The genuine love and concern the Redhead showed for everyone she was blessed to meet reflected the radiant love of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She touched thousands of lives with her thoughtful kindness, heartfelt hugs and joyous laughter. She was incredibly proud and grateful for her children, grandchildren, and entire family and never missed a chance to tell them so. Her greatest role in life was telling people about her Jesus, followed closely by her love for, belief in, and support of her husband Zig Ziglar who touched millions of lives through his speaking, audio recordings, and books. The world would never have heard of Zig Ziglar if it hadn't been for the Redhead. Jean Ziglar will forever be the Legend behind the Legacy of Zig Ziglar. You popped in my head after all these years and breaks my heart I didnt get to give you a hug! I barely missed you as my eyes are tearing up. My favorite memory is the night "The Encouragers" class held a bible study at your house. Of course I was late, rang the doorbell and disturbed entire class. You answered the door laughing grabbing my arm giggling saying you can just walk in. I said Jean this is Texas I cant walk into someones house I will get shot. Everyone in living room with scowls on faces as we walk to kitchen. Jean always laughed hugged grabbing my arm when she saw me. Now I'm crying as I'm writung this. There will never be anyone like you and I wish I spent more time and pray I can bring a smile to your face in Heaven. You always made me feel like family at church. Life is just too short. AMY SIMS, AUGUST 5, 2018 I pray for the Ziglar family as they grieve. I feel like I ve been a remote part of this marvelous family through all the books, tapes, and cd s that Zig has shared with me through those incredible resources. And in learning about Zig, one learns of Jean, lovingly referred to as The Redhead. God bless the entire Ziglar family. Part of you lives in me. REGGIE JONES, AUGUST 1, 2018 We will miss your smile, sweet hugs and kind words. So happy to have you as part of our life these past six years. We will dearly miss you. DAVID & KAROL OHMAN, JULY 31, 2018 God, it is not how long we live that counts, but how beautifully we live that matters. Help us to remember that it is what we give to life more than its duration that adds eternal significance to our existence. Thank you for the treasured memories that will forever enrich our lives because of whom You have called to live and love with You. We place Jean now into Your loving hands. Help us to make our lives more dedicated, more joyful, more giving, so
that through a life beautifully lived, we may express our gratitude for the longer years You have given us. Amen. The Ziglar family has forever changed my life and I am so graitful for Zig, Jean and the Ziglar family. God bless you all. Your Brother Don Martinez, ZLC DON MARTINEZ, JULY 31, 2018 Jean was the most gracious, loving, unpretentious, beautiful friend anyone could ever ask for. Her testimony and love for Jesus was expressed through her most beautiful countenance and love for people. We will forever be grateful to God for allowing us to be a part of her life, to share Jesus together and delight in her "banana pudding"! What a joy to have shared life with her. She will be missed. We are blessed and the richer for knowing her. DUANE & SUSAN YOUNG, JULY 30, 2018 To the Ziglar Family, Jean, The Lovely Redhead, will forever live in our hearts as we got to know her through the loving stories Zig shared with people around the world!! FLOR MAZEDA, JULY 30, 2018 We've all lost a most unique, beloved friend. She will brighten 'life' in a new surrounding. God bless our Jean. Zig and Jean are back together again. BEN GREENFIELD, JULY 30, 2018 What an inspiration she had on the world. May she rest in eternal peace with Zig. RICH WINTERS, JULY 30, 2018 Jean was a beautiful lady! She was always "Better Than Good" and it made me feel so wonderful knowing I would see her every day at The Legacy! She ALWAYS had a smile on her face!! We will miss Jean dearly, but know she is with her Zig again! One other thought, Jean always asked about my family. In particular my son Brandon, who has known Jean since he was 10 years old and at the age of 16 obtained a job in the dining room. He would love waiting
on her because she was always so kind. He is now 18 and a few weeks away from college. Jean has made such a wonderful impact on Brandon's life. I will be ever so grateful to her for the impression she made upon him! LISA HARRIS, JULY 30, 2018 Dear Ziglar family, Becky and I send our love, prayers, and condolences. Mr. and Mrs Ziglar have been great examples of Jesus Christ s love to all of us; they always encouraged me personally in my faith, family, ministries, and work as a police officer. So many meaningful memories with the Ziglars continue to flood my thoughts with joy and thanksgiving. Once, I called for Mr. Ziglar at home and Mrs Ziglar answered the phone. I was being interviewed on Christian television show as a Christian police officer with Marcus and Joni Lamb and wanted to ask them to watch. While Mr. Ziglar was out of town speaking, Mrs. Ziglar was so excited and watched the show. Afterwards, she spoke with me over the phone and gave me so much encouragement, telling me how proud she and Mr. Ziglar were of my being outspoken in sharing my faith. I loved, and still do love, Zig and Jean Ziglar! RICHARD MORRIS, JULY 30, 2018 Jean, You left a legacy that is a shining example for all of us. I loved your humor, and how you would always make others laugh. Your amazing support of your husband, your love for your children, and the way you carried yourself every day was exactly how we should all live. You loved everyone, you hugged everyone and you served everyone. Thank you for leaving that for us. I love you and I happy that you are re-united with your loved ones on the other side. - Howard HOWARD PARTRIDGE, JULY 30, 2018 We pray God's perfect comfort on friends family and loved ones during this time. BILL & JOLYN GRAVES, JULY 29, 2018 Zig and Jean played a major role in our development as pastor and pastor's
wife. Jean was a marvelous example to me of what I should strive to be as a pastor's wife as I watched her support of Zig. As a young woman sitting in the pews of First Baptist Dallas, I loved watching her laugh at Zig's jokes as if it were the very first time she was hearing them. She modeled true graciousness and a sincere love for everyone. Jeff and I are in Florida with his dad who has suffered a stroke and we regret we cannot attend Jean's service. Our love and prayers to the entire family. PASTOR JEFF AND ANGELA NYBERG, JULY 29, 2018 You're finally resting alongside your husband, Zig and daughter Susan. God strengthen family and friends. You're all a testimony of what a difference Christ makes in a family. NANCY GONZALEZ, JULY 29, 2018 Prayers for your family. DENA PROSEN, JULY 29, 2018 Jean, We had never met but I am so grateful for the gifts you have given my family. What you and Zig taught your children have had a direct, positive, impact on my life. Julie, Cindy and Tom, and their families, are a wonderful example of the love and kindness that you shared with this world. Rest in Eternal Peace with the Lord ANDREW QUESENBERRY, JULY 29, 2018 May you be at peace knowing she's safely home with the Lord. DIANA NIGHTINGALE, JULY 29, 2018 My deepest condolences to the Ziglar family. Although I've only met Jean and Zig once, they've had a lasting impression on my life...
