The Islamic faith concerning Abraham (peace be upon him) The Islamic faith concerning Abraham (peace be upon him) is that he was a chosen Prophet close and most beloved to Allaah (the one true God worthy of worship and the creator of all that exists), this has come in numerous areas in the Quraan [the final revelation sent to the whole of mankind given to the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him)] Allaah the most high states in the holey Quraan: [being its translated meaning:-] Allaah chose Adam, Nûh (Noah), the family of Ibrâhîm (Abraham) and the family of 'Imrân above the mankind and jinn (of their times). [Chapter 3:verse33] (He Abraham was) thankful for Allaah's Favours. He (Allaah) chose him (as an intimate friend) and guided him to a Straight Path (the worship of the one true God alon). And We gave him good in this world, and in the Hereafter he shall be of the righteous. [Chapter 16:verse121-122] In these Qur'anic verses Allaah (the most high) has informed of those who he has chosen and preferred from his creation, being from his most righteous close beloved salves; Abraham and his family. The one who Allaah (the most high) has lifted and specified and placed among his offspring's the Prophet hood and scripture, so all the Prophets who came after him are from his descendants. The call of Abraham Abraham (peace be upon him) called his people to the worship of the creator who created them and those who came before them and the creator of all that exists (Allaah), the one true God worthy of worship alone. Abraham strongly rejected and detested against the worship of others besides Allaah. He warned his people against the dangers and consequences of worshiping the false gods and idols. Allaah the most high states in the holey Quraan: [being its translated meaning:-] And (remember) Abraham, when he said to his people: "Worship Allaah (Alone), and fear Him, that is better for you if you did but know. "You worship besides Allaah only idols, and you only invent falsehood. Verily, those whom you worship besides Allaah have no power to give you provision, so seek your provision from Allaah (Alone), and worship Him (Alone), and be grateful to Him. To Him (Alone) you will be brought back. [Chapter 29:verse16-17] Allaah (the most high) has informed that he has sent his chosen, beloved and bought near Prophet Abraham (peace be upon him) to call his people to the worship of Allaah Alone, making their religion sincere for him by fearing him and implementing his commands and refraining from his prohibitions. 2

Abraham after ordering his people with the worship of Allaah Alone, he forbade them from the worship of the false idols and clarified to them their defects and weaknesses, in the fact that they (idols, false gods and all that is worshiped besides Allaah) themselves are created, nor do they poses any might nor sovereignty, nor can they bring about any good or harm, nor can they bring to life, nor can they cause to die, therefore those worshiped besides Allaah are not deserving the least, least right of worship nor servitude. When his (Abraham) Lord said to him, "Submit (to the oneness of Allaah)!" He said, "I have submitted myself (as a Muslim) to the Lord of the mankind, jinn and all that exists." And upon this (submission to the oneness Allaah) Abraham enjoined upon his sons and by Jacob (saying), "O my sons! Allaah has chosen for you the (true) religion, then die not except in the Faith of Islâm (as Muslims Islâmic Monotheism)." Or were you witnesses when death approached Jacob, When he said to his sons, "What will you worship after me?" They said, "We shall worship your God (Allaah) and the God of your fathers, Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, One God and to Him we submit (in Islaam)." [Surah 2. Verse 130-133] Abraham and the holy Ka'bah Allaah informs that his noble Prophet Abraham had originally built and lifted the foundations of the Ka'bah (the blackstone in makkah which the center of the Hajj pilgrimage performed by the Muslims every year as an noble act of worship for the sake of Allaah Alone). Allaah the most high states in the holey Quraan: [being its translated meaning:-] And (remember) when We made the House (the Ka'bah at Makkah) a place of resort for mankind and a place of safety. And take you (people) the place of Abraham (the stone on which Abraham stood while he was building the Ka'bah) as a place of prayer (after the completion of the worship of circumambulating around the Ka'bah), and We commanded Abraham and Ishmael that they should purify My House (the Ka'bah at Makkah) for those who are circumambulating it, remaining, bowing and prostrating themselves (there, in prayer). [Chapter 2. Verse 125] Allaah the most high states in the holey Quraan: And (remember) when Abraham and (his son) Ishmael were raising the foundations of the House (the Ka'bah at Makkah), (saying), "Our Lord! Accept (this service) from us. Verily, You are the All-Hearer, the All-Knower." "Our Lord! And make us submissive to You and of our offspring a nation submissive to You, and show us our ceremonies of pilgrimage Hajj and 'Umrah, and accept our repentance. Truly, You are the One Who accepts repentance, the Most Merciful. [chapter 2. Verse 127-128] 3

