The Millennial Kingdom Views Discussions of the millennial kingdom are often coupled with discussions concerning the second coming of Jesus Christ. There are three (3) main views of the Millennial Kingdom: Premillennial, Postmillennial and Amillennial.
The Millennial Kingdom Views 1. Premillennial This view holds that Jesus Christ will return with his saints before the inauguration of the millennial kingdom.
The Millennial Kingdom
The Millennial Kingdom Views 2. Postmillennial This view holds that the effect of the gospel will bring about such a golden age of peace and righteousness, where Christ is the center of the peoples hearts that it will be tantamount to the millennial kingdom. Then Christ will return as the climax (after) of that golden age ending the millennial reign.
The Millennial Kingdom
The Millennial Kingdom Views 3. Amillennialism This view denies a literal millennial kingdom on earth. It holds that Christ will simply return at his second coming and immediately usher in the new heaven and new earth without an intervening 1000 year period.
