Brethren, the most astonishing thing is what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God.

There is therefore now no condemnation to THOSE WHO ARE IN Christ Jesus, Who is free?

The Fatherhood of God Arises from His Divine Nature and Relative Personal Property and is Immutable The Fatherhood of God does not arise out of His action of election. But it arises from His Divine Nature and Relative Personal Property of Fatherhood. He has an eternal union with His little ones arising out of His Being their Father, and their being His children. Therefore, rather than casting them away as rebellious children, He chose to grant mercy to them in and by His only Begotten Son, our Lord Jesus Christ. The Little Children are Out of God The little children are out of God, not out of the wicked one. This relates to their spiritual being, not their natural being. In their natural state they are created from the dust of the earth like the vessels of wrath. They shall remain in their dust state until death. At death their body returns unto the dust from whence it was taken and then at the resurrection their mortal body shall come forth as an immortal body bearing the image fully of the Heavenly Man, Christ Jesus, the Second Adam. I Cor. 15:41 There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars: for one star differeth from another star in glory. 42 So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption: 43 It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power: 44 It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body. 45 And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit. 46 Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual. 47 The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven. 48 As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly.

49 And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly. I John 3:10 In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother. 11 For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another. 12 Not as Cain, who was of that wicked one, and slew his brother. And wherefore slew he him? Because his own works were evil, and his brother's righteous. I John 5:18 We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not. 19 And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness. 20 And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life. In the exercise of His mercy the Father gave His little children unto Christ as their Mediatorial God-Man and Surety. Christ, therefore, in receiving the Father's little children, agreed to maintain them, save them, preserve them, guard them, and secure them, in such a way that nothing shall ever break the Father's eternal union and love for and with His little ones, or keep them from enjoying the eternal happiness they, as God's little children, shall enjoy in the world to come. Identity in Christ Col. 3:3 For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. 4 When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory. In doing this, the Father gave the little children unto Christ, their elder brother, before all creation. The Father looks upon His little children as He looks upon Christ Jesus. In Christ abides His love and His union with His little ones. He has looked upon His little ones always as they stand in Christ. Rom. 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. 29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to

the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. 30 Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified. 31 What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? 32 He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things? 33 Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth. 34 Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us. 35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 36 As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. 37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. 38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, 39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. By viewing His little ones always in Christ, the Father's love for them and union with them has been and shall always be preserved. 1 Jude, the servant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James, to them that are sanctified by God the Father, and preserved in Jesus Christ, and called: Our Spiritual Ignorance However, we do not know this until our effectual calling and then our mind is renewed and we can understand that He is our Heavenly Father and we are His little children. As His little Children, we understand that we have come out of God. 1Jo 4:4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.

1Jo 4:6 We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error. 1Jo 5:19 And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness. I John 5:20 And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life. Eph 4:24 And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness. Gal. 4:6 And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father. 7 Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ. 8 Howbeit then, when ye knew not God, ye did service unto them which by nature are no gods. Election Arises out of God's Eternal Union with His Children The Scriptures teach us that election is according to God's foreknowledge, which is His fore-union with His little children. God the Father did and does have an eternal and everlasting union with His little children and this union arises out of His Being their Father, not out of His doing something such as electing them. Because of God's fore-union with His little children, and their coming out of Him, He loves them with an everlasting love and elected or chose to give them unto Christ for their safe keeping, preservation, conformation and maintainance, i. e. their salvation.

Eternal Union is First with the Father and then with Christ Jesus The Scriptures teach the Eternal Union, Paternal Union, of God's Children first with the Father and then with Jesus Christ. The Father gave His little children unto Christ Who received them and has undertaken their salvation and care. He is indeed the preserver and maintainer of the union between the Father and His little children. Christ Jesus became the Mediatorial God-Man, before the Foundation of the world, in order to preserve us in our Paternal Union with the Father. He serves in this work as the Surety of the Better Covenant. Even though God the Father did give His little ones unto Christ, and Christ did receive them, the Father still jointly possesses them in Christ. 9 I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine. The Union of Christ and His Father extends unto the Little Children of God. Those who belong to Christ also belong unto the Father and those who belong unto the Father also belong unto Christ. 10 And all mine are thine, and thine are mine; and I am glorified in them God gave His Little Children unto Christ The Scriptures reveal to us that the Father gave sons and children unto Christ. The little children were already sons and children before they were given. They were not given unto Christ in order to become sons and children, but because they already were sons and children. Isa. 8:18 {1} Behold I and the children which God has given me: and they shall be for signs and wonders in the house of Israel from the Lord of hosts, who dwells in mount Sion. {1) Heb 2:18} LXX 18 Behold, I and the children whom the LORD hath given me are for signs and for wonders in Israel from the LORD of hosts, which dwelleth in mount Zion. AV 18 Behold, I and the children whom the LORD hath given me shall be for signs and for wonders in Israel from the LORD of hosts, who dwelleth in mount Zion. JPS Hebrews 2: 9 But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man. 10 For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in

bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings. 11 For both he that sanctifieth and they who are sanctified are all of one: for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren, 12 Saying, I will declare thy name unto my brethren, in the midst of the church will I sing praise unto thee. 13 And again, I will put my trust in him. And again, Behold I and the children which God hath given me. 14 Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; 15 And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage. Gleanings from 1 and 2 John 1Jo 1:2 (For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us;) 1Jo 1:3 That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ. 1Jo 2:1 My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: 1Jo 2:13 I write unto you, fathers, because ye have known him that is from the beginning. I write unto you, young men, because ye have overcome the wicked one. I write unto you, little children, because ye have known the Father. 1Jo 2:15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 1Jo 2:16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. 1Jo 2:22 Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son. 1Jo 2:23 Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: (but) he

that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also. 1Jo 2:24 Let that therefore abide in you, which ye have heard from the beginning. If that which ye have heard from the beginning shall remain in you, ye also shall continue in the Son, and in the Father. 1Jo 3:1 Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not. 1Jo 4:14 And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world. 1Jo 5:7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one. 2Jo 1:3 Grace be with you, mercy, and peace, from God the Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father, in truth and love. 2Jo 1:4 I rejoiced greatly that I found of thy children walking in truth, as we have received a commandment from the Father. 2Jo 1:9 Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son. Biblical Highlights Mt 13:38 The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one; Joh 11:52 And not for that nation only, but that also he should gather together in one the children of God that were scattered abroad. Ro 8:16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: Ro 8:17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and jointâ "heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together. Ro 8:21 Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. Eph 1:5 Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, 1Jo 3:10 In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth

not his brother. 1Jo 4:4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. John 6:37 All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out. 38 For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me. 39 And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day. 40 And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day. Key Verses: John 17:2 As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him; 6 I have manifested thy name unto the men which thou gavest me out of the world: thine they were, and thou gavest them me; and they have kept thy word. 9 I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine. 10 And all mine are thine, and thine are mine; and I am glorified in them. 11 And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are. 12 While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name: those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost, The Father Did First Posses the Little Children and then Gave Them unto Christ. 6 I have manifested thy name unto the men which thou gavest me out of the world: thine they were, and thou gavest them me; and they have kept thy word. Isa. 8:18 Behold, I and the children whom the LORD hath given me are for signs and for wonders in Israel from the LORD of hosts, which dwelleth in mount Zion.

Christ and the Father Jointly Possess the Little Children. 9 I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine. Christ Received the Little Children and Gives them Eternal Life.
