Greetings Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ. The churches of Christ in India salute you. Grace, Peace, Mercy and Love of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you always. All the orphans kids and widows that we have been taking care of are doing well and they are all conveying greetings and prayers to you. To Our Beloved Family in Christ Greetings and well wishes to you! We once again are so very blessed to be sharing with you the gospel work our ministry, The Church of Christ India Mission Work, has been doing this past month through your kind, considerate love and support. We would not be able to accomplish our goals and meet the needs of our gospel work without your kindness, care, concern and support for us. We thank you so very much for the mighty blessing you have been to us in helping our work here in India. We hope and pray that through this newsletter: our Almighty God will be glorified by the work we have been able to do, that you will be informed of the work that is taking place, and that you will feel a part of all the gospel work we are doing. Although I have spent much time this month in hospitals with my dear mom and wife and baby, we have succeeded in accomplishing many good works for the glory of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. We hope you enjoy and are blessed through reading this newsletter work report.

Featured Work Highlight Providing Blankets to Poor Church Members Our ministry engages in several different benevolent works to help the poor and disadvantaged in our area. One of the works we have done for many years is to provide blankets during the winter season to the needy and poor members of our congregations, including the poor old widows and orphans. The blankets are a great help to these church members and their families to help keep them warm during the cold nights here in India. Most members of our congregations are very poor and live in huts or small homes that have no source of heat. The Christians are very thankful to God for the blessings of the warm blankets He provides to them through our ministry. We have 15 congregations that we help support. Providing blankets to the needy in these congregations each winter season can be very expensive. If you would like to help support and provide blankets to the poor members of our congregations, please contact us.

Gospel Work Events and Happenings Baptism- A New Soul Added to Christ s Kingdom We are very happy and thankful to report to you that we had a baptism during the month of September. Praise God for this newly added soul to the church! This man was a denominational preacher who had been attending our monthly preacher Bible trainings to gain a better understanding of God s Word. Shortly after our preacher training session in September, this man came to our home, confessed his belief in Jesus Christ and the New Testament Gospel, and requested to be baptized into the church of Christ, the one, true church. We immediately went with him to a large lake near the village where he lives and baptized him into the church of Christ. Immediately afterwards, we did special prayers for his new life in Christ. We also gifted him with a Telugu Bible and Hymn Book. Thanking God that he is now a member of the Lord s church and will be working for the Lord to lead lost souls to Christ s Kingdom. He will be a great asset to us in working to spread the Truth to the people in various denominations in our area. We are thanking God for this newly baptized Christian. Please pray for him to grow into a strong, mature servant for our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Gospel Work Events and Happenings Preacher Bible Study Trainings Our September preacher training session was very successful and fruitful in teaching and studying the Word of God with over 40 preachers in attendance, 20 of whom are denominational preachers. As a result of studying the Word of God with us, one of the denominational preachers requested to be added to the New Testament Lord s church through obeisance of the gospel plan of salvation. We are thanking God for this newly baptized member of the church. My mother, Sister Santha Suhasini, cooked a nutritious meal to feed the preachers during the training. We also provided a little money to the needy preachers to help them pay for their transportation to and from the meeting. There is a great need to hold these meetings more frequently. While one Bible study training per month is all that our ministry can afford at this time, this is not sufficient to adequately prepare our preachers and convert denominational preachers as we are striving to do. We would very much like to increase the frequency of these training sessions to at least one time per week in order to more fully and adequately prepare the preachers and help them gain a better knowledge and understanding of the scriptures so they can preach and teach to others in a more effective way. The conversion and baptism of the denominational preacher was very encouraging to our ministry and to our commitment to continue with and attempt to expand our preachers Bible study training sessions. If you would like to support our efforts to expand our preacher Bible study trainings to at least once per week, please contact me. Any support that you might be able to give will be very helpful in our efforts to better train gospel preachers to preach and teach to others to help spread the true gospel message and lead many lost souls to Christ.

