Statesboro First United Methodist Church Relay For Life -Bulloch County So many members and friends of SFUMC have been impacted by cancer. Please support Relay for Life to help find a cure! The next Relay For Life is on Friday, May 1, 2015 at the Kiwanis Ogeechee Fairgrounds. Contact Hilda Dutrow, 764-6609 or jhdutrow@frontiernet.net, if you have any questions. Here are two ways to help sponsor this event: 1. Write a check to Relay for Life and put it in the offering plate, or bring it to the church office. 2. Give a minimum of $5.00 for each luminary you sponsor in honor or memory of a friend or loved one. Luminaria help light the path for those participating in the relay and offer a visual representation of those who have been impacted by cancer. Luminary dedication forms are available in the church office. Do you like to help people feel welcome? If so, we have an opportunity for you to share your gift of hospitality at our 9:01 service on Sunday mornings. We are in need of additional volunteers to help prepare and serve refreshments. This is a rotational commitment and would only require a few commitments out of the year. If you or your Sunday School class is interested in serving and/or would like more info, please contact Jason Parker at jasonvparker@hotmail.com or 912-282-1631.
