Welcome New Member Ross Youngberg Partner Eide Bailly, LLP I was born in Salt Lake City, and lived in Okinawa and Madrid before I was old enough to know what was going on. The family moved to Bountiful when I was about 4 years old and I was raised there. I graduated from Bountiful High School and the University of Utah and also served an LDS mission to Tonga. After the mission and before the college graduation I married Elaine Perry, also of Bountiful. We raised five children while living in North Salt Lake and then Bountiful, where we now live. My professional career as a CPA, my family, and the church, has been occupying my days and nights for so many years, and there is no end in sight. I began my professional career with the firm of Hansen, Barnett & Maxwell, and have managed to stay with that firm my entire career while helping to make it one of the premier local firms in Utah. Hansen, Barnett & Maxwell merged with a regional CPA firm in September 2013; Eide Bailly LLP. So, instead of 7 partners and 60 staff to work with, I now have 210 partners and 1400 staff, and an immense resource of people and processes to draw from to better serve my clients. For hobbies I enjoy reading, being in the mountains (hiking, fishing, ATVing) and staying at our cabin on the north slope of the Uintah Mountains. I also enjoy road biking and motorcycling when the weather is good. Thanks to all for voting me in as a member of the Rotary! I am proud to be counted among such a great group of people! 2

Welcome New Member Mike Criddle CPA, Tax Senior Manager Eide Bailly, LLP I was born in Provo Utah while my father attended BYU, but grew up in the Salt Lake City area. I Served an LDS mission to Chile and after returning married my beautiful wife Emily (in 1998). I graduated from the University of Utah with a Master's degree in tax accounting. I became a licensed CPA in 2002 while working for Ernst & Young, a large accounting firm. I left there in 2007 as I wanted to stay in Utah and continue my career. I went to work for Lake, Hill & Myers a local CPA firm that was acquired by Eide Bailly in 2013. I was r ecently promoted to become a Partner with Eide Bailly. I have been married for 17 years and I am the father of 7 children, 3 of whom are adopted (Ukraine 1 / Ethiopia 2). I am a tax accountant for many local client/ businesses and enjoy the local connection. Additionally, given my extensive experience with individual international tax issues I am considered the foremost expert in this area within Eide Bailly. I was recently recognized for my contributions in this area as one of Utah Business magazine's 40 Under 40 for 2015. 3

What is Rotary? We are 1.2 million neighbors, friends, and community leaders who come together to create positive, lasting change in our communities and around the world. How does it start? It starts on the local level. Rotary District Assembly The Utah District sponsors continuing education in the form of a district assembly. The district assembly is for Presidents-elect (PEs), President-elect Nominees (PENs), club board members, club committee chairs and committee members, as well as new members. PE's and PEN's will refine their leadership skills, while other incoming club leaders learn their new responsibilities. New Rotarians will have the opportunity to experience a district level activity and learn more about Rotary. Continuing education helps members remain current with changes and gives direction to leaders and members in their area of responsibility/interest. For members to remain committed to and knowledgeable about their organization, continuing education needs to be available to promote purpose, provide training, and foster networking. To facilitate attendance at the District Assembly, three locations have been selected in the State. They are: Northern Assembly - Saturday, April 11, 8 am - 1 pm, Miller Conference Center, 9750 South 300 West, Sandy; Southern Assembly - Saturday, April 25, 8 am - 1 pm, Tonaquint Intermediate School, 1210 W. Curley Hollow Drive, St. George; and Southeastern Assembly - Saturday, May 2, 8 am - 1 pm, Moab (location to be determined). Registration begins at 7:15 am with a continental breakfast. Appropriate dress would be business casual. Please mark your calendars and plan to attend. You won't be disappointed because this will be time well spent. 4