Gospel Work Events and Happenings Forest Area Mission Trip I. and a team of our preachers, were very blessed to be able to return to the forest area for another mission trip during September. We had not been to the forest area in several months and were so happy to be able to return and to proclaim the gospel to the tribal villagers living there. After preaching the Word of God to the rural forest area villagers to feed and nourish their souls, we distributed fruits to them for the nourishment of their bodies. After the gospel message, we also provided the poor village children and orphans with Bible lessons and educational materials and bananas. Please pray for our forest area ministry and our need to increase our mission visits to at least once per month. If you would like to support our forest area mission efforts, please contact me.

Gospel Work Events and Happenings Caring for the Families With Leprosy We continued to provide food this month to the two families with leprosy who are members of one of the congregations we serve, Yanadhi Colony church of Christ. These families are always so very thankful for God s blessings and our help of food each month. Please pray that this dreadful disease has been eradicated from their bodies, for their continued improved health, and our ability to maintain the food support we provide them every month. Thank you very much for your prayers for them and us.

Gospel Work Events and Happenings Feeding the Starving Church Members This month we provided a nutritious meal and rice and fruits to one of our most poor and needy congregations, the church of Christ at Chikatiegalapalem Village, after preaching the Word of God to them. Most of the people living in the tribal villages where we have established congregations are very poor and are unable to provide for even their basic daily needs, as they have little to no regular source of income. Many of the starving are widows and orphans who are especially helpless and susceptible to malnutrition and disease due to lack of daily food. These members of our congregations depend greatly on our provisions of food to them. We provide rice and oil, fruits, nutritious meals and snacks to these families as often as we can to help keep them from starving. Please pray for this need and provide needful support if you are able and interested in doing so.

Gospel Work Events and Happenings Helping Old Preachers In September, we continued our monthly support of some of the old, sick preachers in our congregations. These preachers and their families are very poor and have no or very little income. They depend on God to work through us to provide financial assistance to them each month to help take care of their daily needs and medical needs and the daily needs of their families. These old preachers look forward to our visits each month and the help we provide. They are always filled with gratitude and thankful to God and to us for providing help to them. Please pray for these old preachers and their families and please pray that we can continue to provide assistance to these poor preachers each month as we have been doing. We are very grateful to you for your prayers for them and for us in our efforts to help them.

Other News and Events It s a Girl! Introducing Our New Baby! We are extremely happy to introduce you to the newest member of the Gollapalli family our new baby girl, Elizabeth. We feel so blessed by God that she has finally arrived healthy and strong. She was not due until the around the first week in October, but due to complications, doctors decided it would be best to deliver as soon as possible. Our baby girl was born at 4:42 pm on September 23, 2017. We are so blessed and proud to be her parents. Pravallika went through major surgery and much sickness during her pregnancy and we are so very thankful that both she and Elizabeth are healthy and are now at home and doing well. Thank you for all prayers for their good health and well-being.

Other News and Events Prayers for A Sister in Christ We would like to request prayers for a dear Sister in Christ, Debbie Fields, from the state of Kentucky, USA. Sister Debbie just recently had surgery to remove cancerous tumors and is now recuperating. She will resume chemotherapy treatments in a few weeks. Please keep Sister Debbie in your prayers for a fast recovery and successful chemotherapy treatments. Prayers for My Mother s Health My dear mother recently became sick with breathing difficulties, leg swelling and heart problems. She spent a week in hospital receiving treatments, including breathing treatments for her lung infection. She had heart bypass surgery two years ago and her heart is weak, especially during times of stress or over-exertion. Thanks be to God, Mom was released from hospital and returned home on Monday, September 25. Please keep my mom and her health in your prayers.

