Moving forward with Hope Alex s story Alex, a missionary to the Amazon, was burdened to share Christ with the river communities but his requests were repeatedly denied. Community leaders resisted any evangelical influence. Recently, Alex heard about a school teacher who uses a solarpowered mp3 player to air our Portuguese Hope For The Heart radio program over the school s loud speaker each morning. The mp3 player piqued the interest of community leaders they wanted one! Alex offered to provide each home with a player in exchange for allowing him to share Christ in their local settings. They agreed! Now, Alex freely shares the gospel in the Amazon communities. Alex is just one of many stories we hear each month as a testament to our International team. We praise God for using this arm of the ministry to spread biblical hope and practical help around the world and for our generous supporters, who make this work possible.
