It has been said, "Thinking that we can trade our good works for salvation is like buying a plane ticket and then supposing we own the airline. Salvation comes as a free gift from God. But we still need to get on the plane with the ticket that His love has provided. This scientifically researched health restoration program meets Tuesdays and Thursdays for a total of 8 sessions, ending February 15 th. It includes lifestyle principles that prevent and reverse disease through natural methods. This is a great series to learn the basics of meal planning and cooking with plant foods. Ten Days of Prayer 2018 This year s Ten Days of Prayer will meet from 6:30 to 7:30 PM in the Youth Chapel beginning Wednesday, January 10 th and continuing through Friday, January 19 th. Each night we will be reading a theme sheet to study the Apparel of the High Priest as worn in the Sanctuary service. Also included will be Bible verses and passages from Ellen White that add insight to the theme. Prayer and supplication will be the main components of the meetings. We expect these meeting to be a great spiritual blessing and invite all of you to attend. 2018 Bible / Spirit of Prophecy Reading Program In the hopes of helping each one of you draw closer to God, the Prayer Ministry is again providing the daily reading program of the Spirit of Prophecy and the Bible. The upcoming year s program is the Desire of Ages. Copies of the program are available in the church foyer and church office during the week. The reading program begins Chapter 1, God With Us on Page 19, so be sure that the book you are using starts chapter 1 on that page. The EG White app is also compatible with the reading program.
