The End Times The GREAT TRIBULATION begins! PART 3 REVIEW Three and one-half years have passed since the Church was removed from the earth to be in heaven with the LORD at the great Marriage Ceremony of the Lamb and the Judgment Seat of Christ. The past three and one-half years have been difficult for the nation of Israel here on earth with no food, no rain, and no help from the surrounding countries. Israel s trouble has been brought about by the two witnesses who have been pointing people to the LORD, calling for a solemn assembly of the entire nation before the LORD, but the nation has rejected their message and hated the two men. The attack of King Gog and his allies has exacerbated the troubles in Israel s homeland because it has given the supreme leader of the Revived Roman Empire a reason to enter the land. Once there, he has decided not to return home. He wants Israel as his own. He wants Jerusalem as his own. He wants the Temple as his own. He wants to be worshiped as the god above all other gods. He breaks the seven-year treaty with Israel. Then, still in a fighting mood, he decides to deal with the two witnesses. Once the allotted time for the ministry of the two witnesses was over, they were vulnerable, their powers gone! The supreme leader, the president beast, was able to kill them. However, after three days, they rose from the dead and everyone in the world saw their ascension into heaven. That miracle in the sky coupled with the abomination of the supreme leader in the Temple was enough to change the hearts of the leaders of Israel. For the first time since they rejected the LORD in 30 AD, their eyes point to their Savior. But with the supreme leader in Jerusalem along with the cleric of the apostasy and Satan on earth after being thrown out of heaven, the next 1,260 days will truly be a time of for Israel. 17
Summary and Harmony of the Rev. 6, Rev. 11, Rev. 12, Mat. 24 Seal 4 Seal 4; With Satan s arrival on earth, the man on the pale horse will emerge with his plagues of famine, sword, pestilence and wild beasts. His name is Death and all in Hades will follow after him. Woe to the world because Satan will be on earth for a short time! The earthquake in Jerusalem that kills one- tenth of the people will be used by the LORD to protect the nation of Israel. Once in Jerusalem, Satan the dragon, the supreme president beast, and the false prophet will be infuriated and will attack the people of Israel. Satan will spew water and try to drown the Israelites but the Lord will protect them by scattering them to various places of safety. They will escape with the help of an earthquake which will swallow the water. The Edomites/Palestinians will join in hampering Israel s escape. Woe to the rest of the earth, especially the Christians who believe in the message of the eternal gospel spoken by the two witnesses, for Satan s focus will be on all who hold to Jesus as Savior and LORD! Rev. 13, Mat. 24 Satan will energize the supreme president/beast with great authority. The cleric of the apostate religion will require worship of the president and Satan. No one will be able to make war against this trio. The words of the president will be arrogant and blasphemous against the LORD and he will continue to verbally attack God for 42 months and constantly make war with the saints which will include many Jewish believers. Many will die. Additionally, the cleric, who has deceived many with his apostate religion, will also be energized by Satan with great authority. He will be able to perform miracles such as calling down fire from heaven. He will speak like Satan and he will have a replica of the supreme president created and demand the 18
worship of this idol. Energized by Satan, the statue will have the ability to speak and to kill. This same cleric will now demand the number 666 to be implanted on the forehead or hand of anyone who wishes to do business with the supreme president as well as with anyone in any country that he controls. It will be a mark of loyalty to the supreme president for the world to see. Satan will spill the blood of those who reject the mark on the ground. Rev. 8, Matt. 24 Trump 1 Bowl 1 Rev. 8 Trump 2 Trump 1: Satan will send his first barrage on the earth in the form of hail, fire and brimstone which will mix with the blood of the dead saints. About one- third of the earth will be set on fire. Bowl 1: The LORD will respond by instructing His angel to pour the first bowl on the earth. The LORD s action will send loathsome sores on the bodies of all who have received the mark of the beast. They will writhe in pain! Trump 2: Satan will retaliate by casting into the sea a great object which looks like a mountain. This event will cause about one- third of the sea creatures to die and it will destroy one- third of the ships in that area which are attempting to deliver life- sustaining goods. Bowl 2 Bowl 2: Satan will think it is his plan to kill the sea creatures with blood; however, it is the LORD s plan. The LORD will send the angel to turn the sea to blood and cause all the creatures to die. Satan will not possess this kind of power. Only the Creator of the universe, the LORD of lords, can make these things happen. 19
