4 Unit 1 All: In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen. Leader: Let us give thanks to God who has created us. All: Lord, you have looked for me and you have found me. Group A: Wherever I go you follow. Before I speak, Lord, you know what I say. Group B: Your presence brings me peace. The mystery of who you are fills me with wonder. Group A: Where can I turn from your grace? If I wander beyond the farthest lands, Group B: Your hand is there to guide me And keep me safe along the way. All: Lord, you have looked for me and you have found me. [adapted from Psalm 139] Leader: Let us spend a moment resting in the peace that God s presence brings and give thanks that he keeps us safe. (Pause.) We pray in Jesus name.

4 Unit 2 Leader: Let us begin by praying together. In the name of the Father, and We praise God, who shines on every heart. Reader: A reading from the First Letter of Peter. [1 Peter 4:11] The Word of the Lord. All: Thanks be to God. Leader: Trusting in God s love for us, let us offer our prayers of petition. For those who long for justice and fairness, we pray to the Lord. Leader: For those who work for peace, that we follow their example, we pray to the Lord. Leader: Father, you know what we need even before we ask. Hear these prayers and the prayers of our hearts. We pray through Jesus, your Son, and with your Holy Spirit.

4 Unit 3 We bless the Lord who is with us. Reader: A reading from the holy Gospel according to Luke. [Luke 15:7] Leader: Trusting in God s forgiveness, we offer our prayers of petition. That we always will be mindful of God s presence in our lives, we pray to the Lord. Leader: That we may receive the grace to forgive and to ask for forgiveness of others, we pray to the Lord. Leader: Merciful God, you know what we need even before we ask. Hear these prayers and the prayers of our hearts. We pray through Jesus, your Son, and with your Holy Spirit.

4 Unit 4 We praise God, who enlightens every heart, now and forever. Reader: A reading from the holy Gospel according to Mark. [Mark 11:25] Leader: A clean heart create for me, God; renew in me a steadfast spirit. Group A: Wash away all my guilt. Group B: From my sin cleanse me. Group A: Restore my joy in your salvation. Group B: Sustain in me a willing spirit. [adapted from Psalm 51] Leader: Jesus, we pray that as your light shines for all, may it shine in our hearts as well.

4 Unit 5 Praise God, who enlightens every heart, now and forever. Reader: A reading from the holy Gospel according to Mark. [Mark 12:30 31] Leader: Trusting in God s love for us, we offer our prayers of petition. That we may strive to keep the Ten Commandments, we pray to the Lord. Leader: That we follow the examples of our family members and Church leaders, we pray to the Lord. Leader: That we heed God s voice and hold fast to him, we pray to the Lord. Leader: God, you know we want to honor you with our words and deeds. Hear these prayers and the prayers of our hearts. We ask this through Christ, our Lord.
