Jackie Rentz gave an inspiring program about her recent trip to South Dakota, where she enjoyed the beautiful artwork of a local Christian artist, who paints murals in his town for charities and churches. She also shared with the group the needs in Nicaragua for clay pots to filter water for drinking. Each pot cost $26. All donations from the congregation will be accepted. Mark your offering "Clay Pots" and enclose $26. These Clay Pots will purify their drinking water and will last the families 6 years. Todd and Jackie will take the money when they go on the mission trip in February. Jackie also has a personal fundraiser of crocheted "Prayer Bears" which she sells and uses the money for needs in Nicaragua. The Senior Citizens meeting was held at Trinity on October 11 with Beth, Beverly, Carol, and Grethe planning and serving.