Allaah the most high, informs of the holy and high noble status of the Ka'bah, originally built by Abraham (peace be upon him), a place where the believers can worship their lord alone and gain closer to Him by performing the duties of pilgrimage seeking nothing but the pleasure of their creator alone, seeking His forgiveness for their sin and transgressions against themselves, seeking salvation from His anger and punishment and so that they may attain piety and success in this world and in the hereafter. Allaah the most high states in the holey Quraan: [being its translated meaning:-] Verily, the first House (of worship) appointed for mankind was that at Makkah (i.e. the Ka'bah), full of blessing, and guidance for mankind and jinn. In it are manifest signs, (all indicating to the oneness of Allaah, being from it) the place of Abraham (where He stood while lifting the foundations of the Ka'bah); whosoever enters it, he attains security. And Hajj (pilgrimage to Makkah) to the House (Ka'bah) is a duty that mankind owes to Allaah, those who can afford the expenses (for one's conveyance, provision and residence); and whoever disbelieves [i.e. denies Hajj (pilgrimage to Makkah), then he is a disbeliever of Allaah], then Allaah stands not in need of any of mankind, jinn and all that exists. [chapter 3:verse 96-97] Know that the true believers do not seek any form of gain or protection from the black stone itself, nor do they believe that the body of any righteous individual is buried within the black stone, as to call upon him or seek from him. Umar Ibnul-Kattaab (a noble companion of the Prophet Muhammad, may Allaah be pleased with him) kissed the black stone while performing the pilgrimage of Hajj and said: "I know you are not but a stone, you do not bring harm nor benefit, and if I didn t see the Prophet (Muhammad, may peace be upon him) kissing you I wouldn t kiss you". [Reported by Bukhaari and Muslim] He (Ibn Umar) did this so the pilgrims can hear him and take heed of this important matter. Ibn Umar (a noble companion of the Prophet Muhammad, May Allaah be pleased with him) stired at the Ka'bah and said: "how honorable you are, and how scared you are, yet the honor of the believer is more sacred than you with Allaah". [Reported by Attirmidi] And (remember) when We showed Abraham the site of the (Sacred) House (the Ka'bah at Makkah) (saying): "Associate not anything (in worship) with Me, and sanctify My House for those who circumambulate it, and those who stand up (for prayer), and those who bow (submit themselves with humility and obedience to Allaah), and make prostration (in prayer)" [chapter 22:verse 26] 4

Abraham was not a Jew nor a Christian nor an idol worshiper Due Abrahams great noble and honorable position with his lord (Allaah), the people of the book from the Jews and Christians and the polytheist they all claim that Abraham was upon their religion and was pleased with their way, however, Allaah has freed is noble Prophet from having any form of association with all religions which call to the worship of others besides Allaah the creator, the one true God worthy of worship alone. Rather Allaah has informed us that Abraham was upon the religion of Islamic Monotheism, which is to single out the one true God in his lordship, worship and in his beautiful names and attributes, and not to ascribe any partners with him what so ever. Allaah the most high states in the holey Quraan: Verily, Abraham was a nation (a leader having all the good righteous qualities), obedient to Allaah, worshiping none but Him, and he was not one from the polytheists (idolaters, disbelievers in the Oneness of Allaah, and those who joined partners with Allaah). [Chapter 16:verse120] Allaah informs concerning his noble Prophet Abraham (peace be upon him) that was an example and a leader in establishing the worship of Allaah alone upon love and devotion, while turning away and abandoning all that which is worshiped besides Him. Abraham (peace be upon him) was never from the polytheists nor the idolaters who ascribed partners with their lord in His worship, neither by statement nor by action rather all of his worship was devoted to his lord thus he became the leader for the people of Islamic monotheism. Allaah the most high states in the holey Quraan: Abraham was neither a Jew nor a Christian, but he was a true Muslim (worshiping none but Allaah Alone) and he was not from the polytheists (idolaters, disbelievers in the Oneness of Allaah, and those who joined partners with Allaah). [Chapter 3:verse 67] When the Jews claimed that Abraham was a Jew upon their way and the Christians claimed that he was a Christian upon their way, Allaah the all knower and most wise disproved both claims and affirmed that his noble Prophet Abraham was not but a true believer in the oneness of Allaah far and free from the religion of the Jews, Christians, polytheists and all those who disbelieved in the worship of the one true God And they (the Jews and Christians ) say, "Be Jews or Christians, then you will be guided." Say (to them O (you Prophet) Muhammad, "Nay, (we follow) only the religion of Abraham, Islamic Monotheism, (to worship none but Allaah Alone), and he was not of Al-Mushrikûn (those who worshipped others along with Allaah)."[Surah 2. Verse 135] 5

