ZION LUTHERAN CHURCH OF AMOR Sunday, June 12, 2016 ZION S MISSION STATEMENT We are claimed, gathered, and sent forth to serve and witness in Jesus name. WELCOME! It is a pleasure to have you worship with us this morning. Let us worship the Lord with gladness! If you are a visitor, interested in membership, would like to receive our newsletter, or would like a pastoral visit, please check the appropriate box on the fellowship pad. We hope to see you often. Confused? Stephen Ministers are lay people trained to provide one-to-one care to people experiencing a difficult time in life, such as grief, divorce, job loss, chronic or terminal illness, relocation, or separation. Stephen Ministers are available for anyone who has a need please call Pastor Jim at 495-2563. Today s Stewardship Thought: When I entered your house, you did not give me water for my feet LUKE 7:44 Today s Gospel calls us to consider how we serve God. Do we consume like the Pharisee who simply reclines at the table and expects to be served? Or, do we contribute like the woman who kneels before Jesus and washes His feet? Every day we must make a choice. Take or give? Consume or contribute? Recline or serve?