Other News and Events Borewell GoFundMe Campaign Our GoFundMe borewell campaign, Bring Water to Christians in India, has been open since July 5, 2017 and, as of the writing of this newsletter, the total amount raised still stands at $500 of the $2700 goal. If you are able and would like to contribute to help us provide borewells to our congregations, please visit the campaign page at the link below. Please remember that no donation is too great nor too small any amount would be greatly appreciated. Again, many thanks to our Sister in Christ and the TOPPS PR Firm for setting up this campaign to help us meet the need for clean drinking water for our congregations! https://www.gofundme.com/bringwatertoindia Our New Website If you haven t yet visited our new website, I cordially invite and encourage you to do so! Church of Christ India Mission Work Targeted Needs for October Need for Prayer Shed Foundation and Walls As we did in August and September, we are continuing to focus on the need for walls and foundation for the prayer shed we constructed in April/May 2017 for the Muthanapalli Church of Christ. Please support this effort if you are able. In April/May 2017, we were able by the Grace and Blessings of God to be able to build a prayer shed for the Muthanapalli Village congregation. This prayer shed was a great blessing to the members of this congregation, as they previously had been conducting worship services outside in the open with no shelter from the often harsh elements of nature. However, this congregation is having several problems due to the lack of a foundation and walls for the prayer shed. Many animals are coming into the prayer shed area and disturbing the area inside. In addition, while the prayer shed is an adequate barrier to the very hot India sun, it sometimes falls short in providing protection from the harsh winds and heavy rains that pour down, especially during this rainy season we are having here. Moreover, as most of the homeless orphan children and old widows in this congregation are taking shelter under this prayer shed during the night time and during periods of rain, it is so very important that we furnish this prayer shed with a foundation and walls. This would be a great help to the homeless in this congregation, providing them a safe place to sleep during the night and protection from animals and the harsh elements. Therefore, we are again this month targeting the need for a foundation and walls for the prayer shed in this congregation. By our estimation, it will take approximately $1000 to build a foundation and walls for this prayer shed. Please consider supporting our efforts in meeting this need for this congregation. If you would like to support our efforts for this targeted need, please feel free to contact me. Thank you, in advance, for your kind consideration in supporting this effort.

Church of Christ India Mission Work Targeted Needs for October Need for Rice to Help Feed the Starving Another targeted need for the upcoming month of October that we have is the need for rice to help feed those who are starving in our congregations. We have many poor rural villagers, families, old widows, and orphans who are badly in need of rice and food stuff. The church members in these congregations rely on us to provide them with food each month to keep them from starving. Most months, we are only able to provide rice to only one of our most needy congregations. There is a great need for us to provide food to the starving Christians in our congregations more frequently. We would like very much to provide rice each month to all the needy Christians in all of the congregations we serve. If you or your local congregation would like to provide monthly support for rice for one of our most needy congregations, please contact me. Fifty dollars would provide enough rice to help keep the members of one of the congregations from starving. Please pray for this need and provide needful support if you are able and interested in doing so.

Church of Christ India Mission Work Other Needs of Our Mission Work While we are focusing for the upcoming month on the targeted needs of a foundation and walls for a prayer shed we had built and rice for the starving members of our congregations and gospel ministry continue to have many other needs which you may be interested in learning more about and supporting, if possible. Return Mission Trips to the Forest Areas - There is a great need for us to return to the forest areas to nourish and further develop the gospel seed which we have planted on our previous visits. Currently, we are only able to afford to go into the forest areas to proclaim the gospel once every three or four months. We very much need to be able to fund at least one forest area mission trip each month. Preacher Bible Study Training - Our ministry currently provides preacher training sessions one time per month in our home. There is a great need e for us to increase the frequency of these sessions to at least two times per week. It is very difficult to provide the in-depth bible study and training that is needed with only one session per month. Sewing Machine Training Center My mother conducts sewing machine training classes one time per month in our home. We would very much like to increase these classes in frequency to at least 2-3 times per month. Also, we need additional sewing machines in the center to be able to train additional women from our congregations at one time. Construction of Prayer Sheds- We have two congregations who are conducting worship services outside in the open. During times of extreme heat or wind and rain, it is very difficult for these congregations to meet to worship God. There is a great need to build sheltered prayer sheds for these congregations. PLEASE PRAY FOR THESE NEEDS OF OUR GOSPEL MISSION WORK. Thank you so very much, in advance, for your kind consideration and support for these needs for our gospel work. If you have any questions or would like further information about our work or any of these needs, or if you would like to contribute to support any of these needs for our mission work, please feel free to contact me. Thank you for your prayers and your kind consideration.