The Jews and Christians call the Muslims to enter into their religion claiming that none besides them is truly guided. Allaah the most high commands His Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon Him) to say to them; Nay, we follow none not but the religion of Abraham, who turned to the worship of Allaah alone and turned his back to that which is beside Him. He (Abraham) said: (to His people): "O my people! I am indeed free from all that you join as partners with Allaah. Verily, I have turned my face towards Him Who has created the heavens and the earth Hanîfa (Islâmic Monotheism, i.e. worshipping none but Allaah Alone), and I am not of Al-Mushrikûn." Chapter:6 verse:78-79 His people disputed with him. He said: "Do you dispute with me concerning Allaah while He has guided me, and I fear not those whom you associate with Him (Allaah) in worship. (Nothing can happen to me) except when my Lord (Allaah) wills something. My Lord comprehends in His Knowledge all things. Will you not then remember? "And how should I fear those whom you associate in worship with Allaah (though they can neither benefit nor harm), while you fear not that you have joined in worship with Allaah things for which He has not sent down to you any authority. (So) which of the two parties has more right to be in security? If you but know." It is those who believe (in the Oneness of Allaah and worship none but Him Alone) and confuse not their Belief with Zulm (wrong, i.e. by worshipping others besides Allaah), for them (only) there is security and they are the guided. And that was Our Proof which We gave Ibrâhîm (Abraham) against his people. We raise whom We will in degrees. Certainly your Lord is All-Wise, All-Knowing. (Chapter 6: verse 78-83) In these blessed Qur'anic verses Abraham proclaims to his people after establishing the clear evidences against them in their falsehood of worshiping idols besides their creator, that He is free from them and all that they worship and called upon besides Allaah. So He freed himself from disbelieve and submitted himself to the oneness of Allaah upon clear and grounded evidence. 6

Abrahams detest of the idols In these blessed verses is the amazing story of Abraham (peace be upon him) with his people and his sever detesting of their worshiping of idols besides their One True lord who created them, bought them into existence from nothing and fashioned them and bestowed upon them His many favors and blessings!!. And indeed We bestowed aforetime on Abraham his guidance, and We were All- Knower of him (as to his belief in the Oneness of Allaah). When he said to his father and his people: "What are these images to which you are devoted?" They said: "We found our fathers worshipping them." He said: "Indeed you and your fathers have been in manifest error." They said: "Have you brought us the Truth, or are you one of those who play about?" He said: "Nay, your Lord is the Lord of the heavens and the earth, Who created them and to that I am one of the witnesses. "And by Allaah, I shall plot a plan (to destroy) your idols after you have gone away and turned your backs." So he broke them to pieces, (all) except the biggest of them, that they might turn to it. They said: "Who has done this to our gods? He must indeed be one of the wrongdoers." They said: "We heard a young man talking against them, who is called Abraham." They said: "Then bring him before the eyes of the people, that they may testify." They said: "Are you the one who has done this to our gods, O Abraham?" Abraham said: "Nay, this one, the biggest of them (idols) did it. Ask them, if they can speak!" So they turned to themselves and said (to themselves): "Verily, you are the wrong doers (for worshiping helpless and speechless idols)." Then they lowered their heads (and said): "Indeed you (O Abraham) know well that these (idols) speak not!" Abraham said: "Do you then worship besides Allaah, things that can neither profit you nor harm you? 7

"Fie upon you, and upon that which you worship besides Allaah! Have you then no sense?" They said: "Burn him and take avenge for your gods, if you will do so." We (Allaah) said: "O fire! Be you cool and safe for Abraham!" And they intended harm for him, but We made them the worst losers. And We rescued him and (Prophet) Lot to the land which We have blessed for the mankind and jinn (which is today the region of Palestine, Syria, Lebanon and Jordan). [chapter 21 verse 51-71] And verily, among those who followed (Prophet)Noah's way (Islâmic Monotheism) was Abraham. When he came to his Lord with a pure heart (attached to Allaah Alone and none else, worshipping none but Allaah Alone true Islâmic Monotheism, pure from the filth of polytheism). When he said to his father and to his people: "What is it that which you worship? "Is it false gods besides Allaah that you desire? "What do you think then about the Lord of mankind, jinn, and all that exists?" [chapter 37. verse 83-87] Then he turned to their gods and said: "Will you not eat (of the offering before you)? "What is the matter with you that you speak not?" Then he turned upon them, striking (them) with (his) right hand. Then they (the worshippers of idols) came towards him hastening. He said: "Worship you that which you (yourselves) carve? "While Allaah has created you and what you make!" They said: "Build for him a building (it is said that the building was like a furnace) and throw him into the blazing fire!" So, they plotted a plot against him, but We (Allaah) made them the lowest. And he said (after his rescue from the fire): "Verily, I am going to my Lord. He will guide me!" [chapter 37. verse 91-99] 8

