COMMUNITY CORNER CAFE COMMUNITY CORNER CAFE WAS A SUCCESS! We want to give a big thanks to all who were involved with the cafe this past Friday night. Your help made it a huge success! We served over 170 people and provided a great atmosphere for all those who attended. It was a great time for the volunteers and attendees and we received many compliments throughout the night. The only complaint was a speck Don Widrig left on a plate he washed, but we had a talk with him and it was cleared up to give us 100% satisfaction. Thanks again to all who supported this great night. Bruay la Buissiére is in the extreme north of France, very near Belgium and the English Channel. Faustine's current host family is our very own Sue Fereday. Sue has a daughter the same age as Faustine so it has been a great fit. Faustine is in the center of the picture. At home, Faustine took seven years of English, three years of Spanish, and one year of Chinese. We can learn a lot from her! She is the third of three children in her family. She took the initiative by herself to contact her local Rotary club to become an exchange student to the United States. 3 of 9 1/15/13 12:00 PM
