In case you are prevented to do so due to conditions of war or hostility, then send the animals for sacrifice as may be conveniently available. c. Do not shave your heads (injunction is for males only) until your animals have reached the slaughtering place; this is done at Mina on the tenth day of Dhul-Jijja, after spending the previous day at the plain of Arafat. d. But if any one of you is ill or suffers from an ailment of the head or scalp and is not able to have the head shaved, e. One must then redeem oneself by fasting or by giving away alms or by offering a sacrifice. f. In case, one lacks the means to do so, then let one keep fast for three days during the Hajj period and for seven more days upon one's return to the normal place of residence; that is, ten days in all. h. This is incumbent upon the persons whose families do not reside within the municipal limits of the Masjid al-haraam/city of Makkah. i. Stay mindful of ALLAH's decrees! j.
