James R Aymann PO Box 61272 Las Vegas, NV 89160 onemansfight@cox.net Please See Episode 12 For Dr. Abdi Raissi Orthopedic Surgeon at Desert Orthopedic in Las Vegas, Nevada This is an open letter currently on the Internet with links attached. As you are fully aware I have posted a website titled, One Man s Fight against Corruption. This expanding website currently at 275 pages was first posted several years ago. If you Google Dr. Abdi Raissi corruption and coverup, you will find on page one: Involving Freeman Exposition Inc., OSHA of Nevada, Worker s Compensation of Nevada and the Teamster Union Local 631. You will also find this Open Page. Mister, I know you for what you are!

You are a physician on the Worker s Compensation list and you have demonstrated that your agenda is not in the patient s best interests. You are less than truthful regarding available tests to accurately diagnose the actual extent of the injuries. You will return your Worker s Compensation Patient s to full duty at the workplace before they have appropriately completed the necessary physical therapy! You will lie to these patients regarding the length of time for a full recovery to include pain, swelling, strength and range of motion! I was assigned to you Dr. Abdi Raissi at Desert Orthopedic Center in Las Vegas by Jennifer Milliken of Gallagher Bassett Services also in Las Vegas. The first consultation consisted of you looking at x-rays and did not last more than three minutes. At no time did you even touch or look at my foot, ever! I had deep gouges around my Achilles tendon. I very clearly informed you that I wanted several MRIs taken of my left foot with the accompanying radiologists report. You informed me that Worker s Compensation would not cover an MRI! This is a false misrepresentation of what is available to me under Worker s Compensation!

Worker s Compensation does cover MRIs and Radiologists reports that are prescribed. In this first consultation, you misrepresented the facts involving a request from your patient involving a necessary procedures to best determine the extent of the injuries to my left foot at the onset your allegiance was to Worker s Compensation and not to your patient. I immediately complained to Jennifer Milliken of Gallagher Bassett, the Third-Party Administrator regarding Dr. Abdi Raissi. The claim was accepted on January 30, 2008 with the left foot. That is completely correct! That means the entire left foot. You gave a diagnosis of left metatarsal fractures with MDP contractors on March 31, 2008 In your notes you entered The patient will be released to work full duties without restrictions, At the onset your allegiance was to Worker s Compensation and not to your patient. On May 7, 2008 you determined that I was at Maximum Medical Improvement, (MMI) stable, and ratable and I was released from care to full duty.

This is false. You released me to return to work on March 31, 2008. You assured me that the pain and swelling would be gone within five months! Also on that day I handed you a letter from Physical Therapist, Jeffrey L Deeds dated May 6 one day earlier. The letter from my physical therapist, Jeff Deets, stated, Patient reports he has not been able to come into PT secondary to working full-time. Patient reports continued foot and ankle pain, especially after work. Jeff Deets added His peroneal strength is poor upon manual muscle testing. Patient was performing three sets of 15 reps eversion on his last visit with green T-bands and now has poor strength. Patient reports increased swelling after work. Patient reports zero pain level at present but levels six-nine after work Jeff Deets was very clearly stating that physical therapy was not completed!

With this information I have to wonder how you determined that I was at Maximum Medical Improvement, (MMI) stable, and ratable and he is discharged from care to include physical therapy! You assured me that the pain and swelling would both diminish to the point that they would no longer exist within five months! Once again your loyalty is with Worker s Compensation and not with your patient! Please note this was the last time I saw you! After six months the pain that I had been enduring in my left foot took a severe turn for the worse. The swelling also became much worse I had to start wearing sandals to work. I had trouble finishing a normal day. 11 you. I called Desert Orthopedic to set up an appointment with I was informed that you refused to see me! I have never ever encountered anything like this! A person sustains an injury and the physician that has been treating him refuses to see him. I consider this abandonment by a physician!

On October 6, 2009, I returned to Desert Orthopedic to obtain written records that would establish that you refused to see me in early September 2008 clearly abandoning me as a patient. Instead of the records that I was requesting, I was handed a faxed prescription from a remote location! You faxed this prescription indicating No further recommendations for treatment without having seen me for 17 months! In the course of my 70 years, I have had occasion to set appointments with various doctors, but you rank among the most despicable, treacherous and insensitive individuals that I have ever had the displeasure of having thrust into my life! You diagnosed the injury to my left foot as fractured metatarsal bones and toes. These bones healed! My request, to you, for an MRI with the pursuant Radiologist report was denied by you! You falsely claimed that Worker s Compensation would not cover it! You terminated my physical therapy before it was completed! 11

You look me in the eye and told me that the pain and the swelling would subside and be completely gone within five months. What did happen, is that the pain and the swelling both became excruciating after six months! I actually had to obtain a letter from Worker s Compensation indicating that I was no longer under the care of Worker s Compensation so that I could use the medical insurance that I had through my employer! I went to see Dr. Carl Smith, a podiatrist who owned his own business, Eastern Podiatry. Dr. Smith injected my left foot with cortisone, he gave me a prescription for several months of physical therapy and he also provided me with a prescription for an MRI of my left foot with the accompanying radiologist report! The Radiologist report indicated that, excluding the fractures that had fully healed in my left foot, there were additional injuries in the talar area of my foot! (Talus) I am a former combat leader and a veteran of the Vietnam War with a 70% service-connected disability! Dr. Michael Federico, a podiatrist with the Veterans Administration, indicated along with Dr. Carl Smith s indications, that I had in fact sustained additional injuries in addition to the fractures that had in fact healed! I was in extreme pain!

If I put weight on my left foot, with time, it would start to revert to the distortion that was caused when my foot was severely crushed! August 10, 2015 James R. Aymann Las Vegas Abdi Raissi M.D.
