May God give to you from the dew of the sky and from the richness of the land an abundance of grain and new wine. GENESIS 27:28
May peoples serve you and nations bow down to you. Be master over your brothers; may your mother s sons bow down to you. Those who curse you will be cursed, and those who bless you will be blessed. GENESIS 27:29

When Isaac was old and his eyes were so weak that he could not see, he called his older son Esau and said to him, My son. And he answered, Here I am. GENESIS 27:1

Take your hunting gear, your quiver and bow, and go out in the field to hunt some game for me. GENESIS 27:3
Then make me a delicious meal that I love and bring it to me to eat, so that I can bless you before I die. GENESIS 27:4
Rebekah, the Witty Wife (27:6 10)
Rebekah said to her son Jacob, Listen! I heard your father talking with your brother Esau. He said, GENESIS 27:6
Bring me the game and make a delicious meal for me to eat so that I can bless you in the Lord s presence before I die. GENESIS 27:7
Now obey every order I give you, my son. GENESIS 27:8
Go to the flock and bring me two choice young goats, and I will make them into a delicious meal for your father the kind he loves. GENESIS 27:9
Then take it to your father to eat so that he may bless you before he dies. GENESIS 27:10
Jacob, the Scheming Bargainer (27:11 13)
Jacob answered Rebekah his mother, Look, my brother Esau is a hairy man, but I am a man with smooth skin. GENESIS 27:11
Suppose my father touches me. Then I will be revealed to him as a deceiver and bring a curse rather than a blessing on myself. GENESIS 27:12
His mother said to him, Your curse be on me, my son. Just obey me and go get them for me. GENESIS 27:13
Esau, the Olympic Champion (27:34 38, 41)
When Esau heard his father s words, he cried out with a loud and bitter cry and said to his father, Bless me too, my father! GENESIS 27:34
But he replied, Your brother came deceitfully and took your blessing. GENESIS 27:35
So he said, Isn t he rightly named Jacob? For he has cheated me twice now. He took my birthright, and look, now he has taken my blessing. Then he asked, Haven t you saved a blessing for me? GENESIS 27:36
But Isaac answered Esau: Look, I have made him a master over you, have given him all of his relatives as his servants, and have sustained him with grain and new wine. What then can I do for you, my son? GENESIS 27:37
Esau said to his father, Do you only have one blessing, my father? Bless me too, my father! And Esau wept loudly. GENESIS 27:38
Esau held a grudge against Jacob because of the blessing his father had given him. And Esau determined in his heart: The days of mourning for my father are approaching; then I will kill my brother Jacob. GENESIS 27:41
The Blesser, the Controlling Creator (28:10 15)
Jacob left Beer-sheba and went toward Haran. GENESIS 28:10
He reached a certain place and spent the night there because the sun had set. He took one of the stones from the place, put it there at his head, and lay down in that place. GENESIS 28:11
And he dreamed: A stairway was set on the ground with its top reaching heaven, and God s angels were going up and down on it. GENESIS 28:12
Yahweh was standing there beside him, saying, I am Yahweh, the God of your father Abraham and the God of Isaac. I will give you and your offspring the land that you are now sleeping on. GENESIS 28:13
Your offspring will be like the dust of the earth, and you will spread out toward the west, the east, the north, and the south. All the peoples on earth will be blessed through you and your offspring. GENESIS 28:14
Look, I am with you and will watch over you wherever you go. I will bring you back to this land, for I will not leave you until I have done what I have promised you. GENESIS 28:15

In a mother s womb were two babies. One asked the other, Do you believe in life after delivery? The other replied, Why, of course. There has to be something after delivery. Maybe we are here to prepare ourselves for what we will be later.
Nonsense said the first. There is no life after delivery. What kind of life would that be?
The second said, I don t know, but there Nonsense said the first. There is no life after delivery. What kind of life would that be? will be more light than here. Maybe we will walk with our legs and eat from our mouths. Maybe we will have other senses we can t understand now.
That s absurd. Walking is impossible. And eating with our mouths? Ridiculous! The umbilical cord supplies nutrition and everything we need. The cord is short, so life after delivery is to be logically excluded.

Nonsense. If there is life, then why has no one ever come back from there? Delivery is the end of life, and in the after-delivery there is nothing but darkness and silence and oblivion. It takes us nowhere.

The second said, The first replied, Mother? You actually believe in mother? That s laughable. If mother exists, then where is she now? She is all around us. We are surrounded by her. We are of her. It is in her that we live. Without her, this world could not and would not exist.
Said the first: Well, I don t see her, so it is only logical that she doesn t exist.
To which the second replied, Sometimes Said the first: Well, I don t see her, so it is only logical that she doesn t exist. when you re in silence and you focus and listen, you can perceive her presence and you can hear her loving voice calling down from above.
