On Tuesday, October 13th at 7:00 PM in the Special Function Room, the Baptist Women will kick off the year! We will have a time of worship, fellowship, and missions focus. Mary Nixon will be here to share her mission experiences with us. This event is for ALL women in our church. Plan to attend and bring a friend! Please sign up on the sheet in the vestibule so we will know for how many to prepare. On October 15 at 7 PM at the PNC Arena in Raleigh, join Dr. David Jeremiah and friends for a FREE live event. With special music guest MercyMe and worship with Charles Billingsley. You will experience the power of worship with thousands of other believers through dynamic music and encounter God s perspective on your life as Dr. David Jeremiah teaches from the Word of God. We have 40 FREE tickets to this event. If you would like to go, please sign-up on the bulletin board outside the choir room. We will be taking the church bus and leaving RHBC at 3 PM. We will stop for dinner on the way. If you have any questions, please contact Pastor Tyler. There will be a Day Care Committee Meeting on Thursday, October 22nd at 7 PM in the new Conference Room in the Administrative Building. Committee members, please make every effort to attend.

This month, we started a new Outreach Ministry here at RHBC. This new ministry is called CREW, which stands for Christians, Reaching, Encouraging, Witnessing. We are instructed in scripture to Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you (Matt. 28:19-20). We meet twice monthly. Our next meeting is on October 22nd @ 7 PM. We will do different outreach activities. Contact Pastor Tyler for more information. Family Fun Night Saturday, October 24 from 5-8 PM @ the home of Perry & Michelle Riddick 127 Beech Fork Road, Edenton, NC 27932 Hayride, Hamburgers, Cornhole, Jumpy House, & S mores Sign up sheet posted outside the Choir Room. We are collecting candy for the Fall Festival & Trunk or Treat now through October 25th.