All of this is a clear illustration of the weakness of the false gods who are worshiped besides Allaah, they do not have any capability of defending themselves from harm let alone that they should aid those who call upon them!! It also shows imbecility of those who worship the creation besides their creator!! Abrahams dis-allegiance from those who ascribe partners with Allaah Allaah the Most High has informed us in many parts of the Qur'aan that His chosen Prophet Abraham peace be upon him freed and renounced himself from all of those who associated partners with their lord. He (Abraham) said: (to His people): "O my people! I am indeed free from all that you join as partners with Allaah. [Chapter: 6 verse: 78] And (remember) when Abraham said to his father and his people: "Verily, I am free of what you worship, "Except for the One Who created me; and verily, He will guide me." And he made it [i.e. the testimony of Islamic monotheism ( Lâ ilâha illallaah- none has the right to be worshipped but Allaah Alone )] a Word lasting among his offspring, that they may turn back (i.e. to repent to Allaah or receive admonition). [Chapter:43:verse 26-28] Abraham (peace be upon him) renounced himself from the worship of the false gods as well as being severely resentful of those who worshiped them. Indeed there has been an excellent example for you in Abraham and those with him, when they said to their people: "Verily, we are free from you and whatever you worship besides Allaah, we have rejected you, and there has appeared between us and you, hostility and hatred for ever until you believe in Allaah Alone". [chapter 60: verse 4] Abraham and his followers from the believers renounced themselves and completely freed themselves from the polytheists among their people so long as they remain upon the worship of the false gods besides their creator until they repent and return to his worship. And in the way of Abraham indeed lays a great example for the followers of Muhammad the final Prophet sent to the whole mankind. 9

Allaah the Most High says [being its translated meaning:-] And recite to them the story of Abraham. When he said to his father and his people: "What do you worship?" They said: "We worship idols, and to them we are ever devoted." He said: "Do they hear you when you call on (them)? "Or do they benefit you or do they harm (you)?" They said: "(Nay) but we found our fathers doing so." He said: "Do you observe that which you have been worshipping "You and your ancient fathers? "Verily, they are enemies to me, except the Lord of the mankind, jinn and all that exists" "Who has created me, and it is He Who guides me. "And it is He Who feeds me and gives me to drink. "And when I am ill, it is He Who cures me. "And Who will cause me to die, and then will bring me to life (again). "And Who, I hope, will forgive me my faults on the Day of Recompense (the Day of Resurrection). My Lord! Bestow upon me religious knowledge (right judgment of the affairs and Prophet hood) on me, and join me with the righteous. [chapter 26: verse 69-83] Allaah the All mighty and great has strongly forbidden his believing salves from having allegiance, love and affection to those who have earned His anger and has taken as enemies, for indeed this is contrary to the religion of Abraham 11

All religions besides the religion of Abraham and the Prophets (Islamic monotheism) is to be abandoned Allaah the Most High informs of his noble Prophet Abraham who abandoned and boycotted all religions and faiths in contrary to the true chosen religion of Islamic monotheism which was ordained for him by his Lord Who created him. He (Abraham) said: (to His people): "O my people! I am indeed free from all that you join as partners with Allaah. Verily, I have turned my face towards Him Who has created the heavens and the earth upon Islamic Monotheism (worshipping none but Allaah Alone), and I am not from polytheists." Chapter:6 verse:78-79 Allaah the Most High informs of the story of his great Prophet Joseph (peace be upon) that he abandoned all the religions of disbelieve except for the true upright religion (Islamic Monotheism) of his grandfather Abraham (peace be upon him). I have abandoned the religion of a people that believe not in Allaah and are disbelievers in the Hereafter. "And I have followed the religion of my fathers, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, never could we attribute any partners whatsoever to Allaah. This is from the Grace of Allaah to us and to mankind, but most men thank not (i.e. they neither believe in Allaah nor worship Him). Are many different (feeble powerless) lords (false gods) better or Allaah, the One (in his being, attributes and acts) the Irresistible? "You do not worship besides Him but only names which you have named (forged) you and your fathers for which Allaah has sent down no authority. The judgment is for none but Allaah. He has commanded that you worship none but Him, that is the (true) straight religion, but most men know not. [chapter 12: verse 37-40] Know! (May Allaah guide you) that the one who created you has favoued and ordained for you Islaam as your religion. Allaah the most High says: This day, I have perfected your religion for you, completed My Favour upon you, and have chosen for you Islaam (submission to the oneness of Allaah) as your religion.[chapter 5: verse 3] 11

Allaah the most High says: Truly, the religion with Allaah is Islaam. [chapter 3:verse 19] Know! (May Allaah guide you) it's not possible for you to seek closeness to your lord through any religion except Islaam, the one who tries to do so, it will never be excepted from him in this world nor will he be forgiven in the hereafter. Allaah the most High says: And whoever seeks a religion other than Islaam, it will never be accepted of him, and in the Hereafter he will be one of the losers. [Chapter 3: verse 84] The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) came with the religion of Abraham It has come clear to us from that, which has preceded the religion to which Abraham peace be upon was calling to and worshiped his lord was Islaam. If you ve come to understand this then know that Muhammad (the final Prophet sent to the whole of mankind) was commanded to follow the religion of Abraham, to call to the oneness of Allaah alone and warn against the worship of the false gods. We have sent the Revelation to you (O Prophet Muhammad)-saying-: "Follow the religion of Abraham (Islamic Monotheism to worship none but Allaah) and He was not of the Mushrikuun (polytheists, idolaters, disbelievers). [chapter 16: verse 123] He (Allaah) has ordained for you the same religion (Islamic Monotheism) which He ordained for Noah, and that which We have revealed to you (O Prophet Muhammad), and that which We ordained for Abraham, Moses and Jesus; saying you should establish religion (i.e. to do what it orders you to do practically) and make no divisions in it. (i.e. Various sects in religion). Intolerable for the polytheists is that which you call them to (i.e. the religion of Islamic Monotheism). [Chapter 42: verse:13] Allaah the most High explains his great virtue upon his Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and his followers that He has chosen for them the best and most complete of religions, the religion of Islaam which the religion of the best of Prophets who came before. 12

