Scripture reading - Jonah 1:1-3 How do you respond to the call of God? Jonah said "no" and then ran away. Imagine that - he tries to run away from God. There is nowhere you can go that God is not there already. How silly we can be in trying to run away from God. Like Jonah, we only end up hurting ourselves. And when we finally stop running, we discover that God is right beside us asking if we're ready to trust him. Are you running from God in any area of your life right now?
