Catholic tradition and academic excellence in a community grounded in a common faith. 2. Balanced curriculum including art, music and fitness. 3. Emphasis on moral development, service to others and leadership skills. This is our mission statement: The Charleston Catholic School educates a socially diverse student body in a nurturing family environment within the sacred tradition and teachings of the Roman Catholic Church. Teachers challenge the students to discover their own unique gifts through creative inquiry and critical thinking in the core academic subjects and the arts. Our small, loving environment enables students to learn self discipline through responsible decision-making and to develop a sense of compassion for others. Monday, March 17th, our students and concert band will participate in The Charleston St. Patrick s Day Parade. There will be no school Friday, March 21st as our teachers will be attending a teacher workshop. We are currently accepting applications for the 2014-15 school year.
