Prophetic Outworking of the Seven Divisions of Revelation (Geophysical Fulfillment of Events) Introduction (Updated February, 2017) Regarding the interpretation of the Seven Divisions of The Final Word, it is necessary for the writer to place on record that it is his belief that everyone has a right to believe exactly what they want just as he has. Therefore, the reader is at liberty to embrace, or reject his prophetic understanding in relation to the Seven Divisions as contained within The Final Word Book. The Final Word Internet Ministry is of the opinion that the scroll/book of Revelation is a stand-alone prophetic word to the New Testament followers of Jesus Christ. In other words, we believe that through the guidance of the Holy Spirit, the Revelation interprets itself, and to this end, it is not reliant upon information found in the Old Testament for illumination. An example: Mystery Babylon the Great (Rev17: 1-18) is only to be found in the Revelation, as well as the Mark of the Beast (Rev 13: 16-17) etc. Relative to this, the following scriptures are worth noting: Luk 16:16 The Law and the Prophets were until John (the Apostle). Heb 1:1 God, who at many times and in many ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets, Heb 1:2 has in these last days spoken to us by His Son... Events prophesied in the scroll/book of Revelation are precursors to the triumphant return of the SON! In order to keep things simple, and as far as possible we have avoided (as far as is possible) the traditional method of interpretation, which is to take a verse or series of verses (chapter/s) followed by the expositors (interpreters) explanation pertaining to those verses/chapters as he, or she understands them. In other words, we have endeavoured to unpack the seven divisions in contemporary language. We also include comments from the Final Word Internet Ministry, where necessary. From the outset, it is important to state that it has never been the Revelation/Revelations of John, but the Revelation (singular) of Jesus Christ. John did not get any revelations whatsoever! He literally saw Jesus, and the futuristic events that Jesus showed him, and in obedience recorded what Jesus said he should write down. Therefore, should you read, or hear someone say, The book of Revelations, or the Revelations of John beware! In terms of structure, this exposition follows the selfsame sequence of The Seven Divisions of The Final Word. Therefore, we are of the opinion that the reader should read The Final Word book (division one) together with this exposition. The Final Word book (inclusive of the Technical Exposition) is available as a free download from our Web Site: www.thefinalword.co.za The key to unlocking the prophetic significance of the Seven Divisions is found in the two time- periods, and the small scroll elucidated in the following scriptures: John, who also am your brother and companion in the affliction, and in the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was in the island that is called Patmos, for the Word of God and for the testimony of Jesus Christ. I, John, was in the Spirit on the Lord s * Day, and he heard a very loud voice similar to that of a trumpet blast behind him saying: I am Alpha and Omega, the First and the Last, and what you see, write in a scroll and send it unto the seven communities which are in Asia Minor: unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamos, and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea (Rev 1:9-11). * Possibly a Sabbath, as John was a Jew, and had been used to preaching in the synagogue on the Sabbath. Or, he may have been referring to the 1st day of the week, which today is known as Sunday (Son-day?). Fear not, I am the First and the Last. I am He that lives, and was dead, and behold, I am alive for evermore. Amen. And I have the keys of hell and of death. The mystery of the seven stars which you saw in My right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks: the seven stars are the angels of the seven communities; and the seven candlesticks which you saw are the seven communities. Write the things which you have seen, and the things which are, and the things which shall be hereafter (Rev1:17b-19).

There are a number of vital clues in the above scriptures, which are crucial for understanding the prophetic message of the Seven Divisions: 1. John tells us the reason why he had been banished to the Island of Patmos, namely for his preaching the word of Jehovah and his testimony of Jesus Christ. 2. Jesus had the keys of death and hell in his left hand, and He revealed the mystery of the seven stars, which were in His right hand, as well as the seven candlesticks to John. 3. Furthermore, Jesus went on to instruct John to record specifically what he had seen, things that are (these events occurred on Patmos), and the things that are in the hereafter (future). Ultimately his entire experience was to be written down; and dispatched to the seven communities, which were located within the coastal regions of the mainland (Asia Minor Roman Province), and according to historians the above mentioned seven towns were located within an established postal route. In order to interpret the scroll/book of Revelation, and establish a prophetic timeline, it is crucial to understand the three key principles that unlocks the mystery of this prophetic scroll/book. Three Keys These then, are the three keys from which we derive our understanding, 1) Things he had seen. 2) Things that are. 3) Things in the future. The things that were seen, and are, relate to the same time-period, which are the Patmos events. The things hereafter, relate to the future hence we can clearly identify two timeperiods: past and future Also, we must not overlook the importance of Jesus appearing in person to John. His appearance would have established beyond a shadow of doubt in the mind of John that He was alive, which would have been an enormous boost for his moral, and that of the believers in the vicinity; who collectively suffered massive persecution under Cesar s rule. Interlocking Nature of the Seven Divisions Division One Patmos: What was seen - Things that are - Things that are in the hereafter Division Two Jesus wrath Rise of the Eastern Leg of Beast s Kingdom Division Seven Victory -The Second Coming The New Jerusalem Division Six Fill in data applicable to Division Four & Division Five Division Three Invasion and capitulation of the Nation of Israel Division Five Abba s wrath upon the Beast s consolidated kingdom Division Four Rise & Consolidation of the Beast s Kingdom

