Holy Trinity Parish Family Perspective Before Jesus faced the attacks of the scribes and Pharisees, he spent the night in the quiet of the Mount of Olives. Technology increases the demands on us and we all need a quiet place to refuel our spirit, otherwise all we share in our homes are fatigue and bitterness. Where can you find a few minutes each day to refresh your spirit? COMPASSION IN ACTION COMMITTEE would like to invite you to join us this weekend, March 13, at St. Mary s Food Pantry in Lorain on Sunday, at 11:15 AM to help stock shelves and/or Monday at 4:30 PM to assist shoppers. Email donnatomlin5@aol.com or call 440 823 5726 for details. HTS SPRING BOOK FAIR will be held from Monday, March 14th - Friday, March 18th. Family, friends and parishioners are welcome to browse and buy books daily from 8 AM to 1:30 PM. The Book Fair is closed on March 17th. Extended hours during the Fish Fry on March 11th and March 18th. All proceeds from the Book Fair benefit the Holy Trinity School Library. BLOOD DRIVE...TUESDAY, MARCH 22ND sponsored by the Knights of Columbus at the Father Ragan Hall located at 1783 Moore Road in Avon from 3:30 to 7:30 PM. EASTER EGG HUNT sponsored by the Avon/Avon Lake Knights of Columbus Council #3269 will take place on Holy Saturday, March 26th at 1:00 PM at the K of C Hall on Moore Road. You are invited to bring your children and grandchildren ages 10 and under to join us at this annual Easter Egg Hunt. HOLY TRINITY BOOK CLUB will meet on Monday, March 28, 2016 at 7:00 PM in the Parish Center to discuss the book, Crooked Heart by Lissa Evans. Precocious 10 year old Noel, a boy of unknown origins, who was being raised by his suffragette and eccentric godmother, is evacuated from London to escape the Blitz after she dies. He ends up in St. Alban with Vera, thirty-six and drowning in debts and dependents. They team up to cheat and swindle their way through the war until a quest for justice complicates everything. In this beautifully moving book, the war is second to the desperate characters, balancing dark subjects and rich humor wonderfully well. All are welcome. HOLY SPIRIT LADIES GUILD would like to invite all Ladies and Men of the parish to join them on Thursday, March 17th at 7:00 PM in the Fr. Mosovsky Hall for a special video program on The Cleveland Years of Eliot Ness. Rebecca McFarland is an internationally recognized expert on the life and times of Eliot Ness and will present this exciting look back into Cleveland s history. All are welcome!
