The first was "Woe to Samaria". What is the second woe, and why did the Lord proclaim Woe to that place? 3) Also introduced in Chapter 29 is the third Woe, "Woe to those who seek deep to hide their counsel far from the Lord, and their works are in the dark, they say 'Who sees us?' and, 'Who knows us?' " (Is. 29:15). Explain what the Lord is cautioning against. Chapter 30 1) Isaiah Chapter 30:1 begins: "'Woe to the rebellious children,' says the Lord, 'who take counsel, but not of Me, and who devise plans, but not of My Spirit...". Here the Lord is warning the people against rejecting his counsel and following someone else. Who is that someone else? 2) God wanted Isaiah to provide a warning to the people of Judah. In Chapter 30, He asked Isaiah to complete a task in order to warn the people. What was that task?

3) In Isaiah Chapter 30, Isaiah communicates to the people Gods grace. He tells them that God waits for them to return to Him and that he will have mercy on them. There is something specific that God wants the people of Judah to do, which is detailed in verse 22. What is that thing? Chapter 31 Why could Egypt not be trusted?
