Arrive Yangon. On arrival in Yangon this afternoon, you ll be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel. Upon arrival at Heho airport, be met by your driver and transfer to the picturesque Ayetharyar Winery. After a delicious lunch, head to Nyaung Shwe Jetty and transfer to your hotel in Inle Lake. Famed for its wetland ecosystem and home to many migratory birds, Inle Lake is home to the Inthas, the name given to the local people that live in this region, meaning sons of the lake. This region is famous for the way Inthas propel their boats using their leg as an oar (known as the one-legged rowers). After lunch, visit Indein on the western banks of the lake, where you will have the perfect opportunity to explore the great historical treasure of the Indein Ruins and hundreds of Shan-style stupas on the hillside. In the late afternoon, enjoy some free time at your leisure to further explore. BLD Day 6. Inle Lake, Mandalay. This morning, embark on a sightseeing adventure with perhaps a visit to the Silverware Cottage at Ywama Village. Then, see the famous Phaung Taw Oo Pagoda and the weaving village of Inn Paw Khon, famous for its silk-weaving industry. Other options include visiting a blacksmith s cottage and a cheroot cigar-making house. After a delicious lunch at Intha Heritage, be driven back to your hotel and transfer to Heho airport for your included flight to Mandalay, where you will transfer to your hotel on arrival. Enjoy a tantalising dinner at A Little Bit of Mandalay restaurant this evening. Two Night Stay: Mandalay Hotel. BLD Day 7. Mandalay. Rise early for an enticing breakfast, then head out on a morning walking tour of Mandalay s main markets, the famous Zegyo Market. Here, explore its amazing food stalls, jewellers, fabric shops and herbal remedies.
