MORNING WORSHIP 9:00/11:00 AM Prelude Brother James Air Be Thou My Vision (Trinity Hymnal 642) Call to Worship arr. Searle Wright arr. Alice Parker Brigida Altamirano, soprano * Doxology (Trinity Hymnal 731) Old Hundredth Praise God from Whom all blessings flow; praise Him, all creatures here below; Praise Him above, ye heav nly host; praise Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. Amen. * Confession (from The Book of Common Prayer) Almighty God, Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, Maker of all things, Judge of all men; we acknowledge and bewail our manifold sins and wickedness which we have from time to time committed by thought, word and deed against Your divine majesty, provoking most justly Your wrath and indignation against us. We do earnestly repent and are heartily sorry for our misdoings; they are grievous unto us. Have mercy upon us, most merciful Father for Your Son our Lord Jesus Christ s sake; forgive us all that is past and grant that hereafter we may serve and please You in newness of life, to the honor and glory of Your holy name, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen. * The Gospel s Assurance of Pardon * Invocation * Hymn 98: Now Thank We All Our God Nun Danket Responsive Reading Psalm 40:1 8 (page 468) * Gloria Patri (Trinity Hymnal 734) Gloria Patri (Meineke) Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Ghost; as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen, Amen. * Apostles Creed I believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth, and in Jesus Christ His only Son our Lord, Who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead and buried; He descended into hell. The third day He rose again from the dead. He ascended into heaven, and sitteth on the right hand of God, the Father Almighty; from thence He shall come to judge the quick and the dead. I believe in the Holy Ghost; the holy catholic church; the communion of saints; the forgiveness of sins; the resurrection of the body; and the life everlasting. Amen. Prayer of Thanksgiving and Intercession Announcements * Hymn 470: How Vast the Benefits Divine St. Matthew * Congregation standing

We are including in the bulletin a series of questions and answers dealing with some of the essential doctrines of our faith. Question 48: What are we specially taught by these words before me in the first commandment? Answer: These words before me in the first commandment teach us that God, who seeth all things, taketh notice of, and is much displeased with, the sin of having any other god. * Congregation standing

With that in mind, all gifts dedicated to the July Project of the Month will be allocated to unreached people groups. Cash or checks made payable to Tenth Presbyterian Church, with July Project of the Month on the memo line, may be placed in offering plates or one of the oak boxes at the Sanctuary entrances. * Congregation standing
