MEETING SITE TO BE ANNOUNCED BY CLERGY COORDINATORS It is time for our cluster groups to meet again. The first meetings were a good beginning of this communication/fellowship model of ministry. OK.) This time the clergy coordinators will have a handout for each group to guide your time of interaction around your ministry. If there are questions, resourcing, or expertise needed to help in your local ministries, this is the time to register those needs with the facilitator (small group's secretary) so it can be passed on to the district Leadership Team before they meet on 1 st Thursday in November. *Whoever takes the minutes is responsible for getting them to their District Facilitator listed below. It is vital that these minutes get into the right hands. Clergy Coordinators in some clusters have given the 11 small group facilitators an addressed, stamped envelope for mailing the minutes. October 2014 Page 3 The Northwest District Website The Northwest District has launched a new district website. The domain name is www.northwestumcdistrict.org. You are invited to visit the website for district news, the district calendar, charge conference dates and the new Discipleship Form. New Discipleship Form Due 5 th of Each Month In previous years, each district had an evangelism form and clergy were required to complete this form as instructed by their district office. As we move through transition, all six districts collaborated to develop a form that included the 20.1.5 discipleship reporting and evangelism information. This new form is known as the Discipleship Form. All clergy under appointment are now required to complete a Discipleship Form each month. Here are some important details: To complete the Discipleship Form go to your district website. Instructions for completing the Discipleship Form have been sent to each minister. The Discipleship Form is due on the 5 th of each month. Your first reporting month will be September 2014 which you will go online to your district website and complete by October 5. You will not need a username or password to complete the Discipleship Form. For questions, please contact your district office. 2014 CHARGE CONFERENCE SCHEDULE OCTOBER 1-Vienna, Shiloh-6:30 p.m. 5-Leslie/DeSota-9:00 a.m. 5-County Line-11:00 a.m. 5-Concord/Hopewell-3:00 p.m. 8-Americus First-6:30 p.m. 12-Concord-9:00 a.m. 12-Dawson/Graves-11:00 a.m. 12-Lee Street/Morningside-3:00 p.m. 12-Plains/Preston-5:00 a.m. 13-Reynolds/Crowell-6:00 p.m. 15-St. Mary s Road-6:30 p.m. 19-Parrott-9:00 a.m. 19-Salem (Americus)-11:00 a.m. 19-Sasser-3:00 p.m. 19-Cusseta Charge-5:00 p.m. 22-Wynnton-6:30 p.m. 26-Living Grace-9:00 a.m. 26-Midway-3:00 p.m. 26-Rose Hill-5:00 p.m. 27-Pierce Chapel-7:00 p.m. 29-South Columbus-6:30 p.m. 30-M.L.Harris-6:30 p.m. NOVEMBER 2-East Highland-9:00 a.m. 2-Upatoi/Box Springs-11:00 a.m. 2-Woodland Charge-3:00 p.m. 2-Midland-5:00 p.m. 5-Epworth-6:30 p.m. 9-Cuthbert-9:00 a.m. 9-Shellman-11:00 a.m. 9-Georgetown/Sharon/Union-3:00 p.m. 9-Lumpkin/Sardis/Wesley Chapel-5:00 p.m. 12-St. Paul-6:30 p.m. 16-Stephens Chapel-9:00 a.m. 16-Richland-11:00 a.m. 16-Mt.