In terms of our expositional work in relation to division four and five, it would be impossible to give an accurate interpretation of these events without the information contained at the beginning of division five (Rev 17:1-18) and within division six. In brief, the information revealed therein can be elucidated as follows: Indictment against the Whore, Mystery Babylon the Great, Mother of Harlots (The Great City) and the rise of the Beast s kingdom and the ultimate judgment of these satanic entities. See: Satan s Red Dragon Kingdom, www.thefinalword.co.za So, what specifically did John see? Division One Things That Were Seen (Rev 1:10-20) John saw his glorified, risen, Saviour Jesus Christ, standing amongst seven golden candlesticks and He held in His right hand seven stars, and in His left hand He had the keys of death & hell (bottomless pit) signifying His authority over these entities. Jesus told John that the seven candlesticks represented the seven communities of Asia Minor, and the seven stars were the seven angels, or overseers of the respective communities. Things That Are (Rev 1:19) Relate to the messages or letters to the seven individual communities, which Jesus dictated to John who then recorded what Jesus told him to say. From the onset, John would have realised that Jesus was very serious about the contents of the seven letters especially the warnings!! Briefly, the letters deal with the spiritual condition of each community. The letters are structured and all follow the same format, that is to say, each letter is addressed to the angel (overseers) of each specific community. Followed by Jesus spiritual qualification, an encouragement and an admonition ending off with a promise of a reward by The Holy Spirit. It is interesting to note, that The Smyrnian and Philadelphian communities receive no admonition from Jesus. Maybe it is time for the Christian churches of today to use these two churches as models, instead of the entertainment orientated and numbers entities they have become. The transmission line of the seven letters is straight from Jesus to John church take heed! Seven Letters to Communities: UNTO THE ANGEL OF THE COMMUNITY OF EPHESUS WRITE: Jesus qualification: These things says He that holds the seven stars in His right hand, Who walks in the midst of the seven golden candlesticks. Jesus encouragement and admonition: I know your works, and your labour, and your patience, and how you cannot bear them which are evil: and you have tried those who say they are apostles, and are not, and have found them liars. And have borne, and have patience, and for My name's sake have laboured, and have not become weary. Nevertheless I have this against you, because you have left your first love. Remember therefore from whence you have fallen, and repent, and do the first works. Otherwise I will come to you quickly, and will remove your candlestick out of its place, except you repent. But this you have, that you hate the deeds of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate. Reward: To him that overcomes I will give to eat from the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God. Admonition: He that has an ear let him hear what the Spirit says unto the communities. (Rev. 2:1 7)

UNTO THE ANGEL OF THE COMMUNITY OF SMYRNA WRITE: Jesus qualification: These things says the First and the Last, Who was dead, and is alive Jesus encouragement: I know your works, and tribulation, and poverty, but you are rich and I know the blasphemy of those which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan. Fear none of the things which you shall suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that you may be tried; and you shall have tribulation for ten days. Be faithful unto death, and I will give you crown of life. Reward: He that overcomes shall not be hurt of the second death. Admonition: He that has an ear let him hear what the Spirit says unto the communities. (Rev. 2: 8 11) UNTO THE ANGEL OF THE COMMUNITY IN PERGAMUM WRITE: Jesus qualification: These things says He which has the sharp sword with two edges Jesus encouragement and admonition: I know your works and where you dwell, where Satan's seat is: and you hold fast to My name, and have not denied My faith; even in those days wherein Antipas was my faithful martyr, who was slain among you, where Satan dwells. But I have a few things against you, because you have there them that hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balak to cast a stumbling block before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed unto idols, and to commit fornication. So have you also them that hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitans, which thing I hate. Repent; or else I will come unto you quickly, and will fight against them with the sword of My mouth. Reward: To him that overcomes will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and on the stone a new name written, which no man knows saving he that receives it. Admonition: He that has an ear let him hear what the Spirit says unto the communities. (Rev. 2: 12-17) UNTO THE ANGEL OF THE COMMUNITY IN THYATIRA WRITE: Jesus qualification: These things says the Son of God, Who has eyes like unto a flame of fire, and His feet are like fine brass Jesus encouragement and admonition: I know your works, and charity, and service, and faith, and your patience, and your works; and the last to be more than the first. Notwithstanding I have a few things against you, because you permit that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols. And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not. Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds. And I will kill her children with death; and all the communities shall know that I am He who searches the minds and hearts: and I will give unto every one of you according to your works. But unto you I say, and unto the rest in Thyatira, as many as have not this doctrine, and which have not known the depths of Satan, as they speak; I will put upon you no other burden. But that which you already have hold fast till I come. Reward: And he that overcomes, and keeps My works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to pieces. As I received of My Father, I will give unto him the morning star. Admonition: He that has an ear let him hear what the Spirit says unto the communities. (Rev. 2: 18 29)