Say (O Muhammad): "Truly, my Lord has guided me to a Straight Path, to an upright religion, the religion of Abraham, the true Islamic Monotheism to worship none but Allaah Alone, and he (Abraham) was not of polytheists, idolaters, disbelievers ". Say (O Muhammad): "Verily, my prayer, my sacrifice, my living, and my dying are for Allaah, the Lord of the mankind, jinn and all that exists. "He has no partner. And with this I have been commanded, and I am the first of the Muslims." Say: "Shall I seek a lord other than Allaah, while He is the Lord of all things? [chapter 6: verse161-164] Allaah has ordered his Messenger and seal of Prophets; Muhammad (peace be upon him) to proclaim his faith and the upright religion which he treads, consisting of justice, beneficial creed, righteous actions, commanding with every good and prohibiting from every repugnant evil affair, the religion of the noble Prophet Abraham. He (Allaah) has chosen you (the followers of the prophet Muhammad to convey His Message of Islamic Monotheism to mankind by inviting them to His religion of Islam), and has not laid upon you in your religion any hardship: it is the religion of your father Abraham (Islamic Monotheism). [chapter 22: verse78] This religion of Islamic monotheism which Allaah ha has specified and chosen for the final Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) is the same religion which Allaah had ordained for his chosen Prophet Abraham (peace be upon him). Verily, We have sent the Revelation to you (O Muhammad as We sent the Revelation to Nûh (Noah) and the Prophets after him; We (also) sent the Revelation to Ibrâhîm (Abraham), Ismâ'îl (Ishmael), Ishâq (Isaac), Ya'qûb (Jacob), and Al-Asbât [the offspring of the twelve sons of Ya'qûb (Jacob)], sâخ' (Jesus), Ayyub (Job), Yûnus (Jonah), Hârûn (Aaron), and Sulaimân (Solomon); and to Dâwûd (David) We gave the Zabûr (Psalms). And Messengers We have mentioned to you before, and Messengers We have not mentioned to you, and to Mûsâ (Moses) Allaah spoke directly. Messengers as bearers of good news as well as of warning in order that mankind should have no plea against Allaah after the (coming of) Messengers. And Allaah is Ever All-Powerful, All-Wise. [chapter 4:verse 163-165] Allaah has informed that he has revealed to his prophet Muhammad a great legislation similar to what he revealed to those great noble Prophets before him. So the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) did not come with a new religion, rather he only came to convey the religion of his brothers from the Prophets who preceded him, so those who find strangeness in his call have nothing with them but ignorance and stubbornness. 13

And who can be better in religion than one who submits his face (himself) to Allaah (i.e. follows Allaah's religion of Islamic Monotheism); and he is a good-doer. And follows the religion of Abraham, Islâmic Monotheism, to worship none but Allaah Alone. And Allaah did take Abraham as an intimate friend. [chapter 4:verse125] Say (O Muhammad): "Allaah has spoken the truth; follow the religion of Abraham Islamic Monotheism, (i.e. he used to worship Allaah Alone), and he was not of polytheists." [chapter 3: verse 95] Verily, this (the call to the oneness of Allaah) is in the former Scriptures The Scriptures of Abraham) and Moses [chapter 87: verse 18] The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and his followers are from the foremost of people to Abraham (peace be upon him) Verily, the foremost of people who have the best claim to Abraham are those who followed him, and this Prophet (Muhammad peace be upon him) and those who have believed (Muslims). [Chapter 3: verse 68] The foremost of people to Abraham are those who follow his religion of Islamic monotheism; the Prophet Muhammad and his followers. All those (Jews Christians and polytheists) who have ascribed partners with their creator are not from Abraham (peace be upon him) nor is he from them, rather he is free from them and their false religions. Those who oppose the call of Abraham while ascribing themselves to him are in a weak futile dispute O people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians)! Why do you dispute about Abraham, while the Torah and the Gospel were not revealed till after him? Have you then no sense? Verily, you are those who have disputed about that of which you have knowledge. Why do you then dispute concerning that of which you have no knowledge? It is Allaah Who knows, and you know not. Abraham was neither a Jew nor a Christian, but he was a true Muslim worship ing none but Allaah Alone (upon Islamic Monotheism ) and he was not of the polytheists and idolaters. [Chapter 3: verse 65-67] 14

