Please write the names of your deceased relatives or loved ones on a card and leave in the basket provided. The cards will be brought up with the offertory at Mass and included in our prayers during November As Parish Priest of St Macartan's, Mornington, I would like to show my concern and acknowledge the shameful reality of sexual abuse by many clergy, religious and other Church personnel, which have brought so much suffering to so many people. The victims of this crime deserve our compassion, our admiration and our support. We should work together to minimise the risk of such things ever happening again. We pray for healing and forgiveness which could help us to
recognise the presence of Jesus among us. THE YEAR OF GRACE This is to be a year that offers us the invitation to STOP, RENEW and REFOCUS our faith by encountering Christ afresh through prayer, reflecting on the Word, and involvement in the liturgies. More information to follow, but we can commence NOW with some special personal practice which will help us to be aware of God's gift of grace in our lives.