UNTO THE ANGEL OF THE COMMUNITY IN SARDIS WRITE: Jesus qualification: These things says He that has the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars Jesus encouragement and admonition: I know your works that you have a name that you live, and are dead. Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die: for I have not found your works perfect before God. Remember therefore how you have received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore you shall not watch, I will come on you as a thief, and you shall not know what hour I will come upon you. You have a few names even in Sardis which have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with me in white: for they are worthy. Reward: He that overcomes, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name from the scroll of life, but I will confess his name before My Father, and before His angels. Admonition: He that has an ear let him hear what the Spirit says unto the communities. " (Rev. 3: 1 6) UNTO THE ANGEL OF THE COMMUNITY IN PHILADELPHIA WRITE: Jesus qualification: These things says He that is holy, He that is true, He that has the key of David, He that opens, and no man shuts; and shuts, and no man opens Jesus encouragement: I know your works: behold, I have set before you an open door, and no man can shut it; for you have a little strength, and have kept My word, and have not denied My name. Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before your feet, and to know that I have loved you. Because you have kept the word of my patience, I also will keep you from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. Behold, I come quickly: hold onto what you have, that no man take your crown. Reward: Him that overcomes will I make a pillar in the temple of My God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of My God, and the name of the city of My God; which is the new Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from My God. Admonition: He that has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says unto the communities. (Rev. 3: 7 13) UNTO THE ANGEL OF THE COMMUNITY IN LAODICEA WRITE: Jesus qualification: These things says the Amen, the faithful and true Witness, The Beginning of the creation of God Jesus encouragement and admonition: I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot: I would you were cold or hot. So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spew you out of my mouth. Because you say, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and know not that you are wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked. I counsel you to buy from me gold tried in the fire, that you may be rich; and white raiment, that you may be clothed, and that the shame of your nakedness be not revealed; and anoint your eyes with eye-salve, that you may see. As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent. Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear My voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will dine with him, and he with Me. Reward: To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, even as I overcame, and am sat down with My Father on His throne. Admonition: He that has an ear let him hear what the Spirit says unto the communities. (Rev. 3: 14 22)

Summary Jesus told John to write down on a scroll all that he had witnessed, including the seven messages for the communities. Once the scroll was completed he was to send it to the seven communities on the mainland. John most likely understood that once the message was in written form it would eventually be taken to the entire known world (Roman Empire) of his day The reader will note that we use the word communities, rather than churches, which nearly always conveys buildings of some kind. Owing to the intensity of the persecution it is highly unlikely that the saints met in one central place but tended to move from house to house (see book of Acts), for safety reasons. Jesus warned that if the communities failed to heed his warnings He would remove their candlestick(s). History records the eventual demise of all of these communities. The towns these communities were living in became ruins for all to see. They ended up thus, as a result of their disobedience! In fact, in our day, it is common knowledge that many Christians go on site-seeing tours to Patmos and the mainland. Today, Patmos is under Greek administration, whilst Turkey is a completely Moslem nation. Apart from the over-arching aspects of the messages within the seven letters to the churches throughout the New Testament age Division One is well and truly past tense! The events pertaining to: Things That Were Seen (Rev 1:10-20) and the Things That Are (Rev 1:19) will not occur again it is FINISHED! We shall now move on to Division Two, which is the unfolding of future prophetic events pertaining to our day (not John s day) relative to the remaining six divisions of the Revelation.
