Sabbath School, December 9, 2017, 9:00 A.M. Welcome and thank you to our guest(s) for choosing to worship with us here at the Hayward Seventh-day Adventist Church. We are delighted that you have chosen to honor our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ with us today on His holy Sabbath. May this Sabbath service be a blessing to you and to our Lord, and may your heart be filled with joy and gladness. The three angels of Revelation 14 represent the people who accept the light of God s messages and go forth as His agents to sound the warning throughout the length and breadth of the earth. Christ declares to His followers: Ye are the light of the world. {Matthew 5:14, Counsels for the Church, 58.5} \ The Church at Study ADULT SABBATH SCHOOL (9:00 10:40) Chorister Melota Toma Superintendent s Welcome Elder Norman Reitz Opening Hymn* The First Noel Hymn No. 118 Scripture & Prayer* Luke 2: 8-14 Elder Norman Reitz Superintendent s Remarks Elder Norman Reitz Classes Study (9:40 10:30) Salvation by Faith Alone THE BOOK OF ROMANS Lesson 10: Children of the Promise Closing Comments Elder Norman Reitz Closing Hymn* God Rest Ye Merry Gentleman (Insert) Closing Prayer* Elder Norman Reitz Pianist: Aaron Ladub Greeters: Bob & Nancy Hackbarth Sanctuary Flowers: Provided to offer All Glory, Honor and Praise to Jesus Christ Our King! This Sabbath December 9, 2017 2017 Officer and Volunteer Update First Reading: Sabbath School Assistant Secretaries: - Jerry Corpuz - Tency Franco - Elizabeth Nyaundi - Godnere St. Croix God s Treasure Chest We stand on the threshold of great and solemn events. Prophecy is fast fulfilling. A new life is descending from on high and taking possession of God s people. Some souls will have to advance fast or they will have to be left far behind in darkness. The judgment is hastening. The Word of God is rebuking, warning, and entreating men to reach the Bible standard, but Satan has brought about such a condition of things in our churches that it will be most difficult to bring them to their senses and arouse them to see their God-given responsibilities. If they will with real contrition of heart confess their sins, they may, through watchfulness and prayer, come off conquerors. (October 8, 1885) par. 23 (Manuscript 3, 1885)