Allaah the all knower and all wise mentions the futile dispute of those (Jews and Christians) who claim that Abraham was from their them and upon their religion; when in fact Abraham came much before the sending of the Torah given to Moses and the Gospel given to Jesus (peace be upon them) in which they were given no information concerning him therein, so how can you Jews and Christians claim that he was a Jew or a Christian when Judaism and Christianity did not come about except centuries after?! So Allaah falsified their claim that his noble Prophet Abraham had taken a religion other than the religion which He had ordained for him and the rest of His Prophets (Islamic Monotheism), that is not but a fabrication without any basis of knowledge what so ever. And they say, "Be Jews or Christians, then you will be guided." Say (to them O Muhammad), "Nay, (we follow) only the religion of Abraham, worshiping none but Allaah Alone (Islamic Monotheism), and he was not of those who worshipped others along with Allaah." Say (O Muslims): "We believe in Allaah and that which has been sent down to us and that which has been sent down to Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, and the offspring of the twelve sons of Jacob, and that which has been given to Moses and Jesus, and that which has been given to the Prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them, and to Him we have submitted (in Islaam)." So, if they believe in the like of that which you believe then they are rightly guided; but if they turn away, then they are only in opposition. So Allaah will suffice for you against them. And He is the All-Hearer, the All-Knower. Our religion is the religion of Allaah (Islaam) and which religion is better than the religion of Allaah? And we are His worshippers. Say (O Muhammad to the Jews and Christians), "Dispute you with us about Allaah while He is our Lord and your Lord? Or say you (Jews and Christians) that Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob and the offspring of the twelve sons of Jacob were Jews or Christians? Say, "Do you know better or does Allaah (know better... that they all were Muslims)? And who is more unjust than he who conceals the testimony [the truthfulness of Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him) he has from Allaah? And Allaah is not unaware of what you do." [Surah 2. Verse 135-140] Say (O Muhammad): "O people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians)! Come to a word that is just between us and you, that we worship none but Allaah (Alone), and that we associate no partners with Him, and that none of us shall take others as lords besides Allaah." Then, if they turn away, say: "Bear witness that we are Muslims." [chapter 3: verse 64] This is our appeal to all (Jews, Christians, polytheists ) that we do not differ amongst ourselves, rather we unite upon a common word amongst us all [La ilaaha illa Allaah (testimony that there's no deity worthy of worship but Allaah)], a word agreed upon by all the Prophets, a word which none rejects except the misguided ones who resist the truth and only follow their desires. 15

Let us agree that we worship none but Allaah who did indeed create us, we specify him in love, fear and hope, and we do not ascribe with Him any partners, not a prophet, or an angel, or a righteous person, or an idol, or an animal.. Rather we single out the creator alone in all of our acts of worship. The disbelieve of those who differentiate between the Prophets of Allaah by believing in some and rejecting others Verily, those who disbelieve in Allaah and His Messengers and wish to make distinction between Allaah and His Messengers (by believing in Allaah and disbelieving in His Messengers) saying, "We believe in some but reject others," and wish to adopt a way in between. They are in truth disbelievers. And We have prepared for the disbelievers a humiliating torment. And those who believe in Allaah and His Messengers and make no distinction between any of them (Messengers), We shall give them their rewards; and Allaah is Ever Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. [Chapter 4: verse 150-152] The people are of three groups as to their believe regarding the Prophets; firstly: those who believe in all of the Prophets from the first of them to the last of them (Adam to Muhammad) and they are the Muslims Secondly: those who reject all of the Prophets in totality and they are the polytheists like the Hindus, Sikhs, buddies, and all the idolaters alike Thirdly: those believe in some and reject some and they are the Jew and Christians who have both rejected the final Prophet Muhammad, the Jews have also disbelieved in Jesus and assaulted him and his mother by accusing him of being a bastard let alone that being Prophet!! As for those who disbelieved in all the Prophets in totality there's no doubt as to their disbelieve, however there may some doubt as to those who believed in some of the Prophets and disbelieved in others, this been the case, Allaah the all Mighty and all Wise clarified their clear disbelieve, If they truly believed in Allaah, they would have believed in all of his prophets, for indeed the one who rejects and shows enmity to one single Prophet has in reality rejected and shown enmity to all the Prophets including the ones he claims to affirm and to the one who sent him (Allaah the Most High). so in reality there's no difference between them and those who denied all the Prophets and due to the severity of their disbelieve awaits them a very painful torment. 16

