Since 1994, the Diocese of Orange has been collecting funds to support local Respect Life shelters, clinics and centers that give immediate and long-term care to Orange County women, men, and families in crisis. This year the proceeds will benefit the Obria Medical Clinics (Mission Viejo, Santa Ana, Orange, Buena Park, Long Beach & Mobile Unit), Mary s Shelter, Casa Teresa, Vietnamese Hot Line, Life Centers (Santa Ana, Stanton and La Habra), Precious Life Shelter and Horizon Pregnancy Clinic. As part of a state initiative to encourage businesses to be mindful of their environmental impact, St. Kilian is proud of its hard work in the area of environmental stewardship which includes a monthly recycling drive, a drip irrigation system, low flow toilets, use of reclaimed water, the newly installed LED lights and more. While Pope Francis Jubilee Year of Mercy will conclude on November 20, 2016, our community can look proudly on these permanent changes and know that our efforts did not go unnoticed.
