started to cry and said for us this is sufficient. They did stand with the Prophet till the end. And kept their word. The title of Allah s helper is a big honor that Allah s given to those who do His work. We get so happy when we get a good job in a big company, think about this job that we can do for Allah! What a great job would that be? What job can be better? When everyone is working towards the pleasure of Allah to promote His word, there will be no fighting or disagreements. Any organization where there are fighting and people getting hurt that happens when we sway from the goal of pleasing only Allah with our work. We have to keep evaluating, are we worthy of the title Ansar Allah? Being the helper of Allah is motivation enough for us. So how do we help Allah? To help the Rasool of Allah. But today there is no Rasools so what do we do now? We should help those who are inviting people to the true deen and we will be Ansar Allah. As we spend money on our personal expenses, we can spend towards promoting Allah s deen and that is being Ansar Allah. Just as we plan out other events in our lives, weddings, graduations, studies, we should plan to spread the deen and that is Ansar Allah. Not everyone can do everything. Some sahabahs had some strengths and others had different strengths. Some were soldiers for Allah and others were students of the deen. Whatever we are good at, we should use that to promote the deen. We should constantly be in the thought.what can I use from my strengths to promote Allah s deen? So Eesa was alone and he found 12 very good companions in the Hawarriyun.

Surah Al-e-Imran: Ayah 45-58 Page 13 When we pledge allegiance to someone, we use that person s status and position to promote our own. But Prophet Eesa had no status with people at this time so the Hawwarriyyun agreed to join him solely for the sake of helping Allah. They said we are Muslims and we submit to Allah. AYAH 53: They are saying to Allah that they believe in Allah, follow the Prophet Eesa and asking Allah to write their names among those to testify. In their bible and Injil there was mention of the Prophet Mohammad s coming and his companions and that they would bear witness to the true deen. So they were asking Allah to write their name with and group them with the sahabahs. They copied Prophet Eesa, suffered alongside him, gave up the worldly pleasures. And even after the Prophet Eesa was gone, they continued to promote the word. AYAH 54: So the people of the time were against the Prophet Eesa and they went to the king and started to fill his ears with poison against Prophet Eesa. So the King ordered that Prophet Eesa be strung up. But Allah had his own plan and He would not leave his helpers alone. AYAH 55: Allah said to Prophet Eesa I will make you sleep and raise you to Myself and clear the statement that Eesa is Allah s son. Based on this ayah there are many sects that have formed. Qaidiyani s who are not Muslims say that here Allah is saying that Prophet Eesa is dead and later He will send someone else. And they believe that the Prophet Eesa is buried in Kashmir and the person who will come will be their prophet later. Among the Huwwarriyun there as a traitor and he was working for the kings men. They did not know who is Prophet Eesa so he said I will address him by saying Oh Majesty so they will know. He went inside to see Prophet Eesa and the kings soldiers were waiting outside.

Surah Al-e-Imran: Ayah 45-58 Page 14 At that time, Allah took Prophet Eesa, body and soul, from the earth and brought him up to Allah. And one of the miracles of Allah was that the traitor entered the house and his face changed to resemble Prophet Eesa. When he came out with the rest of the Huwarriyun addressed him as majesty so the soldiers grabbed him and put a crown of thorns on his head, & strung him up. But there was confusion at this time that the face of the man was of Prophet Eesa but the body was not like his. Because this was not Prophet Eesa. Allah had plucked Prophet Eesa out from among them before they could harm him. There other Prophets who were commanded to do Hijrah, to other places during their Prophethood. Saleh, Hud, Shuaib were all Rasools who were commanded to leave their places. And later their people were destroyed. Prophet Eesa s Hijrah was to the heavens. But what about the people who tried to kill him? When will they be destroyed? When he returns. Prophet said that time each rock and tree will reveal the location of the Jews and ask that he be killed. All the trees except one tree which will not speak. That is the tree that will give them a hiding place behind it. In Israel that type of tree has been planted all over the country. Because even in their books the coming of the Prophet Eesa is written. People say no where in the Quran does it say that Prophet Eesa will return. But there are more than a hundred Hadith that say it will happen. They are sahih hadith. So if you deny hadith that is a bigger problem. Allah says to Prophet Eesa here that I will cleanse you of all those rumors that they spread about you. And I will make those who believed in you superior to the ones that did not. So Allah is telling him that those who denied you will always be inferior to the ones who accepted you. This has two meanings: Today we see that if it was not for the support of the western Christian countries, Israel and the Jews would never be able to keep a Jewish state even. So the Jews are inferior and in need of the Christians.

Surah Al-e-Imran: Ayah 45-58 Page 15 This also means that when Prophet Eesa returns, those who supported him, Allah will give them control and status power over those who do Kufr (jews). That includes the Christians that believed him and Muslims also. Prophet said between the time of Eesa and me there is no prophet. And to my Ummah he will be a khalifah when he returns. When you see him you will recognize him, he has a light pink complexion, his hair will be straight and sleek, He will lead the Muslims, fight the non-believers, justly distribute wealth in his time the Dajjal will be killed. There will be peace on the whole earth. He will live on earth for 40 years until the Muslims bury him. Allah is saying to Prophet Eesa, then you will return to me and I will decide the matters between you in which you used to dispute. AYAH 56: For those who disbelieved they will be tortured in this world and in the hereafter for eternity. Those who have Iman, whatever punishment he received in the dunya, he does not get it again in the akhirah, but for the kafir, they will get punishment in both. People say but they are not being punished at all, but we have to remember punishment is not only physical it can be mental, emotional as well. They have had things like the holocaust and other disasters in the dunya as well. AYAH 57: Allah continues to say as for those who believe and have Iman and do good deeds, they will get full credit for it. Allah does not like the zalimoun (the ones who tried to kill him) They will get full ajar but it will be equal to the efforts they made. AYAH 58: Allah is telling the Prophet all this with hikmah. This is a proof of the Risalat of the Prophet because there is no way the Prophet Mohammad could have known all this detail of what happened. There are still many many hadith to cover we will discuss them next time.