Those who deny the truth harm none but themselves And who turns away from the religion of Abraham) (i.e. Islamic Monotheism) except him who befools himself? Truly, We chose him in this world and verily, in the Hereafter he will be among the righteous. [Chapter 2: verse 130] None rejects the religion of Abraham after understanding it and knowing its virtue except for the ignorant foolish one who has belittled himself and sold his soul for a cheap price. "If you deny, then nations before you have denied (their Messengers). And the duty of the Messenger (Muhammad) is only to convey (the Message) plainly." [Chapter 29: verse 18] Those who disbelieve in the revelations (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, etc.) of Allaah and the Meeting with Him, it is they who have no hope of My Mercy, and it is they who will have a painful torment. [Chapter 29: verse 23] If they turn away (and do not accept these true proofs and evidences), then surely, Allaah is All-Aware of those who do mischief. [Chapter 3: verse 63] Allaah the all Mighty is not in need of any of his creation, He is the self-sufficient Master whom all creatures need O mankind! it is you who stand in need of Allaah. But Allaah is the Rich (Free of all needs), the Worthy of all praise. If He willed, He could destroy you and bring about a new creation.and that is not hard for Allaah. [Chapter 35: verse 15-17] If you disbelieve, then verily, Allaah is not in need of you; He likes not disbelief for His slaves. And if you are grateful (by being believers), He is pleased therewith for you. No bearer of burdens shall bear the burden of another. Then to your Lord is your return and He will inform you what you used to do. Verily, He is All-Knower of that which is in (men's) breasts. [Chapter 39: verse 7] Whoever disbelieves (in the oneness of Allaah and turns away from his religion), then Allaah stands not in need of any of mankind, jinn and all that exists. 17

Speak the truth from your Lord! Then whosoever wills, let him believe; and whosoever wills, let him disbelieve. Verily, We have prepared for the oppressive (polytheists and wrong doers), a Fire whose walls will be surrounding them (disbelievers in the Oneness of Allaah). And if they ask for help (relief, water), they will be granted water like boiling oil, that will scald their faces. Terrible is the drink, and an evil is (their) dwelling, resting place)! [Chapter 18: verse 29] The punishment which awaits those who reject the call of the Prophets and deny the oneness of Allaah Finally we leave the reader to reflect upon verses from the holey Qur'aan, we ask Allaah to grant us safety in this world and in the hereafter. Those who disbelieve in the evidences (proofs, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) of Allaah and the Meeting with Him, it is they who have no hope of My Mercy, and it is they who will have a painful torment. [Chapter 29: verse 23] Verily, those who disbelieve [by concealing the truth about Prophet Muhammad and his message of true Islamic Monotheism written in the Torah and the Gospel and prevent (mankind) from the path of Allaah (Islamic Monotheism)]; they have certainly strayed far away. Verily, those who disbelieve and did wrong [by concealing the truth about Prophet Muhammad and his message of true Islamic Monotheism written in the Torah and the Gospel]; Allaah will not forgive them, nor will He guide them to any path. Except the path to Hell, to dwell therein forever; and this is ever easy for Allaah. O mankind! Verily, there has come to you the Messenger (Muhammad peace be upon him) with the truth from your Lord. So believe in him, it is better for you. But if you disbelieve, then certainly to Allaah belongs all that is in the heavens and the earth. And Allaah is Ever All-Knowing, All-Wise. [Chapter 4: verse 167-170] 18

Those who deny the Book (this Qur'aan), and that with which We sent Our Messengers (i.e. to worship none but Allaah Alone sincerely, and to reject all false deities and to confess resurrection after the death for recompense) they will come to know (when they will be cast into the fire of Hell). When iron collars will be rounded over their necks, and the chains, they shall be dragged along, In the boiling water, then they will be burned in the Fire. Then it will be said to them: "Where are (all) those whom you used to join in worship as partners "Besides Allaah"? They will say: "They have vanished from us. Nay, we did not invoke (worship) anything before." Thus Allaah leads astray the disbelievers. That was because you had been exulting in the earth without any right (by worshipping others instead of Allaah and by committing crimes), and that you used to rejoice extremely (in your error). Enter the gates of Hell to abide there in, and (indeed) what an evil abode of the arrogant! [Chapter 40: verse 70-76] Those who disbelieve say: "Listen not to this Qur'aan, and make noise in the midst of its (recitation) that you may overcome." But surely, We shall cause those who disbelieve to taste a severe torment, and certainly, We shall requite them the worst of what they used to do. That is the recompense of the enemies of Allaah: the Fire. Therein will be for them the eternal home, a (deserving) recompense for that they used to deny Our revelations (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, etc.). [Chapter 41: verse 26-28] "And follow the best of that which is sent down to you from your Lord (i.e. this Qur'aan, do what it orders you to do and keep away from what it forbids), before the torment comes on you suddenly while you perceive not!" Lest a person should say: "Alas, my grief that I was undutiful to Allaah (i.e. I have not done what Allah has ordered me to do), and I was indeed among those who mocked [at the truth! i.e. Lâ ilâha illallaah (none has the right to be worshipped but Allaah), the Qur'aan, the Prophet Muhammad and at the faithful believers]." Or (lest) he should say: "If only Allaah had guided me, I should indeed have been among the pious." 19