Rev. 8 Trump 3 Trump 3: Satan will attempt to show his power by causing the star known as Wormwood to fall into the freshwater. This action will cause one- third of the freshwater to become rancid and many will die. But this event is not the work of Satan at all because the LORD will throw the third bowl to bring this disaster to reality. Bowl 3 Rev. 6, Mat. 24 Seal 5 Bowl 3: The LORD will instruct the angel to pour the third bowl on the earth and the fresh water rivers and springs will become blood and will turn rancid in order to chastise the marked ones, the ones bearing the number 666, who have been pouring out the blood of the saints. Seal 5: In heaven, the thousands of souls of martyred tribulation believers will be seen under the altar in heaven crying out How long? The will bring about the deaths of many people, both evil and righteous. Under the altar, the saints who will be beheaded for their faith will cry out to the Lord, How long? The Lord will answer saying, Until all that are to die have died. The rampage of killings will progress from this point at an alarming rate in the world. Never before has the world seen such tribulation and bloodshed. If this carnage continues, no one will survive its destruction. The saints under the altar must wait patiently until all who will join them arrive, beheaded for their faith in the Gospel of the LORD Jesus. 20
Bowl 4 Bowl 4: The LORD will make the next move against His enemies on earth. He will instruct the angel with the fourth bowl to pour God s wrath, a scorching sun, upon the earth,. Even though the sun will scorch the wicked men, they will not repent of their evil deeds; conversely, they will hate Him even more. Bowl 5: With the hearts of the wicked hardened even more, the LORD will instruct the angel to pour out the fifth bowl on the earth and the beast and his entire kingdom will begin to gnaw their tongues in pain and to blaspheme God. They will not repent. Bowl 5 Rev. 8:12 Trump 4 Rev. 9 Trump 5 Trump 4: Satan will attempt to block the scorching of the sun by altering nature which will cause one- third of the sun, moon and stars not to shine. Once again, Satan does not have the power to do this; however, it is part of the LORD s plan and He will allow it to happen. Trump 5: The fifth trumpet will blast and Satan will call for the plague of the locusts to come forth. These locusts are not the same as the ones seen in Israel s trouble in the first part of the tribulation. The first locusts devastated the crops and were herbivores but these second locusts will be carnivores. However, the LORD will allow these locusts only to sting people. Satan does not have the power to kill mankind without the permission of the LORD. He no longer has access to the LORD in heaven since he was cast out; therefore, he can only instruct these locusts to sting. For five months, they will sting but not kill. The locusts have been held captive in the bottomless pit. A star will fall from heaven with the key to open the bottomless pit. The locusts will exit the open pit to sting mankind for five months. 21
Rev. 17, Rev. 18. Rev. 19 THE IDOLOTROUS WOMAN THE APOSTATE RELIGION The idolatrous woman has been a part of all the evil on earth since her inception. Especially during the Tribulation time, her religion has beheaded the saints of the Lord, and, in many ways, trampled on and stifled the plans of Satan and the beast as well. Nevertheless, Satan has used her to his advantage all these years since her establishment in 622 AD, but now she will be in the way of Satan s progress. She has waged war against the Lamb up to this point in the Tribulation and has fallen short of her desires. She has controlled the hearts and minds of many nations with her religious beliefs and has imposed her laws on their lands. The LORD will put it in the mind of the beast to kill her and he will complete the act in one hour. In one legal act, the supreme president/beast will strip her of all her power. For centuries, she has sought to dominate everyone with her own brand of religion. Many have put their faith in her passion and immorality. The leaders of the world have purchased her goods, primarily the oil from beneath land under her feet, and, in turn, she has purchased their luxurious and lavish items that only she can afford. Her own tactics will waylay her. In the last six years, the supreme president/beast has obtained so much power that no one on earth, including the idolatrous woman, has been able to overcome his decisions. He is the ultimate evil dictator on earth. With her power stripped, the Islamic world will wail, but heaven will rejoice. Her sins will have piled up as high as the heavens and the LORD will finally be done with her. The kings who have bowed to the idolatrous woman will weep and lament her death. The merchants of the earth will also weep and mourn her because no one buys their supplies. Shipmasters and sailors who have made their living by the sea will only be able to stand at a distance and cry out. The city of the great apostasy is burning. They will throw dust on their heads while they cry, Woe, woe, the great city, in which all who had ships at sea became rich by her wealth, for in one hour she has been laid waste! 22
Joy will ring out in heaven for saints, apostles and prophets because God will have finally pronounced judgment against the idolatrous woman. A strong angel will take a great millstone and throw it into the sea, saying, "Thus will Babylon, the great city, be thrown down with violence, and will not be found any longer. A voice will be heard from heaven, saying, The Lord has avenged the blood of the bondservants on Babylon. Not only will the idolatrous woman/apostate religion have lost her power and influence, her city in Babylon/Mecca will also be destroyed. For this, the elders and creatures in heaven will worship God! Fewer than six months left in the seven years of Tribulation! The Gathering for the Battle of Armageddon Begins! 23