Or (lest) he should say when he sees the torment: "If only I had another chance (to return to the world), then I should indeed be among the Muhsinûn (good-doers. See V.2:112)." Yes! Verily, there came to you My Ayât (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) and you denied them, and were proud and were among the disbelievers. And on the Day of Resurrection you will see those who lied against Allaah (i.e. attributed to Him sons, partners) their faces will be black. Is there not in Hell an abode for the arrogant? [chapter: 39: verse:55-60] Did I not command you, O Children of Adam, that you should not worship Shaitân (Satan)? Verily, he is a plain enemy to you. And that you should worship Me [Alone Islâmic Monotheism, and set up not rivals, associate-gods with Me]. That is a Straight Path. And indeed he (Satan) did lead astray a great multitude of you. Did you not then understand? This is Hell which you were promised! Burn therein this Day, for that you used to disbelieve. This Day, We shall seal up their mouths, and their hands will speak to Us, and their legs will bear witness to what they used to earn. (It is said that one's left thigh will be the first to bear the witness). [Chapter: 36: verse:60-65] O you assembly of jinn and mankind! "Did not there come to you Messengers from amongst you, reciting to you My Verses and warning you of the Meeting of this Day of yours?" They will say: "We bear witness against ourselves." It was the life of this world that deceived them. And they will bear witness against themselves that they were disbelievers. [chapter: 6: verse:130] 21

And those who disbelieved will be driven to Hell in groups till when they reach it the gates thereof will be opened (suddenly like a prison at the arrival of the prisoners). And its keepers will say: "Did not the Messengers come to you from yourselves, reciting to you the Verses of your Lord, and warning you of the Meeting of this Day of yours?" They will say: "Yes," but the Word of torment has been justified against the disbelievers! It will be said (to them): "Enter you the gates of Hell, to abide therein. And (indeed) what an evil abode of the arrogant!" [chapter: 39: verse:71-72] And for those who disbelieve in their Lord (Allaah) is the torment of Hell, and worst indeed is that destination. When they are cast therein, they will hear the (terrible) drawing in of its breath as it blazes forth. It almost bursts up with fury. Every time a group is cast therein, its keepers will ask: "Did no warner come to you?" They will say: "Yes, indeed a warner did come to us, but we denied him and said: 'Allaah never sent down anything (of Revelation); you are only in great error."' ] And they will say: "Had we but listened or used our intelligence, we would not have been among the dwellers of the blazing Fire!" Then they will confess their sin. So, away with the dwellers of the blazing Fire! [Chapter: 67: verse: 6-11] The likes of these blessed verses are many in the holey Qur'aan for those who wish to take heed, contemplate and ponder as to where their future lays. So our sincere advice to those of intellect that they seriously consider these great meanings and evidences which we have recorded from the final revelation sent to the whole of mankind (Qur'aan) before it's too late then there will be no second chance for rectification once your soul departs from your body and you return to your lord, because the truth has been made clear to you and evidence has been established against you by the sending down of this noble Quraan with the final Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him. Due to this Allaah the most high says: 21

Certainly, We have brought to them a Book (the Q ur'aan) which We have explained in detail with knowledge, a guidance and a mercy to a people who believe. Await they just for the final fulfillment of the event? On the Day the event is finally fulfilled (i.e. the Day of Resurrection), those who neglected it before will say: "Verily, the Messengers of our Lord did come with the truth, now are there any intercessors for us that they might intercede on our behalf? Or could we be sent back (to the first life of the world) so that we might do (good) deeds other than those (evil) deeds which we used to do?" Verily, they have lost their own selves (i.e. destroyed themselves) and that which they used to fabricate (invoking and worshipping others besides Allaah) has gone away from them. Indeed, your Lord is Allaah, Who created the heavens and the earth in Six Days, and then He rose over the Throne (really in a manner that suits His Majesty). He brings the night as a cover over the day, seeking it rapidly, and (He created) the sun, the moon, the stars subjected to His Command. Surely, His is the creation and commandment. Blessed is Allaah, the Lord of the mankind, jinn and all that exists! Invoke your Lord with humidity and in secret. He likes not the transgressors. And do not do mischief on the earth, after it has been set in order, and invoke Him with fear and hope. Surely, Allaah's Mercy is (ever) near to the good-doers. And it is He Who sends the winds as heralds of glad tidings, going before His Mercy (rain). Till when they have carried heavy-laden clouds, We drive it to a land that is dead, then We cause water (rain) to descend thereon. Then We produce every kind of fruit therewith. Similarly, We shall raise up the dead, so that you may remember or take heed. [Chapter: 7 verse: 52-57] All praise is due to Allaah the Most Glories and Magnificent. 22
